State creation is a complex and long process. It requires an amendment to the constitution , a 2/3 rd vote in the National Assembly, and an agreement within the states that a new state is to be created.

Presidents cannot declare states by fiat as it was under Army rule. Otherwise we would have long since had new states since even Obasanjo admin.

But NOT IMPOSSIBLE
BAT will be the first civilian president to create new states. I believe it will also go a long way in addressing some of our security challenges as some of the clashes are over land and economic resources

Virtually everything in this country is a struggle, All you need to live or survive in this country has to pass thru the tough and rough part of struggles, sweat and pains.

I have visited a few African countries, at least I know the government puts in effort to ensure the citizens are safe in terms of security, affordable and almost constant electricity and clean water, good health care facilities etc.

But when it comes to Nigeria, it's a different scenario.
