Good morning everyone,

I am trying to register on eToro and T212, and I have been having this issue with my proof of address, in that, the utility bill I submitted is not on my name but on my landlords. The alternative suggested by the platforms is to use a bank statement, and again, my home address had changed.

Please had anyone faced the same challenge before and how did you resolve it.

Well, at that level, nothing you can do but exchange at BDC or parallel market rate and make over the counter deposit into your dorm account.

The only other way is if you earn in USD.

For everyone looking for how to fund their T212 account, bookmark this.
This is how I fund my account.
1. I use a dorm account funded with USD.
This is to avoid exchange rate issues that arises if you fund with naira account. Withdrawal of funds will also have exchange rate issues.
But with this method of depositing USD, you withdraw USD also.
2. Get a master card debit card for the USD account.
3. Register your card on googlepay.
This is very tricky.
Don't make a mistake downloading Googlepay app.
Open a normal Google web account maybe by creating a Gmail account. If you already have a Gmail account, log on via google chrome Web browser and register your USD debit card as a payment method.
4. To fund your T212 account, note that you can't do this using the T212 app.
You must have to sign into your T212 account via a Web browser and then add Gpay as a deposit option.
Having done this, you can now go ahead to make payment through the make deposit dialogue box on the T212 web browser after log in.

Follow this process and ask any further questions.
Perhaps pictorial illustrations will be made based on your questions.

It is seemless funding and withdrawing USD without the worries of being short changed due to unfavourable and non negotiable exchange rates.

Boss, I think one of the issues is how to get the Dom account funded with USD. Getting at the BDC would have set one back some coins before you even started trading. Or how do you get past the huddle?

Not necessarily, if you have an Access Visa Card to a Domiciliary account visa G Pay. The Limits are high enough for an average trader. You won't have funding issues, its seamless and smooth, i tried first with 300, and then 600 and later in thousands.. no limits and ni charges on T212 Gpay Dorm method..

The offer is not bad for a start.
I would have said you should jump on it if the fellowship had come with full tuition waiver.
However, if you can comfortably pay the remaining tuition after the deductions, then I will suggest you go ahead with it. Also seek out for further opportunities like TA or GA...
The truth is that, the US has so many quality schools that can give good graduate school experience. People have wrongly thought that only the schools mentioned here are the only credible ones. That's why I advise people to make their research themselves and come up with schools that fit their profile and interests.
People should not pick schools because their friend picked it or because it has been mentioned here overtime.
The US has more than 500 ranked colleges that offer graduate programmes... It's left for us to pick from them. You will be surprised at the amount of funding people could get from schools that have never been mentioned here.
That been said, I have actually heard about Claremont and think is Ok.

I think you should take this offer if better prospects do not present themselves, except are willing to wait/try again.
I want to assume aside the $12k, your tuition would be paid for. This stipend should then be adequate.

Thank you for your advice. The fellowship means $12K will be deducted from my supposed tuition and I am expected to pay the rest out of pocket except I have funding from another source.

The thing is, the school is not one of the schools people talk much about in this thread, or I have not read much comments on the school here, so I seek advice on the school's rating and all or perhaps we have any member here currently running a program in the school or know someone that can advice me.
