This should be the right time for medical and herbal medicine practioners in Nigeria to prove their mettle. |
In as much as I condemned the mischieviousness of the pedellers of these rumours, I think these rumours served a purpose. They served as as a litmus test on the level of our awareness about this Ebola issue. Indeed it scored a point. By now we will all unianimously agree that the level of awareness about this Ebola issue in the country is very high. These rumours travelled to all the nooks and crannies of this country and beyond. Though these rumour mongers embarrased the whole country and put us all in a panicky situation, I plead with Nigerians and FG to forgive them. |
I still don't understand why some people will always call our president names over any petty or trivial issues? That's very unfair! Thank God say na shoe e no wear; no be say e contract Ebola disease! |
I laff for corner corner, I call am Ebola laff Story Aye! By the way; na dis agbalagba wey I see for pinshure be d 16 years pikin? I laff for corner-corner, I call am Ebola laff! I comment my reserve because no cause for control, every thing is under alarm! Naija my country I hail thee! |
@ Caseless My guy I see sense in what you said especially now that it has been revealed that late Mr Sawyer knew that he had contracted the Ebola virus back in Liberia but escaped being quarantined and ran to Nigeria. Is that not wickedness? |
@ Peppyluv Yes I agree with you: Onitsha is very big and congested; more congested than Nnewi. But often its 'bigness' is often over-rated. People do mistake some of its neighbouring towns as part of Onitsha town. Some mistake some parts of Nkpor, Ogbaru and its neighbouring towns to Onitsha. Awada is in Obosi not in Onitsha. Greater parts of Onitsha GRA is in Nkwelle-Ezukala. Where FGGC is located is on Ogidi land. These are some of the misconceptions people have about Onitsha which need to be corrected. What I don't understand is why would our government say it's going to site a project in Onitsha when in essence the project won't be sited in Onitsha but in a neighbouring town. What stops it from saying that the project will be sited in Nsugbe or any other place than this rationale lie. If ANIDS is truly committed to its course of developping every sector simultaneously, I think it's high time they started to readdress such issues. If such issues are not properly handled, it may be a big problem to posterity. Some classical examples of such lies are as follows: Purity FM, Awka - In reality this radio station is not in Awka but in Mgbakwu. NTA Awka - This television station is is Enugwu-Agidi not in Awka. NOUN study-centre,Awka - The centre is in Abagana not in Awka. |
@ OP Na only u waka come? #pinshure or I don't belif it# |
Now we are contending with the Ebola virus in Nigeria. It is reported that the virus came into Nigeria through one Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian. Since the out break of the virus, two known cases of death have been confirmed in Nigeria, they are Mr Sawyer and the nurse who treated him. Patrick Sawyer travelled to Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, for a meeting of west African officials. Visibly sick upon arrival at the international airport in Lagos, officials said he was immediately transferred to the First Consultants hospital in the up market Ikoyi neighbourhood. He died in quarantine on July 25 and the hospital has since been closed. My question is, will the death of Mr Patrick Sawyer sever the relative peace and mutual understanding existing between Nigeria and its sister country, Liberia? |
That will be a welcome development in Anambra state. My fear is if this will ever materialize going by the petty lie the project is hinged upon. Onitsha is so developped and saturated with houses and industries that it does not have a vacant land space to accomodate a bio-fuel refinery; demonstrations farms; botanical gardens; hotels; housing estate; sports facilities; industrial parks; solar farms; water. Parks; and health malls. I think is high time our leaders stopped insulting our sensibilities and learn to always say nothing but the truth. |
I think why GEJ is dilly-dallying about the whole issue is that he is yet to come to terms that there was really an abduction of the Chibok girls. He is still seeing the whole thing to some extent as a stage managed affair by his oppositions. |
Hmmmm I laff throway for corner - corner, I call am Ebola laff! As e succeed to look like Micheal Jackson physically, make e kuku succeed to look like Micheal Jackson FINANCIALLY o! |
Indeed Terry G resembles his mum. No doubt the woman is beautiful. Is the other guy by the right not our Daddy Showkey? |
Hmmmmmmm! What's wrong with their current set of uniforms? So the military authority feels that should they change the current set of uniforms, the alleged 'Impostors' will not have access to the new set of uniforms? I laugh in Ebola virus' way There are bad eggs in the military that are ever ready to even part the so called new uniforms with the impostors just for a token! Abi na anoda avenue to squander tax payers moni again? |
Chai! Omo see ride wey small pikin dey cruise. Agbalagba like me still dey trek dey look for d so called FGN mass assisted transport. E go beta! Rest in peace dear compatriot! |
@ op Please I need some clarifications here:- Are there any other states in Nigeria apart from imo, abia, anambra, enugu, ebonyi, Delta and Rivers where igbos are located? |
You are condemning Oga GEJ for being unserious and commending the cameroonians for rescueing the wife of their vice prime minister. Oga GEJ said if you want the girls back soon, beg the national assembly to approve the 1 billion dollar loan. Sikina! |
tbagjames: Stop faulting, the bridge is meant to be started and complited in 2015, after PDP wins its presidential seat( no name mentioned). I wish to congratulate our president in advance. More grace and grease to not just your elbow but your entire handsNot so Bro, according to the handlers of the project, it's going to last for 48 months. Translate into years to know what it gives. |
eaglechild: This one was planted on the front page even before the OP finished typing. My guy no talk wetin you see. It's very obvious that atimes the moderators are bias when it comes to selection of topics for the front page. Many people have written on similar topic and never made it to the front page. |
@ Neaman I thought you are only daft but never knew you are equally morally diabetic. My dear, this' your' fgn assisted mass transit have been on many transport companies for over 12 years now (You can make an enquiry). If Jonathan actually released those buses as he promised, it should clearly be written fgn SURE-P mass transit. Yes that will make us believe that he has kept his promise of 1st jan. 2012. Remember it was all about the removal of fuel subsidy. Then the buses to be released to various states government will go with this insignia: e.g Abia State SURE-P mass transit etc. You know the way PTF was boldly written on any vehicle given to any state, agency or parastetals in those years. This will give Nigerians the idea of what the Subsidy buses look like. My guy how do you see that? Not when a meagre number of buses were shared to various transport companies owned by pdp card carriers like Agofure Motors, NURTW etc you would want nigerians to believe that our president has kept his promise. I rest my case on that! @Neaman @Kentorito2 @Victorciza Hope this sudden romance with GEJ will last till 2019? I wouldn't want to see you join the band wagon of bad mouthed nigerians to call him bad names such as: clueless, retardeen etc again! |
Neaman: Aba to umuahia route has close to 15 "FGN ASSISTED MASS TRANSIT" in operation on daily basis and very affordable...if you've never seen any, its either you have sight problem or you find joy in criticizing unconstructively.Something is wrong with your value system. So because you see close to 15 FG assisted mass transit buses that ply from aba to umuahia you now gave FG a thumbs up and concluded that it has kept its promise? I can see you are arithmetically daft yet ccocksure. Since you are so thrilled by the meagre number of buses you see, kindly divide 5000 into 36 and see how many buses a state suppose to get. |
President Jonathan in his new year message of 1st January 2012 announced the removal of fuel subsidy and promised to provide 5000 buses to alleviate transportation problems in Nigeria. Has that promise been fulfiled or am I blind to see it? |
With this move, haters will praise GEJ government at least for once. |

If the so called manager - husband could be allowing his newly married wife to be dressing like this, then is high time Tiwa knew that he doesn't love her but her money! |
