PoliticsOshiomoles Apology Not Accepted!!! by robedu(op): 2:54pm On Nov 29, 2013
I read on vanguard that Oshiomole has apologized to the woman he abused with words.

The only way Nigerian women (me inclusive) will accept Oshiomole's apology is if he build a shop for the woman he ordered his thugs to abuse, Oshiomole also have to buy goods worth 10 times the one they destroy from that woman under his watchful eye and authority, then we can start thinking of forgiving him for now, his apology is not accepted -

EducationEnough Is Enuogh ASUU by robedu(op): 4:10pm On Nov 28, 2013
My fellow citizen of Nigeria, student and loved ones, i think it is high time we come closer as one to decide what happen to the future of our siblings , friends and children, i am not here to praise the FG or accuse them, i am only here to say that ASUU has gone too far in elongating the strike.
When you take a look at their demands i did not see much of student interest but all allowances for themselves. And when you take a look at their demand there is nowhere in the world where lecturers are paid such demands, that aside i am not saying that the FG should not pay them what they promise. I am only on the ground that ASUU has gone too far by saying the FG should clear their 4 months' salary at once before they resume work, we understand that it is their right for those salaries to be paid but saying it has to be paid immediately is totally out of track.
Considering the fact that the so call lecturers are not even too committed to student success, if you had school in Nigeria, you will understand how lecturers behave like gods in the class room, do what and anything they like and collect bribery to fail or pass student.
On this ground, we want the lecturers to over look somethings and get back to class room.
Enough is Enough for ASUU, spread the word

PoliticsWhat We Owe Nigeria by robedu(op): 11:37am On Oct 02, 2013
Yesterday i watched loads of Black Berry Display Pictures, Facebook post and messages, emails and Twitter tweets, Blog post etc.

If i was to number them, i think there were more of mockery, complains and criticism, alot of art works, designs and graphics were created to destroy the image of Nigeria, none actually got me very upset like the one my own brother put up, which reads Nigeria Report Card (thank God he was my elder if not i would have given him the slap of his entire life).
I want to specially use this medium to thank all those who used their creativity and knowledge to design something good, prophesy positively into the life of this country.

On a serious note, I am not saying that Nigeria is the best black country to live in, neither i'm i saying that our politicians have kept to their words, we have issues, loads of issues, to start with, i visit mechanic workshop every month to fix one thing or the other caused by bad roads on my car, i get tension each time i had to swing on a pot hole on the road, my cousins doesn't have jobs and can't afford three square meals, most times i see police collect little bribes on the road sides, our LASTMA (Lagos State Traffic Management Authority) sometimes ignore offenders who have paid previously and most time they become very arrogant to people who just missed a very little line, have seen them lie against somebody who didnt cross red light and beat up drivers for just no reason. I'm not 100% at peace in the night because there is always an arm robber event close to my street almost every quarter and the local market close to my street is too dirty. We don't have 24 hours light and i can go on and on.

We have shouted at our politicians, we have fought, we have criticized them, we took to social media to cause our voice to be heard, we have run social campaign against corruption, we have abused and cursed them and their families, we have used all sort of bad sentences and words on them even though most of them aren't our age mate. But the bitter question is, did this help us in anyway, did all these change our situation?

In a business school, i will not forget Mr. Nathaniel Adebayo, he used to tell us, if you apply a particular approach in solving a problem for a year and it's isn't working, try another, there are many ways to solve simultaneous equation and i do also believe that there is always another approach to solving a problem.

If we have been doing all these things and it didn't work, don't you think that it is high time we change gear to doing something else even if it's for a year to see if it works.

And by the way i think we are also contributing to Nigeria's problem, if at all God is answering our prayers then we have caused this country so much pain and bad luck, with our mouth, post and comment we have destroyed Nigeria because if it is not well with our Government (i.e. people in authority) it can never be well with Nigeria.

Pardon me if you are a muslim, because my quote is always going to be culled from the Christian Bible - my Bible tells me that anything we bind on earth will be bind in heaven and that our tongue has the power to destroy and to build, why then have we used our mouth to destroy our own leaders, government and nation, maybe the reason why our leaders are not doing well is due to our curses and negative prophesy on them.

And the funny and unbelieveable truth is, each time we post negative things about Nigeria on the internet, the word spreads and international media get it from us and build opinions, at the end of the day we the citizens are the most affected, Government officials and their children will never be deny VISA, it is US who are going to be screened twice, thrice and maybe the fourth time before we board an Int'l flight, we are the ones suffering from our reactions, we are the ones that is not trusted, we are the loosers at all times, Government officials have int'l credit cards so they can use paypal, we're the one with Nigerian cards who can't shop online, to me my dear citizens we're the fools.

What can we do differently to help ourselves, i think 1st and formost we need to start selling positive Nigeria to the world, pray for Nigeria and it's government, bless our leaders in all our doings and prayers, work harder, think positively, be satisfy with the little we can afford, change our mindset and by so doing, one thing is very sure - Nigeria will be far more better, good LEADERS or not. LET'S DO THIS FOR AT LEAST A YEAR AND SEE IF NOTHING CHANGE

WE OWE NIGERIA, PRAYERS, HARD WORK, LOVE AND RESPECT.

Signed: Roberta Edu

FashionMen How Fashionable Are You? - Testing Centre by robedu(op): 11:43am On Sep 25, 2013
This fashion thing sometimes looks like it's just for the female folks and most times it feel difficult to know what goes for the male folks.

When i want to go out with my boy friend, he's always like, baby i'm i ok? does this go? and so on, once it's ok in my eyes i'll just say its ok, my boy friend depends on me because most of the time he sees that i have a very good dress sense and also i advise my sisters and any female around me on what to put on or what to combine, but little did he know that all i know is female fashion, i don't really understand this men dressing thing.

Have started searching the net for some tips but none has been quite simple and interesting like the one i just saw today, Adora Oleh brought Nigeria's Fashion Icon Emmy Collins to her show and his analysis was just amazing, i never knew my boyfriend has been on the wrong side of the dressing law until i watch - tune in and test your dressing skills lol www.twotv.net

Today, i watch this series where the lady went as far as appointing the sister-inlaw to be her chief bride made, cooking and having dinner with her but what did she get? maybe she wouldn't have treated the case that way maybe she was right or maybe she should have kept her distance. you are the judge of this case - tune in www.twotv.net

EntertainmentWONDERS!!! Farming TV Show by robedu(op): 9:47am On Aug 28, 2013
The usual view of tv shows and series we get is over powdered people, sitting on lovely chairs with bright and beautiful background, talking to only celebrities and people in power.

But we discover a show whose interest and characteristics spans beyond feeding us with celebrity news, or sitting in a beautiful environment but going deep into the farm, enriching our lives, teaching one how to make food, how to farm, how to make our fruit in our little garden or big farming more fruitful, it is a practical live series

There has never been a show more interesting in Africa as Shamba Shape Up http://www.twotv.net/shamba-shape-up-mango-farming-hand-pump-and-chicken/
