I for one do not care much about what happens at the center. If Buhari fixes the economy,all Nigerians will benefit ,irrespective of tribe. I'd rather be concerned if my state governor is not doing well , than if a single man from SS/SE are not offered political positions at the center.

Abuja – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as misleading and unfounded reports that the President-elect, Maj.-Gen. Mu has pledged to end insurgency in the country within two months.


“The President-Elect is still waiting to be sworn in on May 29. After the ceremony, he would need time to study the security situation and plan strategically with the security chiefs as to the way forward.

2. PDP Cabals - to destabilise the election and continue ruling.

3. Niger Delta Militants - to continue getting that mouth watering contract.

4. OPC - same as above.

5. War beneficiaries(weapon dealers) - they run to war zone to make money.

6. Boko Haram - continuing attacking innocent citizen just to make Nigeria ungovernable.

Provide us any evidence of actual quote from Buhari that One Naira will be equal to a dollar. Below is what Buhari said:
“It is sad that the value of the naira has dropped to more than N230 to one dollar; this does not speak well for the nation’s economy,’’

So how does a comment on the sad state of Naira dropping against dollar, equal a vow to make them equal? Tell us and stop repeating the headlines and comments of a paid journalist.

Note: It is not impossible. In Economics, it is called Re-denomination. Ghana did it. But the fact is, Buhari did not make the claim the the journalist attributed to him. Am glad even NTA and AIT are back to reality after months of misinformation.

what does this statement mean :
"I will ensure that the naira is equals to the dollar in value"?

Tomorrow you will also come and tell us that he didn't say that he will stabilize the price of oil.

In as much as we need to support and encourage our leaders, time has come for us to hold them accountable to their campaign promises. So don't come here and try to twist the obvious.

After four years, we shall appraise his performance.....hopefully by then the exchange rate will be N1- $1

I voted him because He is a fighter. A person who have lost three elections in a row and is still coming out the forth time, I think he earned my vote.

That's by the way dear, anyway I am digressing from the topic above.

It takes an educated man to type all what you have and I am still able to make sense out of it, so it would be wrong and totally misleading for me to say you are not educated. Note that I am not an APC nor PDP supporter neither am I an online warlord for the above mentioned parties or any other party to be precise. I am just a proud and concerned Igbo man just like you, who have for long sheltered the thought of an Igbo man one day ruling this nation.
What better chance do we have of seeing this dream being actualized than having an APGA that has Ndi Igbo at heart.
