i recently bought an iphone 5s from someone for 50k, the phone is still neat and everything is in place, as a matter of fact he gave me charger and everything and the phone can be mistaken for a new one. The problem is that the phone is requesting that i put my icloud id and password to activate the phone and the nigga didnt give it to me .however,i have tried contacting him but i cant reach him again but i want to know if there is a way i can activate the phone without the icloud id
Ehya
The guy scammed you.
Yes, you can unlock it but it's very expensive (more than the amount you bought the phone) and it's a 50:50 chance.

Getting USB MTP to work

(1) Go to C:\Windows\INF

(2) Type "wpdmtp.inf" in search bar provided to the right of the address bar in Windows 10.

(3) Once you found it, just right click on it and select install. It will take a very few seconds.

(4) Connect your device to the pc.

I have tried this and it works. works for Windows 10 & Windows 8.1.
What device is that?
MTP works out of the box -- even in Windows 10.

OK Tnx Broda. I will like you to help out in trying to purchase item, I'll rather buy directly with my master card, what are the requirements if buying tru Master card? I operate Stanbic Bank Master Card. What is the exchange rate for Stanbic Bank when buying online? Tnx
Use GTB and or Access Bank.
Stanbic seems to have ceased forex transactions on Naira card.
Before it was >₦400/$

I've been following this thread for a while now and I've streamlined my options: Redmi note 3Pro se and redmi4. Kindly assist with pros and cons.
The Rn3se beat it in RAM (3gb vs 2GB), ROM (32B vs 16GB), the processor is better(Snapdragon 650 vs 430) though with more heating, and the RN3SE supports all the LTE bands in Nigeria.

Please what's the difference between buying directly with Master card and buying with Ali Pocket?
There's not much difference per se.
AliExpress pocket is AliExpress' wallet.
You can use it to "store" money to be spent on AliExpress.
An advantage is that refunds are faster when bought with the funds in your pocket because there's no need to go through the bank.

The real advantage and main reason we use it in this thread is to bypass the forex restrictions/ limit on Bank accounts.
Banks only allow you to spend $100 monthly for forex transactions, so if you want to buy an item higher than $100 you wouldn't be able to.

If you use one bank's ATM to fund your pocket it's like you deposit money there, and you can now combine that money in the pocket with the one in a different bank's ATM whose monthly limit you haven't exceeded.

Thanks. downloaded... At bolded so true

My phone isn't rooted but you can still drop the process please, in case I change my mind later cheesy
There you go:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-2/themes/apply-party-themes-xiaomi-designer-t3540295

The procedure above uses Xposed for Lollipop.
Just flash the TWRP for your device and download Xposed for Marshmallow and you're good to go.

Nawa oo
If your phone is rooted and you're running Marshmallow or lower, there's an Xposed module that enables you to bypass that.

Story.

T(He)y just want to invoke panic so people will sell and the price will crash further and t(he)y can buy when it's crashed and sell when it inevitably rises.

Consider this alleged anecdote about Rothschild:

To the Rothschilds, [England's] chief financial agents, Waterloo brought a many million pound scoop. ... a Rothschild agent ... jumped into a boat at Ostend ... Nathan Rothschild ... let his eye fly over the lead paragraphs. A moment later he was on his way to London (beating Wellington's envoy by many hours) to tell the government that Napoleon had been crushed: but his news was not believed, because the government had just heard of the English defeat at Quatre Bras . Then he proceeded to the Stock Exchange. Another man in his position would have sunk his work into consols [bank annuities], already weak because of Quatre Bras. But this was Nathan Rothschild. He leaned against "his" pillar. He did not invest. He sold. He dumped consols. ... Consols dropped still more. "Rothschild knows," the whisper rippled through the 'Change. "Waterloo is lost." Nathan kept on selling, ... consols plummeted – until, a split second before it was too late, Nathan suddenly bought a giant parcel for a song. Moments afterwards the great news broke, to send consols soaring. We cannot guess the number of hopes and savings wiped out by this engineered panic.

Phones › Re: Whatsapp Introduces Click-to-chat: Send A Message From Your Browser by rookidmart(op): 10:52pm On Feb 24, 2017
Fun fact: you can write a message to yourself and chat with yourself! Just insert your WhatsApp number in there space for the number. Freaky!
Phones › Whatsapp Introduces Click-to-chat: Send A Message From Your Browser by rookidmart(op):
WhatsApp's Click to Chat feature allows you to begin a chat with someone without having their phone number saved in your phone's address book. As long as you know this person’s phone number, you can create a link that will allow you to start a chat with them. By clicking the link, a chat with the person automatically opens. Click to Chat works on both your phone and WhatsApp Web.

To create your own link, use
https:///send?phone=
followed by the person's full phone number in international format. Omit any zeroes, brackets or dashes when adding the phone number in international format.

For example if you want to send a message to someone whose number is 08012345678 which is a Nigerian number. Just delete the first zero put 234 in front of the other numbers

Use:
https:///send?phone=234812345678

Don't use: https:///send?phone=+2348012345678

To create your own link with a pre-filled message that will automatically appear in the text field of a chat, use
https:///send?phone=whatsappphonenumber&text=urlencodedtext
where whatsappphonenumber is a full phone number in international format and urlencodedtext is the URL-encoded pre-filled message.

Example: https:///send?phone=234812345678&text=Welcome%20to%20Nairaland

URL encoding works like this: Write the message together without spaces, spaces are represented by the character %20. So if you want to insert a space just use %20

So if you want to send "I am using WhatsApp" to the number 08012345678 then do this:
https:///send?phone=234812345678&text=I%20am%20using%20Whatsapp

To create a link with just a pre-filled message, use
https:///send?text=urlencodedtext

To write: "How are you?" write::
https:///send?text=How%20are%20you?

After clicking on the link, you will be shown a list of contacts you can send your message to.
