Akwa ibom is oil money without oil it can't survive. The igr is based on oil companies, same with Rivers

Lagos can survive wholeheartedly

No it can't if oil money goes, the economy goes too, the tax goes too. Many industries supporting or not will fold. The few one's remaining(non oil - beverages, breweries, foods etc) will have low patronage. The fact is if oil stops Nigeria collapses. This is why Buhari closed border so that we can look inwards and develop things that are not oil dependant.

Politics / Re: Has APC Forgiven Orji Kalu For His ₦7.6bn Alleged Fraud? by Rochas2023: 5:24am On Oct 19, 2019
samueloduoye:
Former governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu, is among politicians who have pitched their tent with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to escape the rod of the anti-corruption war. It will be remembered that his old colleague, Godswill Akpabio, was moving near jail until he left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2018.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is reportedly prosecuting Kalu, along with a former state Commissioner for Finance, Udeh Udeogu, and his company, Slok Nigeria Limited, for the alleged fraud on an amended 39 counts.

To bring this to bear, a Network for the Advancement of Good Governance (NAGG) recently protested the delayed trial of the former Abia North Senator. He has been in the EFCC’s net over alleged ₦7.6bn fraud, against them since 12 years ago.

What they don't realize is if you allow the North win with an SE or SS vice in 2023, South should kiss that seat goodbye, they will simply choose another vice from SW next time. Before you know it in future when they've completely colonized the government they can simply do away with South vice. And do it North President North vice president. Don't say it's not possible it is. 15 yrs ago if they told u that one day there will be Muslim gov and Muslim deputy in Kaduna and still win election you won't have agreed. He who controls the government, Inec, Military etc controls almost everything

Bros Obasanjo has already used the SW slot.If the SW contests the 2023 presidency then they have no moral right not to ask the north not to contest. On what basis exactly will the SW ask the north not to contest

Good question. Greediness of the SW is what will make the Core north rule for 100yrs. God forbid.

Politics / Re: Why Are Most Developed Countries Monolingual?? by Rochas2023: 6:51am On Oct 12, 2019
Kinematics:
Development is beyond language. The culture of the people matters a lot. Most developed countries have almost same culture. Once the way of life is similar, development or recession moves faster.

Being monolingual has a role to play, but not as influential as the culture of the people. Same culture, same goals, same values.

If the culture is good then development comes faster. Japan is a good example. The advancement in the Japanese society is beyond language, but the way of life(Culture) of the people.

In Africa especially. Until we change our way of life and do away with some archaic believes, we shall remain underdeveloped.
If we like let the whole naija or Africa speak one language, as long as we still have our believes and way of life we shall remain the way we are.

Yes culture is the key, many people take pride in culture. To solve this the big ethnic group should be willing to adopt one tradition each from the smaller minorities

This will make the minorities not to fill that there are being swallowed or that their culture will die off. It will get a bond of trust.

Obasanjo and Goatluck Jonathan spent a combined total of 14 years in Aso Rock, yet Lagos-Ibadan expressway was abandoned, Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway was abandoned, 2nd Niger Bridge was commissioned on drawing board, East-West road became a spiritual road that can never be completed. Diezani Alisson-Maduekwe got $40 million jewelries in one house, we don't know how much more in others houses, imPatience Jonathan lost over 3 billion naira worth of jewelries to her assistants, we don't know how much more she has.

Yet, you think Northerners are you problems. That your problems will continue for ever.

No the Northerners are not the problem sir.

Almost all the heads of were from the North, and no one stole more than they stole.

Obj and gej despite their flaws did remarkable things GSM, BVN, TSA etc.

Buhari is doing his best especially on infrastructure.

So 8yrs for the north to fix infrastructure
8 yrs for the South to be creative and Innovate positive things
