cant say, but did u specify your country when u asked on FB for the new amount?
No I didn't specify..But it was on FB so finding out couldn't have been that hard for them...
Based on what they said though they are just the social media team so they just act as a sort of FAQ to guide pepple

just downloaded a new form from db website as at 120secs, its 8040
So what could be the problem then
Or is their FB team not up to speed or what
Travel / Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Rorschach619: 9:30am On Jun 29, 2016
I just hope I don't have to start sending another supplementary form to change the blocked account like they suggested or that this is just a misunderstanding from their FB team
But either way it doesn't look good
Travel / Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Rorschach619: 9:28am On Jun 29, 2016
Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news but it seems the blocked account money is now 8640 euros
I did my form A transaction a few weeks ago and about a couple of days ago I was debited but I still didn't receive any confirmation so I sent them an email via their contact form...I got this reply
Dear Sirs,

the amount mentioned in our confirmation of account opening has not been
credited completely until now or there is no credit entry.

After the whole amount has been credited you will receive the confirmation
as soon as possible.

If you want to change the blocked amount we need a new signed
"supplementary form" from you in original.

Please send documents only in original by postal or courier service to our
address.
I was even thinking maybe I needed to add an extra 50 euros to make it 8090..But I decided to send them a message on Facebook to confirm
They replied immediately informing that as per the new guidelines from German Embassy in order to cover living costs, the new blocked amount is now 8640 euros

LGDON:
I need advice

While am waiting for TUM to make their decision, I want to book appointment with the admission I have now.

But am scared

I got admission in SRH Hochschule Berlin, Msc International Management

700 Euro monthly

Someone living in Berlin should please advice me

Can I survive the tuition fee?

Is there jobs in Berlin?

I have my block account money ready but the tuition is scary

Nobody can answer that question for you cuz nobody knows how fat your wallet is
Also even if you could get a job which could give you that much(which is highly unlikely)most of these schools ask for a down payment of about a semesters fees...
Anyways, I don't think you can pay tuition monthly...It isn't rent
So if you think you can pay the down payment(bearing in mind that there are still other things to pay for..feeding, rent et al)then by all means go ahead
But seeing as you are already "scared"..then it ain't a good idea

1) You buy at the embassy.
2) l believe someone stated here in this part 3 that you would not have to write it from home.
3)You can do that if you want but it is not compulsory.
Hey bro..watsup..hows magdeburg
I tried you on whatsapp but no luck
Dunno if you still remember your guy lol

Good morning
I apologise in advance if my questions are a bit common but I have read both part 2 and 3 of this thread and I haven't really been able to answer them well enough
1) the prepaid courier envelope we are supposed to buy...Is it a self addressed envelope and is it preferable we bring it with us from home or buy at the embassy(bearing in mind the time factor during interview)
2)the handwritten letter of motivation(am guessing it should resemble the one we used for school application but edited for the embassy)but are we writing it on A4 paper or foolscap sheet and bringing it from home or are we supposed to write it there
3)from what I read we are supposed to write out name, address, email etc at the back of our questionnaire right

Just put ur folks tax id number and you can include a copy of the tax slip so they know it's not urs....thats what I did
I know tax info can't be shared but they are well aware we don't pay tax and that's the closest thing you can get to it
I think it's just like the nepa bill we are asked to bring when opening account here...
Just my opinion

Lols Boss dont use ir parents tax number abeg grin

Tax number is nt something u share...just indicate no tax number or call FIRS.

You can get Tax number (TIN) from FIRS in all states. I think its free.

Just google how to get tax number in Nigeria....follow the migerianfinder.com website.

Yh I guess yu might be right
What did yu do during ur own time
Or yu werent asked to fill the tax

Wow Deutsch bank just told me the form I sent was outdated and then gave me a link to their website where I can download the form, but the only difference I can find is about having tax residence in Germany or another country with available spaces to fill up the names of those countries, but aside that I find no other difference with the first form I filled. But the real issue is what do I fill in this tax residence stuff, pls has anyone had a similar situation? Your contributions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
Have yu sent in ur form yet
If yes...which didyu tick

Achso!...so I presume u get the tax number if u re workin and for students how can they obtain this tax number?

I m nt filling the form Boss but its stated in the other form to fill using PC.it makes it more legible..
Yh I didn't know that the first time
I filled using biro
Using pc now tho
I am a student too but I guess yu can use ur parents tax
Am sure they know we don't pay tax yet

Okies then....

How do you obtain ur tax number?

All the best man.

The tax number will be on the form of ur income tax clearance certificate
Didyu also fill ur form online

Wrong!...

The question is

I am resident for tax purpose in Germany only.

I am resident for tax purpose in the following countries outside Germany.

Since u re nt residin in Germany yet....(as at the time u re filling the form)..tick the next box...and then state the country u re residin in (Nigeria) I dont know if we ve tax number if nt indicate no tax Number.

Applicants fillin that form re nt residin in Germany and when u get to Germany u get a tax number ...and the tax is normally deducted at source meaning they deduct tax before u get ur pay....even interests on bank deposits the bank deducts the tax on interests before payin the interests.

If in doubt call Deutsche bank and ask.

I may be wrong but this is my opinion.

Again Db needs to get their shit together....Just becasue of that stuff they re askin pple to go back to lagos and fill another form...as at yday they ve nt updated the form on their webpage....

I also think u ve to go back to the embassy
to certify the Form again...

All d best pple.

Nah...
All they said was to send the documents via courier or post...
They even said it wasn't compulsory to notify the embassy
I think yu might be right about the tax tho
And yes we do have a tax number
