Never, Christianity is a way of perfect lifestyle which focuses on doing good.

The world can't not survive if lawlessness is allowed, same applied to the creator of the universe Himself.

Christianity started merely 2000 years ago only around 600 years ago did it spread to corners of the earth. If you say Christianity is perfect and brings about lawfulness, why are there ills in the society today? In the churches? Also what happened in other societies before the advent of Christianity? Unlawfulness? According to who? You?
Muslims, Buddhist and Judaist also assume theirs is a way of perfect lifestyle. Who is the fool then?

Well, what if hell is real and you're an atheist? undecided

So being an atheist means the person is evil or possessed? What about Muslims? Judaists? Buddhist? So they are all going to hell? Even inside the Christianity, how many adhere to your own view not to talk of follow it? trust me only you and your family are going to heaven.

Condemnation is the order of the day in Christianity.

Christians, Muslims, have you ever stopped to think, what will happen to the Muslims and Christians and other person who do not believe in Jesus, Allah, if only Christians or Muslims are saved? What happened to our fathers who were faithfully traditional? Will God condemn them? according to the bible, Quran, Yes! but is he not a loving father to all his children? Has any Muslim, Christian, ever been good to you? what will happen to them? Why are there so many religion in the world today? What makes yours right and theirs wrong? A book? Who gave you that book? Who are the authors of that book? Is A book the final authority?

Have you ever read a convincing story book or article? Have you ever imagined that your book could be fable? or something written by clever people? Why is there a divide even in our own religion? Does God, Allah love division? Why is there commotion even in our churches, mosques? Why is there so much suffering in this world? why has the world not ended?, truth be told everything happening today happened sometime before, so do not chant 'end times' that our parents' parents have been chanting?

Religion! Why do you believe everything you are told without thinking? You were made to believe your faith means believing everything without doubting? but if you do not doubt how would you believe? look at what religion has caused? 'because it is ancient, so it is true' we have been fed with so much lies and superstition from our leaders, our people, from media, it looks believable.

Step out from your bondage for one day and think, research, you would be truly free.

Nigerian's I weep for my country!
Everyone has abandoned logical reasoning in the name of religion
See the so called Christians condemning 'the sinner'
You have all been blinded by your guilt
'Man of God', who appointed him? more like business man of God
'The bible said this' where did the bible come from?
Keep being foolish and keep enriching your business man of God, it is hard to leave what we were brought up with. Look at yourself and look around you, can't you see what is happening? We have all abandoned progress for religion. You will pass a hungry man and then feed your over fed pastors. Lay on the ground with your dirty clothes for your pastors with clean shoes to walk over. Imagine if we spent all the time and money we spend in our churches in doing something positive in this world, No! we have clouded or vision because 'you want to make heaven'. Sheep! your heaven awaits you indeed.
Religion / Re: Will The Church Accept Efe's N2.5Million Tithe? by Robynwelo1(f): 12:53am On May 07, 2017
HEBREW 7
This “Melchizedek, king of Salem and
priest of God Most High,” “met
Abraham as he returned from his defeat
of the kings” and “blessed him.”
And Abraham apportioned to him “a
tenth of everything.” His name first
means righteous king, and he was also
“king of Salem,” that is, king of peace.
Without father, mother, or ancestry,
without beginning of days or end of life,
thus made to resemble the Son of God,
he remains a priest forever.
See how great he is to whom the patriarch “Abraham [indeed] gave a tenth” of his
spoils.
The descendants of Levi who receive the
office of priesthood have a
commandment according to the law to
exact tithes from the people, that is, from
their brothers, although they also have
come from the loins of Abraham.
But he who was not of their ancestry
received tithes from Abraham and
blessed him who had received the
promises.
Unquestionably, a lesser person is
blessed by a greater.
In the one case, mortal men receive
tithes; in the other, a man of whom it is
testified that he lives on.
One might even say that Levi himself,
who receives tithes, was tithed through
Abraham,
for he was still in his father’s loins when
Melchizedek met him.
If, then, perfection came through the levitical priesthood, on the basis of which the
people received the law, what need would there still have been for another priest to
arise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not reckoned according to the order
of Aaron?
When there is a change of priesthood,
there is necessarily a change of law as
well.

