Muyesky: Thank you so much sir, his happiness and that of everyone else is all I desire mufutau55: Muyesky, I am very impressed, as one of your follower, you are really my mentor. I know you do good job anyway.Good evening Muyesky, first I must say well done...great work you are doing here...Each time I stop by at any of ur threads, they always have a way of motivating me. Just an observation though, I noticed the house at Ijebu-Ode has not been plastered before the installation of the window, ofcourse I know its the owner's decision, I just want to say probably you should be advising your client to plaster first before installing windows and doors. Sure you remember I told you about my project, my intention was to install windows and doors before plastering too, but both my In-law who is supervising the job for me and the site engineer object seriously, and after they sited some reasons I had to concur you know . One of the reason was that it will be neater if you install after plastering as you wont have much mortal staining or falling into the rail of the window when plastering. So what he does was to have me made what he called sub-frame made of iron for the windows, which he fixed into the plastering. After plastering the windows would be screwed to the sub-frame. Take for example, the house am staying here in the south, the person that plastered the house did a very bad job, some of my windows won't open, and some you don't even want to open in the night because of horn/noice that emanates as you closes or opens them, due to the loads of mortals that fell into the hollow of the aluminum during plastering . I believe many people still prefer neat job e.g. Hajj Mufutau Sorry if I couldn't really explain the way I should like you experts, am not in anyway close, I hope you will understand. Plastering is now ongoing in my little cubicle . Hope to bring picture one day . |
infgost234: I said i go 60 questions correctly.guy, you are good... i wan 2 bliv it will be approximated. And mind you, your calculation is damn correct. |
Bros, I was going to call you yesterday, but was a little bit busy...Pls, like how many head-pan of sand per bag of cement is adequate for plastering? Someone said 18, another person said 12. What ratio did you use in plastering yours? What is the standard? |
daphor11: Advise needed please,PGD Information Technology in NOUN,hw gud are dey? Responses neededI do not want to assume I fully understand what you meant by how good they are, but I can advice you to go for it, if that's the course you really want, you wont regret it. |
donchukey: Dear juwon and fedemako, apologies for reacting the way i did but its important we give help without anger and from a sincere heart. This is a help forum, if i know i wont ask. Moreover 2years ago i lost 7k5 to noun because i was not guided. Attempts to seek redress was not answered. I am here to make enquiries so as not to make mistake twice. Its not the money spent that angers but the time spent anticipating positivity without expected result. Apology rendered, no anger intended for we are expected as human to disagree to agree. Roserbert: Sorry if my answer sounds somehow to you, and to say I might have not responded to your question but for other people who would be reading your post, + for people like you who have been posting abusive languages on this forum, probably because someone responded to their question in a way they do not like. donchukey: Dear juwon and fedemako, apologies for reacting the way i did but its important we give help without anger and from a sincere heart. donchukey: Dear Juwon, Thank you, but authoritative answers could emerge from people who have gone through such route and moreover, I did not address my question to u. I have had an experience some years back, when i applied for MSC I.T and dont want a repeat because i did not get the admission with my fee not refunded. If you dont have a reasonable answer to my question, kindly mind your business. I seek people who have done conversions and have experience on this issue. Avoid being MR ISLANDER, it will never take u anywhere. Thank u once again for the referral, am too busy.Sorry if my answer sounds somehow to you, and to say I might have not responded to your question but for other people who would be reading your post, + for people like you who have been posting abusive languages on this forum, probably because someone responded to their question in a way they do not like. The truth they say is bitter, and I sometimes wonder why some people can't just appreciates the stress this forum is saving thousands of people, nobody is under any obligation to respond to your questions, and if anybody takes the pain to do so, I believe the best and most ideal thing to do is to appreciate the person, even for stopping by at all. You said you did not address your question to Juwon, but to those who had trod the same path, but I can tell you here that, that if there is anybody who can advice you on this issue, its the same person you just abused. He just finished the same program you are planing to apply for, from the same institution. I am also running the same program presently too and Juwon has really been a blessing to me. If you also care to know, he's one of the most resourceful persons you need to meet, if truly you need info about NOUN on this thread. And to say you are too busy to visit study centre? I think you are yet to know what you are doing, I really care not to know where you work or the nature of your job, but take it or leave it, you are not the busiest person here, larger percentage of the people here also work. and that is why you should learn to appreciate the time and effort people devote into responding/answering your question. **Learn to do somethings for your self, browse www.noun.edu.ng check under the study centres, locate the Study centre close to you, numbers of Counselors are stated there. Call your to-be counselor and let him/her advise you. Shalom |

