that friend of yours should just for MLS, directly. even though both mlt and mls works in the lab, the mls are paid more than mlt with the fact that they work less, and also we are being made to understand that as time goes on,mltechnician will no longer be needed in the lab, like they did for Mlassistant, we will only have mlscientist.

I advice immediately after his OND in poly, that frnd of yours should just resit for JAMB again then, try applying for MLS into UDUSOK

Why I chose udusok is because, they give admission easily into MLS once you meet the cut off. But the stress after admission is left to the person.

Admission to MLS = simple
After admission to MLS = work start

There are about five specialities in MLS;
- Hematology
- Chemical pathology
- Histopathology
- Medical microbiology
- Immunology

Among this specialities, you could sub-specialize

Last year exam was in two sections. English and your course of study. Petroleum Geology /Petroleum Geoscience/ Geology did " Basin Evolution". Just basic sedimentary Geology not too tough then Pray.


-No Current Affairs
-Just English and Geology( Read about sedimentology, Depositional Environment, Niger Delta,Stratigraphy/sequence stratigraphy and (basic geology not too much)
Answer questions u are sure of only.
No mathematics .

There's no such thing as OND in Medical laboratory science, please ask your friend carefully to know the best advice one can give. Medical laboratory science is a professional degree studied in University alone not in polytechnics. Degree is Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) not OND
