The killings (Boko Haram) started as a result of the northern negligence of checking evil/ wrong doing. When Boko Haram started, the were ignored by the northerners because they only attack christians and others, over time, they got bold as a result of GEJ's ineptitude and went on full fledge rampage. Now they can't distinguish between friend and foe!.

He may not be responsible for BH but his utterances are usually in sympathy for them.