I hope you are well now.. At least we thank God it did not involve your life. Sorry to hear about that!Oooooo, sorry brother.... we can't but join you in thanking God for your life...Ti emi bawa ireti simbe, kamaa dupe ni. ijeoma obi: Juwonb, thank you. So which of the official site?www.noun.edu.ng or www.nou.edu.ng have fun |
nsidible: if a semester is 4months,does it mean,we spend 8months in 100level..plz wen will the new semester start? Thank uIn a normal and idea setting, a session shouldn't be more than 9months, even in conventional universities (forget about the "unnecessary" delay in Nigeria educational system) the rest 3months suppose to be for semester break and activities. And since now is unlike the conventionals, it is only expected of them to be faster. That is another reason why private universities completes 4yr courses in 3.5yrs |
mufutau55: You just beat me to it.. I will love to see more update from Muyesky because I enjoy looking at his simple picks of materials for poor people like us.. I am sure you aware that I have copied some of his simplicity too. I want to be like Muyesky when I grow up.U can say that again and again, his simplicity is second to none. I have always said, I like been simple and onpoint, seeing Oga Muyesky here speak volumes. And Muyesky: I av just been busy here and there trying to win more contractSure God is in control, and He's opening more flow for you, left, right front and center in no distance time |

@Admax and others still looking for CIT711 (Fundamentals of Computer) and CIT753 (Introduction to internet materials), I'll suggest you ask at your study centre, let them give you hard copy (bonded copy) you can make photocopies from. Those courses are not available online and worst still, the hard copies are scarce. So, I guess the easiest thing is to make photocopy. That's what I did too. Perhaps your study centre is close to Asaba, Delta state, you can contact me via e-mail, I'll make my copy available for you guys to make copies from. Other PGD IT students too can contact, let's see how we can help each other graduate with better grade. roserobert0902@gmail.com + DO TAKE NOTE, PDG IT MATERIALS CODE HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED IN THE E-LIBRARY SO YOU STILL GET TO SEE THEM AS GRADE 6 RATHER THAN 7 e.g. CIT703 (Information Technology and System Development) is still showing as CIT603 admax: Please Guys seriously i need your help, who can help me with CIT711 (Fundamentals of Computer) and CIT753 (Introduction to internet materials)...thank youShalom! |

Delta Honours Her Own, Blessing Okagbare Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan on behalf of the Government and People of Delta state has revealed the state's intentions of honoring their own Sapele born champion, Blessing Okagbare. Governor Uduaghan who made the announcement during a state reception held in honour of Okagbare following her brilliant performance at the 2013 World Championship in Athletics in Moscow said a Stadium would be named after her, She would be made the Delta State Youth Ambassador, Landed property in Asaba, a cash prize of N2.5m and Training grant of $120,000 per year till 2016 (3years = $360,000) to remove distraction and boost her eagerness to compete in competitions and prepare her for 2016 Olympics in Rio. Governor Uduaghan also stated that the State would work out support and training grants for at least 4 other young athletes that the state can prepare for 2016 Olympics. The Olympic and World medalist, Blessing Okagbare, while appreciating the state government for the honor done to her said she feels proud to be a Nigerian and feels blessed to be a Deltan. Okagbare who could not hold back her tears while thanking the State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for all his support prior to the success further called on Nigeria as a nation to support sport men and women, in her word, "Its a great thing to be celebrated but it should not just be only when you win laurels that you are celebrated" "It is my opinion that we can do better to achieve what we want in track and field events, its not easy for an athlete who has worked hard, hoping to achieve success at the end of a competetion to come out with nothing to show for it. It takes a lot of courage, determination and faith for such an athlete to bounce back from such a disappointment and I have been a victim of that. Because no one wants to fail even when they have not paid the price, there is a price for every success and we all have to pay it." "It is not only when an athlete becomes a champion that he/she needs support, not after winning medals but before achieving success. It is a great thing to be celebrated after achieving success for the nation and the state but it all comes down to what was done prior to the success. So, on behalf of myself and fellow athletes, I want to appeal to the Federal Government, National Assembly as well as the private sector to do more to improve track and field in Nigeria." |

. As for the concrete fixing, that will be his own bricklayer as we don't do that, we only install.......
. One of the reason was that it will be neater if you install after plastering as you wont have much mortal staining or falling into the rail of the window when plastering.
