Igbos are not interested in presidency. We need restructuring. Simple and short.

The north and south west that have held the presidency between themselves since independence are shitholes riddled with crime, terrorism, illiteracy and poor quality of life.

Edwin Clark should not use Igbos to be popular now biko. Same Edwin Clark we heard fought against Peter Odili becoming President in 2007 because he was Igbo

Sharap Igbos are fully interested in presidency. If you know the type of power a president has

North large landmass - great agricultural potential yet they can't exploit it cus of oil. Over 67.6 percent of food we eat is imported.

West- Small landmass - Good commerce n industry cus of Lagos and Ogun =tax. Small oil cus of Ondo- Not as developed as it should. Cus the money they are getting is being shared with the rest of the country. Potential- Cash crops esp Cocoa

South South- the heart of Nigeria,- Oil, industries yet they are still not developed as it should, cus the get to share everything with the rest of the country. Potential - Cash crops especially Palm tree

East- Smaller landmass - commerce and industry plus a little bit of oil, and the largest reserve of natural gas in the country, tax especially on breweries. They are still not developed as they ought to, cus the little they get is being shared with rest of the country. Potential = cash crops Palm trees, Cashew trees and Cocoa

The question?
Who or what region is the rest of the country?

With the way the Northern population is growing, one male having multiple wives, 12 children in one household (most die before they reach adulthood) if Southern Nigeria wants to secure it's future (so you can go ahead and do your family planning in peace) zoning on presidency should be in our constitution. The next Southern president should make it the first thing he does.

Politics / Re: North’s 2023 Dream A Big Joke And A Threat To African Progress! by Rochas2023: 7:50pm On Sep 29, 2019
kufre2010:
NORTH’S 2023 DREAM A BIG JOKE AND A THREAT TO AFRICAN PROGRESS!

Nigerian politicians are busy scheming for the 2023 presidency like all that matters in leadership is occupying the presidential office and personalizing other high places in the political stratosphere with the sole aim of bleeding the economy into their selfish pockets. Northern Nigerian politicians as the dominant specie of political Nigeria’s elites have been spitting and threatening to plant one of their own in Aso Rock after the expiration of Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure. It is interesting to note that the same ‘Zoning’ which Northern politicians emphasized as just and legitimate for producing Nigeria’s president is now being regarded by them as an unreliable formula in the face of the fact that ‘Zoning’ in 2023 will favor the presidency’s shift to the South, precisely the South-West, South-South and or South-East. Who do they think they are? Nigeria’s owners?

I advise Northern politicians not to take Maharaj Ji’s simplicity and seemingly silent disposition to Nigeria’s sustained political ghettorization by them and their littering Southern pones for granted! Maharaj Ji has been the one guiding and protecting Nigeria spiritually to its present stage. As the current Supreme Light of Creation, the devious games and criminal plans of Northern politicians against Nigeria’s progress and existence are all known and it is on the basis of My unwavering Divine commitment to protect and salvage Nigeria from their satanic agenda, as co-scripted and approved by Britain and Saudi Arabia, both being their principal external cohorts, that I have allowed Nigeria to evolve in a way that appears to them as evidence of their invincibility. Evolution as against revolution stands-out as the appropriate route to guide booty-trapped Nigeria through to its destined shore of grace and glory. The option of revolution plays straight into the Annihilation Plan of the Northern political oligarchy against Nigeria!

Now that Nigeria has been successfully guided off the war-trap set by elite never-do-wells of Northern Nigeria with the ignorant support of neo-colonialist Southerners who are unaware that their minds are being conditioned and manipulated to go to war to enable the Europeans to re-colonize the country again. I advise them to stop sniffing the glue and to also stop drinking the codeine that gets them high into believing that Nigeria is their birthright and leprosy centre! Enough is enough! How much power do they have over death? Do they know what life is and what it is truly worth? Is any of them IBB, El-Rufai, Abdulsalam, Tanko Yakassai, Bukola Saraki, Myetti Allah, El-Zakzaky, Ali Modu Sheriff to mention but few, sure of being alive in 2023?

