I enquired about how they managed the farm, and they explained they change the water once everyweek but the challange they have is that the fishes get sick most times resulting to the death of thousands...

Now because of this style of pond any bacteria,fungai or parasite present will surely spread round the entire pond and ultimately affect the fishes, unlike demacated concrete pond where its not entirely all the ponds that will be effected..

Let me share with you guys my experience of the farm I went to consult for at P.H..

When I got there I was short of words, the pond was built in the form of gutter and it was built all round the farm... I was amazed because I have never seen such type of pond style before..

One of the constrains of the pond type is that they spend money on fuel just to change water and also pumping in water..

BADNEAT: I won't lie ooo...I'll rather give 1/10 of my money to the visibly needy who have no hopes of feeding and clothing than for me to carry it to any any church to give to a pastor. ..that doesn't mean I can't contribute or donate when my church is in need. .buh to d pay 1/10 of my salary to a pastor who is changing his car every year and lives in a mansion while I'm still in my 3bedroom flat will not only be stupid but i'l deserve to be severely punished by God who created me, gave me a brain a conscience and a heart. ...its really surprising to my own maniacal bewilderment that people should be debating on this. ..the state at which nigerians and human beings are looking for money this days is rather appalling.
U see 7 churches in one street shouting ontop of their voices with megaphones. .all in d name of serving CHrist and I ask why not come together and merge together since its one God that is being served but how can they when everybody ani pastor is looking for what will enter his own pocket. ..they see it as a business enterprise. .working tirelessly for the growth of their individual churches. ..I cry for those who hv been enslaved and brainwashed into such conclave...we are in the end time...the hand writing is everywhere. .may God open our eyes...

Now listen, whether you believe it or not, it doesnt change a thing. Whether you pay tithe or not doesnt affect God's servants. They will still live in stupendous plenty.
Offering and thiting isnt an old testament law, it is God's principle of expanding they that apply it.
"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much..." - Luke 16:10

The principle to recieving plenty is to be faithful in the little wages, salary, income you earn. Notice, He didnt say "generous". He said "Faithful". That means, You arnt doing God a favour, You are giving Him what is His. Giving Him what is His is what gives you what is yours in Christ

The bible says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge hosea 4v6.. Instead of us to apply simple kingdom principle for financial blessing we keep ignoring it, and this is the only WAY God can bless us financilally..

I was also among the bandwagon criticising this wealthy men of God, but later I thought about it that I was broke but I was criticising those that have made it.. I later changed my orientation to apply kingdom principle.. I started paying my tithe gradually with my small income back then, sowing seeds, gradually God started increasing my capacity to give more..
I aint bragging but right now I know how much I pay as tithe..

My brother there is no cause for alarm.. I also made loss too sometimes past, but its now ur responsibility to identify where u have made an error eihter from the fingerlings u bought(runts) , your management techniques and your feeding formular and regimes..

U have to stand up tall now and start right from the scratch, we are all here to assist one another.. Just get back to the drawing board and analyse where u got it wrong and make no room for further mistakes.. With all the numerous info on this thread you are good to make a bumper harvest..

Hello good people, I am very much impressed by what I have seen so far on this thread, the info dashed out on this thread is priceless..

We have really made this thread a success by saving peoples investment from collapse.. I constantly receive mails from individuals,home and abroad thanking me for putting up the thread with its priceless info..

I also receive another set of mails from april till date from 43 different farmers excluding the ones from my training who have experience HUGE losses from lack of info on fish farming.. And I feel their pains because I have been in their shoes sometimes past when I was making losses too.. But I thank God they have retraced their steps by following advices from experts on this thread..

Let me say it is a TABOO for any fish farmer following this thread to make a loss with all this info being given out on this thread.. If you have read the thread from the first page till date then there is absolutely no reason for u to make a loss..

Knowledge is infinite, I still learn a lot from this thread and I marvel at how much I have learnt from april till date.. I employ fish farmers to step up, we have all it takes to succeed, there is no room for excuses..

I want specially thank the experts who have contributed in helping people with valid info, u guys have really changed investments from crashing.. I remember when I went to a church for an annointing service.. As the service was going on I felt something hit me like an electric volt, I resisted it because back then as a guy man I been they claim tupac "thug life" and all those things stuff..

It depends on how fast it gets dirty.. Sometimes once in one or two months.. Algae forms when the pond is not shaded from direct sunlight..

practicalclass: MY FISH STORY:
I have a pond which I divided into two, one measuring about 7ft x 5ft x 6ft the other 7ft x 3ft x 6ft. I put juveniles I'm both ponds. In the larger pond, the fishes are doing well infact I need to sort them as the big fishes are terrorising the small fishes. I would have loved to sort them using the smaller pond as housing for the small size fishes but this I can't because the fishes I put in this small pond has been dieing. About 40 deaths so far. I have changed the water several times, put 1500gms (though I don't know if this was enough) and now I've had to remove the remaining fishes to wash the pond thoroughly. So much algae formed in the pond and I had to wash everything off. I've got this feeling that something polluted the pond and the fishes became infected. I'm thinking of getting multivitamins for the fishes left to boost their immunity and put some of the fishes in the bigger pond where the fishes there are doing fine.

Too much algae can cause disease outbreak in a pond.. You should try and wash your pond more often to prevent disease..

40 mortality is very high,that is to say there is an epidemic.. Its a good thing u washed the pond, and you should observe them diligently for some days and. Kindly get back to us if the death persist so as to know the next course of action.. God bless