Now he of whom these things are said
belonged to a different tribe, of which
no member ever officiated at the altar.
It is clear that our Lord arose from
Judah, and in regard to that tribe
Moses said nothing about priests.
It is even more obvious if another
priest is raised up after the likeness of
Melchizedek,
who has become so, not by a law
expressed in a commandment
concerning physical descent but by the
power of a life that cannot be destroyed.
For it is testified:
“You are a priest forever
according to the order of Melchizedek.”
On the one hand, a former commandment is annulled because of its weakness and
uselessness,
for the law brought nothing to
perfection; on the other hand, a better
hope is introduced, through which we
draw near to God.
And to the degree that this happened
not without the taking of an oath —for
others became priests without an oath,
but he with an oath, through the one who
said to him:
“The Lord has sworn, and he will not
repent:
‘You are a priest forever’”—
to that same degree has Jesus [also] become the guarantee of an [even] better
covenant.
Those priests were many because they
were prevented by death from
remaining in office,
but he, because he remains forever, has
a priesthood that does not pass away.
Therefore, he is always able to save
those who approach God through him,
since he lives forever to make
intercession for them.
It was fitting that we should have such a high priest: holy, innocent, undefiled,
separated from sinners, higher than the heavens.
He has no need, as did the high priests,
to offer sacrifice day after day, first
for his own sins and then for those of the
people; he did that once for all when he
offered himself

For the law appoints men subject to
weakness to be high priests, but the word
of the oath, which was taken after the
law, appoints a son, who has been made
perfect forever.

READ THE BOLDED OPEN MINDEDLY(it is not a sin)
Jesus the high priest never collected tithes nor did he teach his followers to tithe or collect tithes, why should you be bound by the old law when Jesus has paid the debt?
And he gave us a new command, Love your neighbour as yourself.

Sylverofficial:
Use ur Bible Malach:3vs10 down wards plz

MALACHI is the OLD testament! Tithing was a very important command then, why did Jesus not list it in his command?
1. Tithing were for the Israelites (strictly). No other tribes were allowed to tithe. You are not an Israelite
2. ONLY the Levite's were allowed to collect tithes, they were specifically a chosen people(priests) by God to collect tithes.
3. That was a mosaic law. The new law of Christ is strictly LOVE! Once a new prophet(law), the High Priest comes, the old one passes away, he paid all our debts.
4. The widow did not give 10%, she gave her ALL! it was not the money Jesus was impressed with, it was her attitude. Jesus wants us to give our all to him and our fellow man.
5. The Early Christians and Apostles NEVER collected or paid tithes. It all began with Protestantism.
6. The Jews right now do not even pay tithes anymore. Christian pastors are now the ones collecting tithes. Before you start chanting MALACHI! go and prepare your burnt offering and you must eat it oh!

NOBODY should EVER say, they are not giving tithe to the pastor, it is God. Are you a sheep? Is you pastor a levite? Are you an Israelite? You are being deceived! Your pastor does not know sheeple(actually most of them know this, but business comes first). They are building mansions and private jets and their congregations are scrapping their mud houses to pay tithes. You are free, but in bondage. Be Wise, Start thinking with your head. Smh....people are on the streets dying and you are feeding your pastor. Abeg borrow wisdom.

Hebrew 7 should do it for you, or else...

Another question. When you get posted to wherever for you PPA, and are rejected, do you look for any other place to accept you or do you go back to the state coordinator to get you posted somewhere else? cry

I think you should take it one step at a time. I want to believe you've secured a job. If you haven't you should start working on it. I got a format from NL some months back. Just Google it & include NL while googling. By the way you don't need to tell them. As soon as you inform them about the request letter, they'll then ask you to either go compose it yourself or not worry.

Deducing from some of what you wrote i guess we're both sailing on the same boat. Did you choose Lagos?

Yeah, I chose Lagos and an Aunt that works with NYSC is helping me out with it. She also asked that I find a place in Lagos where I want to serve so she can help. I chose Ajah, because I have relatives there willing to accommodate me. I would like to be double sure I would be posted there, so I want to go there a week before camp, to get a request letter from a firm or ministry, but I will settle for a school if I don't have one. But I just want to make sure I get posted to Ajah.

I was told it's usually not that easy especially if it has to do with private companies in Lagos. They sort of favour public ministries and schools (private or public) when it comes to requesting for posting.
Your allawee would be paid irrespective of whether the organization where you are posted to pays you or not.
Yes you are free to walk up to any place. Na wetin u get for mouth go determine whether dem go fit assist you.
Lastly, there's a format for writing the request letter.

Thank you very much! Do you know where I can get the format, and am I to tell them how to write the letter?
NYSC / Re: NYSC 2017 Batch A Corps Members House by Robynwelo1(f): 8:08pm On Apr 29, 2017
Please, pertaining to the request letter, does it have a particular format? Also can you walk up to any company, school or ministry and ask you want to serve there if you are sure of your posting to the state. Will you also be given your state allowance if you are posted there. I would like to get a request letter from a company in Ajah, Lagos. How possible is it?

I've heard about delay in confirmation for people who paid via bank but I think mine has passed the normal na. Or is it how it normally is? Please someone help me out with a reply.

The remitta email is almost immediately sent after payment, so that is not a given. Click 'get status' on your payment status and wait for it to reflect approved and your complete details. For some reason I think clicking 'get status' makes processing faster. You can do that with your phone. it will definitely reflect tomorrow so exercise a little patience afterwards