Instead of focusing on how to reduce Nigeria’s mountainous and disgraceful problems, all they commit their time and energy to is the presidency – how to occupy it until extinct Mohammed comes knocking! Our children are suffering and getting increasingly angry! They are taking up extreme crimes to put food on their tables and to put clothes on their backs! Our workers are working more for less, unable to fend for their families adequately with the paltry salary they are paid by a system that feeds politicians increasingly fatter with money meant for public welfare. Hospitals are insufficient in number. The ones available are under-equipped. People go there for cure and are swallowed by death! What a tragedy!

Our schools are now brothels where randy men go to shop for prostitutes. Indeed, our daughters now sell their virtue to buy books and food at school! Our sons are now deadly kidnappers, desperate and avid subscribers to blood-rituals for money-making! What about the police and soldiers that politicians use to capriciously maim and kill Nigerians protesting against their demonic governance? Are they well-catered for?

Patience is running out on all politicians who believe that God is either asleep or is their cohort. Soon the demonism and witchcraft that drives their spirit against unity, peace, progress and happiness in Nigeria will be arrested by Maharaj Ji and the world will know who is actually who! Nigeria will not be raped and ruined forever! The country destined to lead Africa and the world in the emerging Golden Age of global peace and abundance for all cannot be robbed eternally. No condition is permanent!

As for serpentine behaviors of certain African leaders and politicians like those who are diverting public money meant for public utilities and developmental projects for private use and forcing us on the road for fifteen (15) hours on a journey of 70 Kilometers and who are opposing laws for the common good of the people for their personal interests, crawling from coven to mosque and the church in their satanic commitment to keeping us rotten and wretched, I remind them that no matter how big or poisonous a snake is, it cannot escape ‘disgrace’ when its time of tyrannical presence in the wrong place expires. I advise politicians of their kind spread across Nigeria and Africa to leave the people alone before it’s too late for them to cry and beg. A word is enough for the wise. I have close to a thousand speaking to them here!

My Love and Blessings
SATGURU MAHARAJ JI
(LIVING PERFECT MASTER)

What point exactly are you trying to make? You think sidelining the Vice President is enough to give the schemers control over the party? Who even told you PDP will field a northern candidate when Wike is willing to contest in 2023? Go and write it down today, PDP will zone its ticket to the south and APC will do the same.

Any attempt to zone APC ticket to the north will lead to serious implosion in the party. APC cannot win the presidential election without the south west. PDP with any kind of candidate will easily defeat an APC without south west support. The real party leaders from all zones know this and won’t allow the party to go the way of 2015 PDP.

The idea that south east PDP is willing to support a northerner as the party candidate in 2023 is very funny. To what end if I may ask? If you guys truly want the presidency, 2023 offers a great chance to fight for it. Fight for what you want irrespective of what south west is doing. If the east refused to present serious candidates to contest for PDP ticket, nobody will take you serious again. In addition, you will have no ground to ask for concession in the future.

As far as the south west is concerned, we are going to battle for APC ticket. We’ve build enough coalition within the party that can secure us the ticket. We will not chicken out out of fear or openly declare for the north out of spite like some of you easterners are doing. If we fail to get the ticket, we will evaluate our position and make our decision based on pragmatism. We are fully prepared for whatever happens in 2023.

Lol, why didn't SW compete with GEJ if SW were so mighty? See the north have shown they can win any election with the support of just single zone in South. They don't need you if they can get either SE or ss. So chill 2023 will be interesting.

How can the SE get the required support from the same North you and your kins men abuse and call all manners of names on a daily basis? So they’re no longer herdsmen and terrorists ? What of your islamaphobia? undecided
The average Northerner will rather support the SW over the SE. quote me anymore. cool

If the two major parties brings out SE one will win it. The northerners will vote them. It will be the same scenario between Atiku vs Buhari were nieighter were particularly loved in the South but the South voted for them nonetheless. Both were from the same tribe.

