Nigeria like any other country or even organizations have rules and principle guarding it or better still code of conduct as seen in Nigeria broadcasting commission. Yes there's freedom of speech but there's no absolute freedom of speech anywhere in the world, journalism is guarded with rules and regulations or code of conduct in every country.

Meaning you don't just broadcast anything in the name of freedom of speech, but we forget to know that there's consequences of what we say in public or private. Are we going to say because there's freedom of speech then the print and electronic media shouldn't be regulated, or the print or electronic media is at liberty to what they air or write.

Meaning a print or electronic media could wake up one morning and broadcast like radio Biafra where a tribe is called cow or where some are called parasite and cockroaches in the name of freedom of speech and NBC shouldn't do anything. Social media platform is not regulated the reason why it shouldn't form part of the mainstream media like what AIT does in their KAAKAKI social media, a platform provided for those who hide under freedom of speech to speak trash because it's not regulated.

In KAAKAKI social media you see AIT reading inciting messages of people, i was watching one morning section when AIT read a post of someone about insecurity how Boko Haram bomb blast killed over hundred people, and how herdsmen killed scores of people in South-East same day, but it all happened that that was nothing like that as read by KAAKAKI social media, it's all fake news.

I could remember that same AIT social media read a post on their morning show where someone threatened the unity of Nigeria, and called some tribes Hausa-Fulani cow, parasite and Yoruba slave and skull miners going by the code of conduct journalism AIT was not supposed to read a post of someone threatening the country and called other tribes unprintable names that will incite them.

In Port Harcourt if you're calling a radio or tv show programme or sending a social media content the achor of the programme of Today Fm, Nigeria Info cautions you on the use of words and don't read messages that malign individuals or the government, like the government is supporting Boko Haram or Fulani herdsmen.

AIT and raypower fm were warned severally through a letter instead of adhering to where they've aired, apologise and settle amicably as it's always done in businesses the owner of Daar communication of AIT and raypower started playing the victim card and oppressing the media and staged a useless protest to the national assembly.

Just like in the case of Justice Onnoghen when same people and PDP made it a party thing and politicized it without asking some questions like if Onnoghen actually committed the crime he was charged for, they ran to the social media and court of public opinion to comdemn the government, the PDP governors and South-South governors urged him Onnoghen to fight on and resist the federal government, at last Onnoghen was found guilty and convicted.

The same people that cheered Onnoghen on went back to plead for soft landing for Onnoghen when it became obvious Onnoghen committed some infractions, same happened to Naira Marley they cheered him on but when he landed in EFCC and was charged to court and got reminded in prison we didn't see the drummers again it became to your tent oh Israel.

They have started cheering Raymond Dokpesi owner of AIT raypower on, they've called PMB tyrant, NBC is witch hunting him without asking themselves question if actually AIT/ raypower violated code of conduct of broadcasting, at last when it's been proven by the court of law that yes AIT/raypower violated the code they'll start seeking for a soft landing for him to save AIT/raypower like in the case of Onnoghen.

Not forgetting that Dokpesi also refused to pay his license renewal fees something he may have been getting away with previously,. ......this same man had to apologize to Tinubu in various publications and on his platforms for airing the Lion of Bourdillon and Tinubu took him to court......their desperation will not let them see all this but they will keep shouting freedom of speech

Just assuming I don't know anything Oyo state..... Ladoja left Pdp because he wanted to be controlling seyi which seyi resisted mainly because he was financing pdp, then Ladoja also left APC because he couldn't impose his choice candidates so Ladoja and seyi will eventually fall apart...like they did after pdp primaries...... .and that is where seyis inexperience politically will come in, yes he has been in the contesting game for 12 years, but has not won any until now which was made possible because of a coalition with other parties (meaning he doesn't have the votes) a coalition he agreed to share power with 55/45...... Ladoja wields immense power in Ibadan and everyone who had been in his bad book had always regretted it (I'm not a fan of osi olubadan though)

are you not contradicting your own position? of all the lanuage programmes you listed above from various radio stations, none is in fulfude, arent you aware not all fulani speak hausa? your suggestion to include fulani on von or radio nigeria will only give a few hours of fulani broadcast which may not be enough to disseminate the message of peace and inform and educate them , afterall we have 247 hausa, yoruba and igbo language stations.....they are not being specially treated but the urgency to put an end to killings necesitated the establishment of a radio stations that can reach the vast majority of those involved .

Let radio Nigeria or voice of Nigeria include programmes in fufude or whatever there language is and transmit so that all Nigerians can get them at once and those that understand the language should benefit.

Still contradicting yourself more, I can receive AM station broadcasting in Ibo from kaura namoda (which is Hausa land) I can receive Yoruba speaking AM station in Makurdi.......AM as opposes to FM has wider coverage, the sound might not be great but it audible enough...... So many state governors have radio stations that broadcast only their local language 247 on AM frequency ...........Bbc Hausa service can be heard in the heart of iboland so I don't understand the hulabaloo about Fulani radio given the situation at hand and the urgent need to reach, inform and educate the Fulani with the view of finding solutions to the current crisis.
