Mellorix: Hi All,

I have a plan to start up a Project , I am just a young struggle guy,but I have some questions. I would like to build a small 3 bedroom flat in delta state. I don’t have a land yet but I would like to know what I am getting myself into if it’s worth it.

1. Would 2 Million be able to start something up? If yes – to what extent.
2. What is the average price of Land in Delta state mayb 100 x100 or 100x 50
3. How much approximately will it cost me to Fence 100 x100 land.
4. Do you think I should go ahead? (I only have 2M in my account sadly).

Thanks guys .. im looking forward to hearing from you..
Mellorix: Hi havana,

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately the 2M is part of the Land Purchase. sad i am looking to see if i can get any where with 2M for a start. If not theres no point even starting (I think) - how much do you think Land would cost me? and how do i go about searching for one...

Thanks.
Which part of Delta state are you looking at Asaba, Warri, Abraka, Okpanam e.t.c. you need to specify that first.

Like they say, you can take a pig out of the dirt, but you can't take the dirt out of the pig. It is also true that a child destined to sleep on the floor, even if he's put on a waterbed, will always show the trait that he's not meant for such honour.

Maybe such can be used to describe a female singer, who was only fortunate to taste glamour, but believes she would always remain her real self, a ghetto girl. Or, how would you describe a lady, who grew up like a normal village girl, but only enjoyed a life of a celeb because luck smiled at her, but now, she is forgetting how she worked, suffered to climb to the top. Maybe she has forgotten that a river that forgets its source will surely dry up. Like they say, absolute power corrupts a man, but this time, a woman too.

Enough of all these digressions and now to the crux of the matter.

According to information available to us, Omowumi has allegedly shown again why she might not be a good role model to young girls. Recall that she had a child out of wedlock, which made some parents to advise their wards, who were earlier looking up to her, not to copy her at all because getting a child out of wedlock is against a typical Nigerian culture. Now, the Warri-born singer-cum-actress has been alleged of attacking a photo-journalist at an event held in Lagos recently.

While carrying out his lawful duty, the photo-journalist, Adekola Bamigbala attempted to take pictures of Omawumi, but little did he know that danger was lurking around for him, as the singer allegedly pounced on him, snatched his big camera and with it, dealt him heavy strikes in the face in quick succession, which gave Bamigbala a swollen face. It was big and strange flashes, not from his camera, but from alleged assaults from Omawumi that the journalist could see.

Nigeriafilms.com called Omawumi, but a lady, who claimed not to be her, refused to speak with us when we explained why we called. But the voice Nigeriafilms.com heard sounded like Omawumi, which made us to believe probably the singer is not willing to speak with us on the matter.

Nigeriafilms.com immediately sent an SMS to her (Thursday), which has not yet been replied to four days after.

However, Nigeriafilms.com called the victim, who explained the incident to us. Bamigbala wondered why Omawumi would descend so low to attack him.

When asked if they have had issues before that day, Bamigbala said he can't remember any.

Azone: This is great, I like your attitude towards this and the passion you have.

Many people this days dont see this, they might have spent 3m on what they themselves dont understand.

I would like to know your honest opinion, I know you are building a 3 bedroom, but would 700k build a ROOM & PARLOR SELCONTAIN?

I would just like to have an idea of it, please share your thought.

Thanks
Let me just buttress point already established by friends here that, 700k definitely won't be enough! With that noted, let me also say most importantly that 700k is not bad to start with. one thing I personally have come to understand about building is that, you must not have all the required fund before you start, just take the bold step, go ahead and do something with what you are having presently with you. There is this joy seeing something springing up, dream coming through, it motivates you to strive more and in no time you will be suprised what you have been able to achieve.

Shalom!

Thank you very much sir,

Please I like to know (let's say on a rough estimation) like how many bags of cements will be enough for plastering a 3 bedroom flat in and out and flooring (A sitting room, dinning, 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, and a store - just of d size of bathroom) + suck-away. Mr. Muyesky, I wouldn't mind if you can tell me howmany you used for yours.

what should be d thickness of the plaster?

