I had already lined up ma squad so everyone would have a double gameweek by GW27, then I would have used the wildcard to normalise my squad by GW28.

It cost me a hell of a lot, as my second option was to have everyone on a double GW last week, then use the subsequent transfers to ensure ma whole team will have double games by GW 27.

Would you be able to afford to buy back Tevez if you got Torres + RVP? In midfield who'd you sell to make space for Dempsey + Kuyt? Can you afford to buy back Nasri or VdV if you sell them? Kuyt only scored one more point than Cesc despite playing twice.

Using the wildcard in GW27 will not make much difference, as even someone who did not use the wildcard will be able to field at least 10 players with double games. Its called COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE nigguh.

Syntax error. . . Check the fixtures then check ur team or any random team and tell me playing a wildcard in GW27 wouldn't cop at least 35-50 more points.

As for me, even without wildcard i still copped 106 points. . . I'm not even sure i'd be needing my wildcard sef cos i've already assembled a killer team.

I made a fatal mistake by hoping to play my wildcard in GW28. If I had known that GW27 was the deadline, I woulda played my wildcard last week and woulda copped 150 points easily.

Why the fixation with GW28 when there are loads of fixtures during GW27(15 to be precise)? Birmingham play THRICE!!! Arsenal have two home games, Spurs also play twice etc. The only extra fixture in GW28 is Chelsea v Man Utd which would prolly end 1-0 or 0-0 or sumn. A buy out clause cannot "scare off" suitors for the simple fact that the fee stated in the clause does not have to be met for the player to be transferred. Many players in Spain have ridiculous amounts(even higher than Aguero) as their release fee but still move for far less.

A release clause can only benefit the player, it cannot help the club in any reasonable way.
