Fhemmmy: They are both nice and reliable rides . . . however, depending on the year and i have heard of few people that had issues with the transmission of the older model of MDX, but all depends on how you take care of it.
But honestly, for a starter and without a deep pocket, i will not advice you to go for either, cos they are not just a simple cookie.

. The avalon is the most reliable toyota sedan. Its much heavier,stronger and upgrade version of camry. Its toyota flagship sedan. I always prefare the avalon to camry, especially from 2000 model avalon. But for the 95 model avalon compared to 95 model camry, I will go for the avalon.

When inlaws are are war with a wife/husband, that marriage is already at high risk of breaking up, because it is extremely tiring and stressful on the person in the middle and he/she will be pulled from side to side.

@OP, done is done. Your brother has become a man,accept and deal with it.
He has not asked for y'alls help or opinion so I see no need for labeling him a "disgrace". Marriage now can make him become "more responsible" or maybe not. His life, his decision,he'll learn.
Sit him down and talk to him in love, not with this judgmental/ condescendly (as you exhibited here). Explain to him that he does not have to marry now JUST cos the lady is pregnant as marriage entails more ,see if you can reach out to the lady too and talk to her with respect. If at the end of the day both insist on getting married, accept and deal with it.

OP, i really feel for you and perfectly understand your predicament. something similar happened to a close colleague of mine.
during courtship, was her atitude towards your family like this? was there anybody in your family who offended her before, during and after your wedding? there must be something responsible for her current atitude towards your family. try and do your little investigation from your family end, to find out if anybody in your family is responsible,probably through careless talk or jokes or just anything that may have caused little friction in the past. if after your investigations and nothing is found out, then you have to sit her down for a talk when she is in her good mood and find out what the problem is. if after trying to mend fences between her and your family proves abortive, then let her be and take it as one of the crosses you have to carry in marriage. however,always maintain close contact with your family and never allow your wife's atitude to bring a gap between you and your family. i believe with time her atitude will fizzle out. your marriage is still young and you guys have a long long years ahead of you. so, start now by ensuring both of you build a solid marital foundation that can withstand any problems that life may throw at you guys. dont forget to commit your marriage into God's hands.

OP, you need to understand that there is a limit a third-party can interfere in a marriage. Your boss may be looking unkempt always and may not be connected to the wife's non-nonchalant or uncaring attitude. Except you have all the facts and details about his home can you make the deduction that his wife neglected him and left him to look like a dirty pig.

Does it happen everyday or its an occasional thing? If it is occasional, it is understandable and if it is a daily occurrence, it could be a reflection of the marriage or the man is dirty himself. There are some physical signs you see to know that there are problems in the home of some people. If its not a function of problems in his marriage, then your boss is a dirty person and there is nothing anybody can do (even his wife) to redeem him from dirtiness except he changes himself.

As much as I understand your innocent intention, you need to be cautioned on the ways you are going about this business of concern for your boss. Do not think the posters rebuking you hate you or think you have ulterior motive, they are experienced married people and they know the end result of the journey you started. Hence, they are scared for you. What a child can't see standing up, an elder sees sitting down from afar. You have to keep to your boundaries in your work place.

You have told him once, twice or many times about his untidiness, that should be enough and you need not take it upon yourself as the wife. That is going too far. Except you have a look-good department in your office and you are part of it, that takes care of the boss outlook, I don't think there was a need for you to follow the boss to the salon. Let not your good intentions be taken for evil. If you know the wife, why not with this innocent concern talk to her and if possible let her understand how the members of staff feel with his look. Probably change will come and it will save you of the stress of monitoring his dressing.

Your intention may be innocent but trust me, this is how emotional bonding starts. If you continue at this rate with him, you both are potential candidates for infidelity. Understand your boundaries and keep to it. You also never can tell if this is a trick he is playing to get your attention. The end result may not be palatable.

@All, although the OP didn't pass her message across well and went too far, she actually has a point. Let's be attentive to our spouses and for the men, let's listen to the ladies when they criticize our wears. I know some men are stubborn and can't handle their wives helping them look good, they prefer the girl in the office to correct their dressing than their wives.