The mistake any party will make is to bring out greedy SW, otherwise say bye bye to southern president.

eazzzy1:

First, these 2 parties are in the election to win. If APC zones to SE it is most likely to lose because the SE will definitely vote for the PDP candidate and the SW will be divided like it was against buhari and Atiku and the north will be divided too. It’s a risk the APC can not afford to take.

Secondly you are thinking the APC choice of candidate will inform the PDP, so the PDP will sit around undecided till the APC chooses her candidate? You know that’s not true. From 2021 both parties would have known who they want to support.

Thirdly, the APC isn’t zoning it’s candidate to the Southwest, it is zoning it to the south, all major players will then contest in a primary and most likely a southwesterner will emerge.

PDp will wait until APC concluded it zoning that's a fact. The next Southern president is SE fact. Whether it's 2023 or 8 years later.

The Igbos in APC are not fools, they know they don’t have the numbers and support. APC fielding an Igbo candidate is a way of telling the PDP to take over power. If the APC fields an Igbo candidate and PDP fields a northern or Yoruba candidate, the Igbo candidate will lost all SE states.

Charity begins at home, the candidate being presented must have the support of his people. The North has ruled for 8 years, any attempt by the PDP to zone its ticket to the north will be met with strict rejection by the south westerners in PDP.

The Southwest will poach the south south, assure them of their support for vp when power returns to the north. The major reason Igbos hate APC is because of Buhari, they will be more accommodating of a southern candidate, meaning Osibanjo will get more votes in the SE than Bihari did, he will clear the votes in the SW, he stands a high chance in the North and SS too.

I can assure you the PDP won’t be stupid enough to zone it’s ticket to the north, the kind of mass defection that will follow will see APGA coming second in the general election.

It's simple if APC zones it to SE getting pdp to zone to SE is simple. If APC zone to SW, PDp will zone to North it is very simple. Whatever you say is either SE or no southern president.

RichDad1:

Keep dreaming. Unless you lots swallow your pride , the Presidency will continue to elude you.
If a may ask, what’s greed about SW demanding the Presidential ticket from the North after supporting them to 2 terms? As at today, SW has 5 APC Governors and 1 PDP Governor.
The SE has 4 PDP Governors with 1 from APGA.
Even a slowpoke knows where each regions loyalties lies.
Continue to eat crumbs from your darling PDP, while the SW enjoy whatever they get from the APC.
cool

Those Igbos in APC are what fools? See the next southern president will be Igbo, otherwise let Fulani continue ruling after all SW will first suffer it before SE. Cus SW is closer to North if all fulanis decide to settle in Nigeria let it be.

Zoning is North and South, Chairman.
Nobody will zone the presidency to your village.
You will have to man up and fight for it like all men do when they want something important.
The PDP was the only truly national party then. Olu Falae’s AD was never quite of National spread.
Even when Obasanjo contested in PDP, Ekwueme and Alabo Douglas contested against him. So the so called zoning was not to the SW, it was to the South.

I Know you know that Obj and the current President didn't fight for shit during primaries, everything has already been concluded behind the scene the primaries was just for show.

Can’t say too much so I’m not outed but I’ve run into several educated Fulani from Gambia and Senegal that moved here to Abuja since Buhari came into power.
Added to the Ruga and the Fulani bandits from Chad & Mali that people have seen who don’t speak Hausa but French, I think there is an open sesame akin to Optimus Prime’s searchlight to the Autobots hiding in the Galaxy that Buhari sent to his people across Africa upon taking power: “ Come to Nigeria”
That’s why he appointed all the security people from the North to force this down our throat. The Southerner that gets there next must do the same. Zero Northerners in the security apparatus and relocation of security infrastructure to the South!
See this thief Bala Mohammed that stole billions with his sons opening his mouth to share the rest of the money with non-Nigerians.
Money that is made not from their state but from the South.
I swear any Southerner that is masochistic enough to front another Northerner after this pestilence called Buhari is gone should be shot.