Remain blessed!

As seen on the INEC Nigeria facebook page, APC has come to stay. The press statement released some minutes ago by the Secretary to the commission Abdullahi A. Kaugama reads..,
PRESS STATEMENT

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved the application by three political parties – the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) – to merge into one, to be known as the All Progressives Congress.

On considering the application, the Commission found that the applicant-parties have met all statutory requirements for the merger, and has accordingly granted their request.

Consequently, the Commission has approved the withdrawal of the individual certificates of the applicant-parties, and the issuance of a single certificate to the All Progressives Congress.

Roserbert: Atimes, its always good τ̲̅ȍ put ourselves in people's shoe before we condemn their acts, let's out sentiments aside.
Let's try and see the girl's act from this point, you sent your daughter τ̲̅ȍ school, let's assume, you continue paying all the required monies, and after a year or two you, you got call that your beloved daughter has ran into one emir's palace, she has ceased τ̲̅ȍ be a student, let's not even bring religion into this, who would you feel?

They sent you to school, you quit schooling and u didn't return home.

Some questions I'll av love τ̲̅ȍ ask d girl, @25...
1. Why did you decide τ̲̅ȍ quit school? Did you failed, were you rusticated, or just got tired it?

2. Why did you decided not τ̲̅ȍ go home after you stop going τ̲̅ȍ school.

3. Were you forced τ̲̅ȍ go to school against your wish?

4. Have you ever had any strong misunderstanding with your parents, about what you want τ̲̅ȍ be in life prior τ̲̅ȍ your conversion, that makes you think, your parents' home would no longer be safe for you now that you have changed your faith?

5. When have you stopped going τ̲̅ȍ school?

These and many more are questions I would have love τ̲̅ȍ ask the girl in question. Even as in my own perspective, the interview is one side, and journalism says a writer is not suppose τ̲̅ȍ align himself with the oppressor against the oppressed. I rest my case.
Many of us still fails τ̲̅ȍ notice sometin in d write-up, everything is not about religion, let's talk some senses here....

If she has been such a good girl, why did she quit schooling without her parents knowing...
She quit school after first year, now she's 25, she suppose τ̲̅ȍ have graduated by now, where has she been all this while? Probably, her poor parent have started noticing, she should av graduated by now, then she is using religion τ̲̅ȍ cover-up.

What are U insinuating here? what's wrong in saying "thank you" to somebody that knows the right thing and actually does it, whether its his money or state money is not the issue here, its the heart that did that people are appreciating not the pocket where the money is coming from.

How many people have we lost to common diseases, do u av any idea how many children dies in Nigeria everyday due to lack of care? If he (Uduaghan) did not help, are we going to arrest him or ask him to leave office because of that?

Glory be to God,
when I first heard of the boy's ailment, one of the places I posted the guy's case was here on Nairaland https://www.nairaland.com/1279421/please-support-let-tega-live , but as God would have it, the post didn't generate much response from fellow nairalanders probably because it didn't make the home page, but God has a planned way to work out His deeds in the boy's life. The facebook forum, Umeh Needs Road, is just one of the places I took his matter to, and to God be the glory, somebody heard the voice of the voiceless and they took it up. THIS IS NOT TO RECOUNT EFFORT MADE BY SOMEONE OR TO GIVE GLORY TO ANYBODY THAN GOD, BUT TO ENCOURAGE THOSE AT THE VERGE OF LOOSING HOPE NOT TO BUT TO HANG ON THERE, GOD HAS A PLAN FOR THEM. AND SOMETIME, HIS PLAN IS FAR FROM OURS. Just try one more time, try again and there you are.
Today, our song is that of joy because we are sure we are not going to loose Tega.
While thanking God, Governor Uduaghan and the UNRF, its my prayer that God will continue to make us His instruments of peace here on earth.
