It depends on the school some schools are going online now. Futmx is online now. I think we should start a Media Curusade to make all transcripts in Nigeria Electronic. Our Universities have done a lot of harm to people's destinies through this transcript issue.

The money is standard.From their letter for last year all na 700k(Accomodation,ICT,Project) excluding Tuition. Please go to a Top school in Nigeria.

Orientation is done at same time and venue for Lss and Oss. You will be lodged in a top hotel in Abuja one person per room and fed throughout the length. A bus will be available to convey you to and fro throughout. At least for once you feel rewarded for your academic excellence, and this reposes some hope in this country that academic excellence and hardwork is not old fashioned. Getting PTDF shows you are good thank God and be happy. You will be given Tags ,a polo shirt and cap. Orientation is basically a series of lectures on how the scholarship is run and also opening of files too and other offiicial things. Advice is given and also questions are allowed. Please go there make friends and enjoy your time. But please take your studies serious you might be the one to save this country.

On the long run, the best man wins the best place and persistent merit will ultimately and eventually succeed .

Hello all,

First of all, congratulations to the successful candidates. To the unsuccessful; persevere and keep trying.

Now to the matter at hand. I was one of the lucky candidates selected for the OSS MSc. However, I don't have any admission at the moment. I'm just actually about to start the application process. From my research, although a few schools take Spring entry (January), most top schools in the USA only take Fall entry (September). As it stands, it seems like the earliest I can resume is January 2018.
I'd appreciate your responses to the following questions.

1. Does the scholarship offer cover entry in 2018/19 academic year?
2. Do you know any top schools which accept Spring entry (January)?

FYI: My area of concentration is Electrical Engineering (focus on control systems/robotics).

A friend that got ptdf lss last year was lamenting that ptdf has not paid them since last year that he was the one funding the program.

I was one of the successful applicant this year.
I intend to choose the top schools e.g IPS COE,AUST. But I was afraid when I heard this from a friend because I cannt afford to fund myself in our own public schools talkless of Top Notch schools.

If I can fund myself there is no need for me to apply for Ptdf.

There was delay in truth but I believe PTDF will do better this year. Once you have your PTDF letter your tuition is no more your headache. Go to any Local university you want .But go to the top ones where they pay in millions. Don't short change yourself by going to any school. After tuition PTDF will still pay you 700k direct if last year rate applies so guy don't limit yourself. Even admission wise no problem it's PTDF the schools can make an exception. There are lot of such centres in UNIPORT.

Sure, I studied Petroleum Engineering, so you're saying my best bet is Safety?, I was thinking about going for Environmental and adding stuff like NEBOSH and other certifications to it.

You can do Petroleum Geoscience. CPG Uniport or COE in Benin.

Please house,I was trying to apply to CGRP,Uniport but later find out on their website that all completed forms should be submitted on or before 14th August,2017.Though the completed online forms I submitted all went through even with a feedback that I should print and submit a hardcopy to them at their office in Uniport. Please house should I still go to their office even when I know that the deadline for the submission of the completed forms has been exceeded?

Buh I realised that the deadline for the submission of the application form and other documents is today and the application process is not done online. I really do not know what to do. I have sent an email already today buh no reply yet. I tried calling the number listed on their site, no response either.... Pls advice. Should I pay the application fee of #10k and submit the form at a later date?

PTDF scholarship will make most schools bend. Try visiting if calls don't know Uniport has a lot of centre you can consider.

Got the email too. I'm considering IPS uniport and Shell Centre of Excellence uniben for MSc in Petroleum geoscience.

I also don't have admission yet and I'm yet to apply to either of these schools. Would it be wise to include in the ptdf form that I haven't secured admission while still hoping to apply to IPS or COE uniben for admission into this year's program? Is ptdf likely to make arrangements to accommodate this?

And which do you think is better? IPS or CoE uniben.
