Yorubas on nairaland making it seem as if the Agbaje guy is Igbo So much hatred for their own so called son and Lagos indegene for that matter. And lead by Oba himself Just listen to Oba saying that Igbos will drown in a Lagoon for voting a Lagos indegene o. Makes no sense to me one bit And if Igbos vote Agbaje(which they'll now do out of curiosity) and Lagoon doesn't open, what will Oba now say? I honestly wish he didn't say this but unfortunately he did. I saw the video and couldn't stop Smh for grandpa |

Ebenezerk2: I am a Yoruba guy, I am also a RCCG member along side with Mr Ambode, but only a bastard Igbo people will vote for Ambode because of oba Rilwan statement, and let us see what will happen to Igbo people after the election, in fact, is it even good for Obas to belong to a political party? I thought Obas are the fathers of all, Very shameful to Yoruba kingdom Shameful is an under statement I kept arguing today that it's just a propaganda till I saw the video. I honestly wouldn't have believed if not for the video. I thank God for technology cos he would've denied it by now but this is a difficult one to deny The man has goofed big time. Imagine a whole Oba reduced to a mere thug. That's why we have to be careful with the people that ascend certain sacred thrones. Ambode may still win but if Igbos vote for Agbaje and don't drown in the Lagoon, What will now become the Oba's new name? |

I'm like, how can a tout like this be leading so many educated peeps?
You just have to wonder where the hate comes from. The fact that the speech is even celebrated by some is quite scary yo! I have a few well exposed Yoruba peeps that agree that the Oba goofed big time. Forget those touts supporting him on nl Ambode may win Lagos but if Igbos don't drown in Lagoon by April 18th after voting Agbaje, what will become Oba's new name? |

Just cause of that, I'd want to vote out APC in Lagos, cause if even Tinubu is a stooge to him, then what would we call Ambode
Maybe a stooge of a stooge I'm not even looking at the political implication per se. Tinubu or no Tinubu I'm more concerned about the shamelessness of a supposed grandpa talking like a tout. I even heard the Agbaje guy is a Lagos indegene This is such an embarrassment for a reverred throne. Abomination!!!! |

Kagame: She doesnt realise that all nigerians are screwed and will remain so, except for a new set of Billionaires that would likely emerge from the incoming Buhari's govt.
Her main topic was spot on and well articulated but her responses have been emotional at best - no logic.
I for one do not care much about what happens at the center. If Buhari fixes the economy, all Nigerians will benefit ,irrespective of tribe. I'd rather be concerned if my state governor is not doing well , than if a single man from SS/SE are not offered political positions at the center. I agree 100%. She started well but her follow up comments eh |

Please share the info if you know. At least when the time comes and he doesn't deliver we can start mass protests. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be taken for granted. meccuno: Abuja – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as misleading and unfounded reports that the President-elect, Maj.-Gen. Mu has pledged to end insurgency in the country within two months.
“The President-Elect is still waiting to be sworn in on May 29. After the ceremony, he would need time to study the security situation and plan strategically with the security chiefs as to the way forward.
“Time is of essence here. Therefore, President Buhari didn’t and wouldn’t peg the decimation of terrorism within two months.
“The General was unequivocal about cleansing Boko Haram from our land; he would do a good job of it by giving a final permanent push to rid Nigeria of unscrupulous elements,’’ the statement said.
The statement recalled that in Buhari’s interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Cable News Network (CNN), he didn’t put a time-frame to when he would eliminate terrorism.
“It would be unfair and mischievous for someone to ascribe to him what he hasn’t said,” the statement emphasised. (NAN) http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/buhari-didnt-promise-to-end-insurgency-in-two-months-apc/

omartins: 1. CIA - their prediction is that Jonathan will be Nigeria last president.
2. PDP Cabals - to destabilise the election and continue ruling.
3. Niger Delta Militants - to continue getting that mouth watering contract.
4. OPC - same as above.
5. War beneficiaries(weapon dealers) - they run to war zone to make money.
6. Boko Haram - continuing attacking innocent citizen just to make Nigeria ungovernable.
Their reasons are glaring.

egift: Provide us any evidence of actual quote from Buhari that One Naira will be equal to a dollar. Below is what Buhari said: “It is sad that the value of the naira has dropped to more than N230 to one dollar; this does not speak well for the nation’s economy,’’
So how does a comment on the sad state of Naira dropping against dollar, equal a vow to make them equal? Tell us and stop repeating the headlines and comments of a paid journalist.
Note: It is not impossible. In Economics, it is called Re-denomination. Ghana did it. But the fact is, Buhari did not make the claim the the journalist attributed to him. abuchilag: sir, what records are u setting straight. May 29th is about 56days away and you are already defending Buhari. what does this statement mean : "I will ensure that the naira is equals to the dollar in value"?
Tomorrow you will also come and tell us that he didn't say that he will stabilize the price of oil.
In as much as we need to support and encourage our leaders, time has come for us to hold them accountable to their campaign promises. So don't come here and try to twist the obvious.
After four years, we shall appraise his performance.....hopefully by then the exchange rate will be N1- $1
God bless Nigeria God bless our president-elect God bless his economic team. Why not post the link as reported by vanguard anyway let me help you. Note that I am not an APC nor PDP supporter neither am I an online warlord for the above mentioned parties or any other party to be precise. I am just a proud and concerned Igbo man just like you, who have for long sheltered the thought of an Igbo man one day ruling this nation. What better chance do we have of seeing this dream being actualized than having an APGA that has Ndi Igbo at heart. Thanks for sharing your view anyways If you have Igbo interest at heart, you shouldn't regret voting against Buhari.
