This girl must be a teenager..... Ojukwu's father, far before the war was the Richest man in Nigeria right there in Lagos Yoruba land, I am sure your grand father worked as a cleaner for him...let me just elevate your lineage a little. These pictures you r seeing does it look like ppl are not in their region and enjoying themselves?.... You come down here steal our oil , use the money to develop Lagos former Nigeria capital which is no man's land and you r here talking about my region
You can call Lagos anything you like even 'no woman's land'you have that freedom of speech and it does not deter the truth.I just hope you and your family are not deported...

Even as a Lagosian,I support my brothers from the other Yoruba states like Ibadan that had singlehanded demolished all the five SE states.Look above your post... bring something like that or even the small one and you have carried the day...all your states joined together cannot match only Ibadan....ugly shame to all of una.
As per Lagos,if you want me to begin to preach to you that it is a SW Yoruba state that had the destiny of being the former capital, then you must have another think coming. Lagos would always,I repeat always be a Yoruba state and there is nothing even,I Ritchiee can do about that....ciao.

This is the mistake all Yorubas are making , every yoruba man treasure is in Lagos, The VP do not have a single hut in his village but have house in Lagos, thats is why Ibadan, Abeokuta, Oshogbo, ogbomosho, Akure, and others are nothing but Moribund enclaves..... You are showing pictures of place the whole nation have properties, Igbos, hausa, Yoruba, Edo, Fulani even foreigners ...shame on you. All these edifice in South East are own by Igbos
I am sorry but have you gone through this thread? If you have not,pls do and come back to give me a candid verdict as regards Ibadan vs the five south eastern States as per what they have posted.Ibadan can defend itself anywhere, anytime.I don't even know if you believe that there are Lagosians that do not have any other state to claim apart Lagos and we are in millions... Awori,Epe etc and we are all Yoruba except Egun who are few in number. If I point to something built by my brethren on yorubaland as a Yoruba achievement.., would you say nope?

Estates ?
You have not seen anything yet. Travel out is all I ask, that's when you will know that there are more modern residential buildings in the east than old ones unlike in your places where the old houses dwarf the number of better ones.
High brow Lagos is the only scape goat.
What about your non estates ? Bro, let's leave story.
These Igbo are just the MuMu that Yoruba call them. Only some houses in Ibadan only and all the shit holes you have posted from a whole five south eastern states have been surpassed. If you still have good houses left, post them and I assure you that only a part of Ibadan would floor all.....but I know you don't have anything again, you have posted them all...when facts are shown,Igbos always falling yakata in the presence of Yorubas...lol

That is why you see them all over the South West than anywhere in the world...

the development started with the british.......the british loved living very close to the sea that's why they moved en mass to Lagos......most places on the island and some parts of lagos have english names.......then when the whites left, lagos was made federal capital.....abuja was a bushy area then......abuja is just a definition of what federal might can do to a location........ If the capital were to move to a place like gombe, the same development would take place.....there is no place in the whole of Nigeria that can tran§form its state into an abuja or even lagos and claim that the indigenes developed the place.....not possible......would take a huge amount of capital which would not be sustainable and the state would run into debts

Most of the pictures aresa is showing is eithera church, fastfood or public building. In oojo part of ibadan, typhoid is the order of the day because wells are built beside soakaways.

There are fine places in ibadan but its about 5% of the total size of ibadan.
