Lol, Much Ado About Nothing. If you know how porous African borders are eh, you will understand that the soldiers most probably lost their ways after a tactical mission close to the Nigerian border, and will soon re-enter Cameroon. I remember back in 2016, during my UNN days, when myself and fellow students and a local ministry organized a missionary/aid-delivery journey to Berekete on the Nigerian-Cameroonian border. We left Nsukka around 9:AM in a convoy of 3 buses loaded with food, medicines, clothes, and other essentials for the locals, and got to Obudu Cattle Ranch around 7:PM, where we camped for the night. Then around noon the next day, we took taxis to the peak of the Obudu mountains. Believe me, that 17 mins drive has the most beautiful scenery in this world. Then for the next 12/13 hours, we hiked our way on foot through thick jungles, mountains, streams, and waterfalls. At some point, we lost our way in the dark and almost entered Cameroon. It was one of our local guides that pointed to a small stream and told us, "don't cross that stream oo, or you're in Cameroon " lt was my most memorable trip sha, l learnt a whole lot about how big this country really is and how good it pays to do good!!!

I don’t even know where to start from, but I’ll try to be as honest as possible because I truly need help and direction.

There was a time my life made sense. I ran a good business, had staff working with me, and things were stable. I wasn’t rich, but I was comfortable and hopeful. I had plans. I had structure.

Then everything changed.

My two offices were demolished by the government due to road expansion. Just like that. No proper recovery plan, no real compensation that could help me restart meaningfully. Overnight, I lost my base, my daily operations, and the structure I had built over time.

Since then, it has been one struggle after another.

I tried to bounce back. I really did. Different ideas, different small ventures, different approaches… but nothing has worked. In fact, the more I tried to stand strong again, the more I kept losing the little strength and money I had left.

It got to a point where I started questioning myself.

Maybe I’m the problem.
Maybe I’ve lost my touch.
Maybe I don’t even understand life again.

I’ve applied for jobs—both within my level and even below it—just to have something stable to hold on to, but nothing has come through. Rejections, silence, or no response at all.

Spiritually, I have not been sleeping.

I have fasted.
I have prayed.
I have sought counselling.
