Where it gets more challenging is that the agent that processed my application back then told me the Turkey embassy doesn't even give such letters.

Or may I ask that if anyone has a refusal letter from Turkey should please share. Help a brother.

You people should stop decalaring your visa refusal to your school. Those letters are usually generic. You just have to look for someone with a turkey refusal letter, scan and send to them since they are insisting or better yet apply to another school because they will not give you CAS.

Please I am having an issue getting past Compliance Team at the University of Sunderland, and I need help.

So back in 2019, my company was invited to Pitch one of the Products I was managing at the time at an event/competition in Turkey, and I was supposed to be one of the delegates, however, only one of us got a Turkey visa, as he was able to apply for e-visa. whereas, another colleague and I were not granted visas. No visa or refusal stamp or even a refusal letter was given.

Now, I had declared on my application that I had a visa refusal to Turkey in the past when filling my application, and I was given admission. I have paid tuition, now, the Compliance team is requesting for refusal letter to see the reason the visa was not granted.

I have done everything possible, I even called the compliance team and the person that spoke to me told me I should get a letter from the Agent that processed the application for us back then and attach it to the mail, which I did, however, I received a response from another member of the Compliance team insisting that Embassy must have given me a refusal letter and I should check again..

Please what can I do?

Pls does all these 1k, 2k 3k schools are giving on tuition count?

With any form of tuition discount(scholarship) you can get PTA without a return ticket

But while waiting, let me just chip that, in the event, you opt for going in on the 4th and she's doing walk-in with you, ensure you have a cover letter to explain the bulk amount that entered her account whilst waiting for the maturity.

I once asked a question here inflow into your POF account why counting down to the 28 days, and someone said you'll probably have to explain if you receive anything, say, > 500k within the period...

As I am like this, I am watching what goes into the account till I print my POF anything above even 100k is going to another account for now...I no want to dey explain what I could have avoided in the first place.

But my question is, is it better to wait until the 10th January for her appointment, by then the POF in her account would have matured and we can submit her own account alone or she does a walk in with me on the 4th of January that way the POF in her own account won’t cover for both of us but I can submit my account as I have another money alternatively for POF in my account as well

C'mon madam, you just stressed what Justwise been saying. We are too lousy! Even if we assume that's what everybody is doing, should that then make it the topic of discussion? Would because everyone is doing it make the wrong thing right? There is an adage in Yoruba that says, "Ile eni lati n je ekute oni dodo" meaning, there are some things you do in your own room and not bring to the public place for all to see. An example of that is the "arranged" POF that you're talking about.

I also do not think it is right to generalize it or how did you get this your 99% stat? I for one know a lot of people can pull the POF though.

You will need to open an account with a bank to use for Form A.

Urgent please!!! A friend is to travel to the UK in 2 days time and just realised his passport will expire in February. He has 2 years UK visit visa and wants to spend only 4 weeks. He will be back before his visa expires. Will this era of long wait to renew passport, can he still use this passport or must the passport have a 6 months validity to enter UK? Thanks

You can try Globus Bank. People have also testified to Wema Bank and sterling. If you can avoid GTB for now...their reviews on this thread have been something else, since the days of hardcopy form A.

Make sure you have the money in the account you are using.

If you are yet to submit your form, you can try Globus Bank. Make sure your form is filled with the correct info, and attach all relevant documents. You should be debited in 2days.

While using the form A, do you have to deposit funds in the account or you wait till you are told to do so.

when I applied for my visa, I had 8m in my account which was already 1m more that the requirement for my POF, and after that there was like 1m coming into the account for like 9 days. lol I haven't gotten my passport yet, hopefully this week. but from the paid email I sent, I was told a decision has already been made. I didn't even get a NSF email.

but another thing to factor in was that I paid my tuition in full, so maybe it gave them so kind of impression. to be honest i think it depends on the officer reviewing your application.

edit: i also want to add a lot of opposing views are also valid. you dont want to stress yourself with this plus extra added days to your application timeline. i wasn't even aware of the possibility of verifying the money coming into my account. if i was aware i would just have kept it at the required amount and left the account

To be honest I don't know. For instance, I received a nsf mail last week to show evidence of deposit into my account above 1m. I had to scan deposit tellers of these payments to ukvi. U can imagine if I dint have these tellers.
So it is best not to show money above 1m in ur soa.
Just avoid the stress.
Am waiting for a favorable response from them this coming week.

Please help share your opinion on this.

I was having a random chat with a friend today on things to be careful of when packaging applications and he said "once you start counting your 28-days PoF maturity, ensure you don't receive a substantial amount of money in the same account, else you'll have to explain the source of the money". So in context, if you need 5m for PoF and you already have 5m+ in the account, ensure any deposit coming to the account within the maturity period is something below say, 50k per transaction. if you drop say like 500k or 1m in the account, you'll have to explain the source of the money.

I kind of disagree with him, I believe the concern should be the money not going below the required amount. In the case where 5m PoF is required, and the opening balance is 5m, even if the closing balance is 7m, it shouldn't be an issue.

Please am I right or he is?

You should be fine with your O level result so far you have Credit in English. You can also try get proof of proficiency in English from the school you finished your first degree.

I have been trying to fill my 'immigration history' under the University of Sunderland student's portal, but it has been to no avail.
It keeps refreshing the page asking me to input the same details I have keept on putting, which is my country of origin and country of residence. I filled 'Nigeria' and 'Nigerian'

I don't know what to do, I don't want to think that the red list ban is the one affecting my submission.
