This is a serious and difficult battle for FG. I doubt if our amphibious brigade of the army and the navy can fight this guys, they are very experienced fighting in the creeks and water and govt can't apply miximum military force to level those places because that will be colateral damage on both the innocent ones and even the resource they want to protect. What we need is true federalism, the only way out of all this mess.

We should criticize our government when they are wrong and applaud them when they do well as it is done in developed climes as a means of making them sit tight but hear in Nigeria, our sense of judgement is being carried away with politics and emotion. I am a strong supporter of the present government but can't be too naive to identify their flaws which I am beginning to see in the area of integrity, as per deniers of their campaign promises and some misinformation/deception to Nigerians. Information minister told us last month that there were no territories or local government occupied by boko haram as well as that the weapons purchased by the previous administration are all sub-standard, an information the Army later came out to debunk. This is becoming very very worrisome.

I could not agree more with the Op even though I don't support any party but I think it will only take a very naive and gullible Nigerian to believe the propaganda of the ruling party. Imagine the power minister trying to cajole already impoverished Nigerians to accept the increment on power tariff as "a bitter pill that most be swallowed" and come to imagine what he would have said to such proposed increment if he was in the opposition party.
