More than 10 persons were, on Saturday, killed in a pipeline explosion in KomKom, Oyinbo Council area of Rivers State. According to reports, some engineers had come to carry out repair works on a portion of the pipeline. However, there were spillages and some residents tried to scoop the oil, around 6:30a.m, thus the explosion. A man Identified as Mr Chibuike Timothy Obiajunwa also know as Topman, who hail from Atta kingdom in Ikeduru Imo state Nigeria has defrauded more than 150 Nigerians and some other countries like Ghanaian and cameronians, and left them frustrated in a labour camp and In the street of United Arab Emirates (UAE) in collaboration with a Ghanaian cohort called Godwin James Ebenisa. Mr Timothy is a business man in Dubai who own an African restaurant and also a supermarket at Falcon tower in Ajman. He claims to be the CEO of a security company called Bawat Aisalemiya Security Service aka (BASS SECURITY ) where he collects an amount of 5,000AED (#500,000)naira from each victim for visa deposit and give them a fake offer latter send them to labour camp to wait for the Visa. The total money collected from people as recorded is more than AED150,000 #15,000 000 (15m naira). He is now in police custody for investigation. The occupants of this White Toyota SUV were lucky to get out unhurt after their car hit a truck and tumbled several times in Ikoyi, Lagos. The prompt response of good samaritans including Korede Bello's manager, Casper and another bystander identified as Godwin who helped flip the car over to rescue the victims, saved them. The accident survivor were thereafter treated on the spot by Lagos State emergency response team before they were taken to a hospital in Lagos Island. Nigerian doctor, Obinna Oke has shared a rather unfortunate news of the death of an 18-year-old undergraduate student who died after cutting off his manhood. The name of the victim is yet-to-be made public. According to Dr. Oke, the young man who has been allegedly associating with internet fraudsters and may be one of them used a broken piece of mirror to sever his p*nis. Oke wrote: "Depression is real. His father alluded to the fact that he had been truant from school and mingling with a group of G-plus boys. As he was wheeled to the theatre, he kept shouting 'E no suppose be me. Those wey do done dey Australia now. Why me? Some students of the Lagos State polytechnic, Ikorodu were captured on camera protesting the toll gate fee in Lekki. The students while coming back from popular tourist attraction, Lekki Conservation Centre, came down from their bus and began chanting “Ko so wo toll gate”. Before entering, they’d paid the sum of 400 naira while going in, but decided to protest and refused to pay again, while leaving the city. They were later granted free passage out of the city.
