Though controversial, the solution is to float the naira so it settles at it’s real value. The naira is currently over valued and is creating market asymmetry.
Any government that comes in will have no choice |
Politics › Re: Pele: Buhari Mourns Soccer Legend, Pele, Says He Will Never Be Forgotten by rontolo(m): 3:09pm On Dec 30, 2022 |
This is the very definition of Irresponsible leadership. Buhari commits more effort to matters of limited national importance and significance .
Little wonder the country has remained rudderless and comatose under his watch! |
Politics › Re: 2023: Anxiety In Amaechi’s Camp As Wike Seals Deal With Tinubu by rontolo(m): 2:43pm On Dec 30, 2022 |
Ezewuzie01: That stupid idiot called Peter Obi should step out of the race to avoid humiliating himself further. It is obvious that many people don't have respect for him and the lies he stands for. I just saw a quote from the governor of Rivers state insulting Peter Obi as if Obi is his gateman and the insults that Soludo and Arthur Eze have already heaped on the clown aren't enough.
As to the rumour that we have endorsed Labour Party Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, you should understand that we are talking about Presidency of Nigeria, not Traders' Union nor Anambra Governorship election here..." ~ Gov Nyesom Wike All that bile and insult over an unverified post allegedly credited to Wike on social media? Can we now conclude that your infantile ranting is down to a chronic maturity deficit? |

These are battle tested warriors, mostly former special operatives. They are often supported by high-tech western Intelligence capability. Compare this to the compromised, Fulani-dominated, battle-weary, untrusted, civilian-bashing Nigerian army.
See these guys in action and you’ll understand the difference between professionalism and mediocrity |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Attends Youth Dialogue Programme In Lagos (Photos, Video) by rontolo(m): 6:37pm On Dec 29, 2022 |
One thing I give to President Obi is his energy. His willingly to engage, unscripted. His humility.
That alone sets him apart from Demi-god other wannabe candidates and enough reason to vote him in.
I recall the way Lagos shut down when Tinubu returned from a visit to a south-western state not so long ago. He isn’t even President yet and is already oppressing the populace.
I wake up each day alternating between the worst candidate between Tinubu and Atiku. They are both terrible options in different ways. Nigeria is doomed with either of them! |

Light78: Racism. Imagine no one wants to talk to you because you are black.
Many of the men here think if they go there they will make friends easily. That's a lie
Let's practice...
We are gonna use Man A and a White lady as an example.
He is walking toward a while lady to start a conversation with her.
White lady: Who is this person gravitating towards me?
Man A: Hi, how're you doing?
White lady: Are you sure you are okay? Should I call the authorities on you?
Man A:. He says to himself, shaiii, I think say na so e go easy oooo... Really? You walk up to someone to start a conversation and they think whether to call the cops on you? Wow. What country exactly are you referring to or are you generalising? I have lived in multiple Western countries for decades and what you just described here is the strangest thing I’ve heard! Pls enlighten us, ejoor |

TheChameleon: Maybe you should learn English first before going rabid with a thesaurus dictionary.
Where did I exonerate the policeman ? I didn’t mention exoneration anywhere in my response. ‘The policeman was wrong…’ trivialises the issue here. This is more than a case of right or wrong. We are talking cold blooded murder. Maybe it’s your limited diction, so will leave it at that. I come in perfect peace! |
Crime › Re: How Policeman Killed My Pregnant Wife On Christmas Day - Gbenga Raheem by rontolo(m): 10:29am On Dec 27, 2022 |
TheChameleon: The Policeman was wrong to shoot... he should be punished.
But this story is missing some details for sure. You make this out so casually! ‘The policeman was wrong’ like this is a contest between simple right and wrong. You say ‘but there is more to this..’ suggesting the deceased may be culpable too? Dude, the policeman is a murderer. Simple. Nothing on planet earth justifies the barbaric killing of a defenceless woman right before her family. This is the story of much of the Nigerian police today ; power drunk, poorly trained, toxic and intoxicated. |
Politics › Re: Soludo Will Be President Of Igbo Extraction Not Peter Obi, Says Arthur Eze by rontolo(m): 11:26pm On Dec 26, 2022 |
Raheeqilmaktoom: Man's got character, knows the way and works the way, you can't deny that.
What makes him petty and envious? Perhaps his telling Obi he won't win, more than 9/10 of realist observants think so. There is more to his open attacks. I observed when he did same to Ngozi Okonjo. The envy is there for all to see. Anyway, he won’t get my vote. I actually don’t think much of him. Loud and brash |
Politics › Re: Soludo Will Be President Of Igbo Extraction Not Peter Obi, Says Arthur Eze by rontolo(m): 8:35pm On Dec 26, 2022 |
propsvilla1: People don't understand why Soludo was attacking Obi. Soludo was promised an Igbo presidency after Atiku but Obi is collecting his shine and making his dream an impossibility. Arthur Eze we know is suporting Atiku so I don't expect him to say otherwise. It is obvious na! Soludo is envious of P Obi. He was envious of Ngozi Okonjo. Soludo will never be President of Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: Soludo Will Be President Of Igbo Extraction Not Peter Obi, Says Arthur Eze by rontolo(m): 8:33pm On Dec 26, 2022 |
Raheeqilmaktoom: The real deal is Soludo. Will never support soludo as president. Too Petty and envious. |
