biglord:No I didn't specify..But it was on FB so finding out couldn't have been that hard for them... Based on what they said though they are just the social media team so they just act as a sort of FAQ to guide pepple |
UncleJudax:Lol...Stay strong brother #Ironborn |
biglord:So what could be the problem then Or is their FB team not up to speed or what |
I just hope I don't have to start sending another supplementary form to change the blocked account like they suggested or that this is just a misunderstanding from their FB team But either way it doesn't look good |
Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news but it seems the blocked account money is now 8640 euros I did my form A transaction a few weeks ago and about a couple of days ago I was debited but I still didn't receive any confirmation so I sent them an email via their contact form...I got this reply Dear Sirs, the amount mentioned in our confirmation of account opening has not been credited completely until now or there is no credit entry. After the whole amount has been credited you will receive the confirmation as soon as possible. If you want to change the blocked amount we need a new signed "supplementary form" from you in original. Please send documents only in original by postal or courier service to our address. I was even thinking maybe I needed to add an extra 50 euros to make it 8090..But I decided to send them a message on Facebook to confirm They replied immediately informing that as per the new guidelines from German Embassy in order to cover living costs, the new blocked amount is now 8640 euros |
Lol...probably made things worse |
Anybody going for his/her interview next week?? |
LGDON:Nobody can answer that question for you cuz nobody knows how fat your wallet is Also even if you could get a job which could give you that much(which is highly unlikely)most of these schools ask for a down payment of about a semesters fees... Anyways, I don't think you can pay tuition monthly...It isn't rent So if you think you can pay the down payment(bearing in mind that there are still other things to pay for..feeding, rent et al)then by all means go ahead But seeing as you are already "scared"..then it ain't a good idea |
kilo4sure:Hey bro..watsup..hows magdeburg I tried you on whatsapp but no luck Dunno if you still remember your guy lol |
Good morning I apologise in advance if my questions are a bit common but I have read both part 2 and 3 of this thread and I haven't really been able to answer them well enough 1) the prepaid courier envelope we are supposed to buy...Is it a self addressed envelope and is it preferable we bring it with us from home or buy at the embassy(bearing in mind the time factor during interview) 2)the handwritten letter of motivation(am guessing it should resemble the one we used for school application but edited for the embassy)but are we writing it on A4 paper or foolscap sheet and bringing it from home or are we supposed to write it there 3)from what I read we are supposed to write out name, address, email etc at the back of our questionnaire right ![]() |
I got my acc number already after resending the form....i filled I am a resident for other countries and put Nigeria....then I put my parents tax id number and attached a copy of the tax forms therewith.... Do with that What yu will |
@femo86 |
Gmart22:I sent you an email...received a similar email albeit not entirely....need to clarify some things....reply asap Thanks |
dennisMOD:I sent mine on Wednesday and It got there by Friday |
Just put ur folks tax id number and you can include a copy of the tax slip so they know it's not urs....thats what I did I know tax info can't be shared but they are well aware we don't pay tax and that's the closest thing you can get to it I think it's just like the nepa bill we are asked to bring when opening account here... Just my opinion |
Cindino20:Yh I guess ama just leave it blank Cuz I read under faqs..."what should I put under tax related details"..they said you may leave this field empty I dunno jare |
Cindino20:Yh I guess yu might be right What did yu do during ur own time Or yu werent asked to fill the tax |
kilo4sure:Have yu sent in ur form yet If yes...which didyu tick |
Cindino20:Yh I didn't know that the first time I filled using biro Using pc now tho I am a student too but I guess yu can use ur parents tax Am sure they know we don't pay tax yet |
Cindino20:The tax number will be on the form of ur income tax clearance certificate Didyu also fill ur form online ![]() |
Cindino20:Nah... All they said was to send the documents via courier or post... They even said it wasn't compulsory to notify the embassy I think yu might be right about the tax tho And yes we do have a tax number |
Good morning all I am relatively new to this forum even though I have been reading through some of the posts for a while now I have found it to be very helpful and sometimes hilarious...lol Yu guys rock @kilo4sure..i received the same email yu were talking about....outdated forms and all....got it yesterday Had problems with the tax too....i am thinking of ticking and putting Nigeria because in the email sent they specified that the tax is mandatory Anyways are yu sending urs via DHL or wat... |
