The good Lord said 'it is not good for man to be alone". This is a normal part of life. Infact I believe you are ready to fall in love. but the question is who are you going to fall in love with?my 2 cents is keep doing good things u enjoy doing. if it is going to library,work,  volunteering, church, skool, mosque, etc u may see someone u like. if yu  like her u could be urself and start small talk and move on from there. I am no relationship expert but I believe this works very well. u may go through her friend or just find oppurtunities to bring up casual disscussions like the weather, the teacher, the job, and u could drop some compliments and just test the waters. from what I read in ur post , you are looking for the real thing . I must say that the real thing is step by step . for some its oneday thing for some it takes time. the summary is be casual , let one thing lead to another. it may totally blow a lady off if u say "I am interested in u", to me it would be better to say "hi , d'u know the way to the library? or lets say 'hi , that sermon was good ,what d'u think about it?' u know just casual, every day talk. let one thing lead to the other. my 2 cents.

I am so sorry to hear your friend was raped. this is indeed a serious issue and I believe it should be handled professionally. I would encourage her to go for medical check up first (check 4 AIDs, stds etc). secondly I would encourage her to alk to a trusted person in authority. maybe her pastor, or therapist/counselor/imam. but the key word is pple she can trust to keep their mouth shut and understand her. On your part, I would encourage you to listen to her, pray 4 her, just listen ,sometimes traumatic victims just need pple to listen , (not necessarily advise her). I would also encourage her to try as much as possible to mind whom she tells the story to.( there are mockers out there). in future she may want to narrate it to her spouse ,her life is not going to remain the same again.but a really negative situation like this could motivate her in the future to fight for the rights of other women of course with God's help. I shall add her in my prayers .

I want to gather a list of godly singles who I know personally. I am thinking of involving them in the hooking game. evry one would look out for each other.I am thinking of begining the game soon by collecting a list of numbers of the single christian guys I know, and then my single christian gurl friends. then I would set up a blind date for them. does this idea sound good , does anyone have suggestions on how this can work. anywayz I just want to do it with pple I know personally, good christians who would maintain purity even in dating relationships.
any suggestions or ideas? has anyone done it b4 ? how did it go?

I think that your statement is a bit to general. I am 22 but I'm not thinking of marriage yet. I need to get a career and enjoy my early twenties to the fullest . I enjoy my single life but if I get into a relationship with a godly guy , I would still have to make decisions, based on his character, as to whether I can settle down with him or not. when a guy just asks me out and all that stuff I don't think of marriage . I think of him getting to know me /me getting to know him better and even if we don't marry , he can show me by his behavior what a godly man looks like, and I on my part can be an example and show him what a godly woman looks like ( by God's grace).I have never asked a guy "if he is going to marry me". I am secure and believe that , I am going to get married someday. I focus more on my career/character/ motherhood skills. I hope that helps

I am sorry to hear about your situation . I shall add you in my prayers. situations like this need wisdom. but anywayz I believe that since we live in U.S(a foreign land), a nigerian girl/man needs to be more open. to me ,its not about race but about who people really are and of course love.The issue here is that many parents don't seem to accept that. Maybe if you keep talking to your mom about it ,she may change her mindset.

even David a man of God fell into sexual sin but he faced the consequences. if you as a woman cheat always remember that "you are the other woman",. People should not dishonor the marriage be. marriage should have meaning. the Bible says
"keep the marriage bed pure". once people get married, singles everywhere must realize that the woman or man is out of bounds. each person is responsible for their actions especially in this day of AIDS and all that stuff .do not risk few minutes of pleasure for a career, family, guilt ,hell fireetc. The Bible says that an adulterer lacks sense . It would destroy his vital organs. proverbs 7. my 2 cents. if a single woman/man contribute to the destruction of other people's marriages , don't be suprised when urs would be destroyed. if a married man treats women as trash don't be suprised if other men treat your sister/daughter as trash.

oh my goodness. I'd say men that feel too cool. hellooo that really pisses me off. I love humble men .why the over feeling .

I hear a lot of pple focusing more on money b4 love.I know money is equally important but I think it is important to marry for love . because a marriage built on love is more likely to stand stronger .
I hear folks focus on outward beauty but I believe inward /outward are equally important.but I believe inward beauty is the most important. I believe inward beauty should be priority coz I believe it is more likely to stand the test of time. can you share with us your opinions on this subject.

I am a nursing student. I loved acting in 9ja. but I'm not sure where to start from in the states. I would love to act. I also love to sing/dance. any one got ideas how I can start my acting/ any one got any music group looking for singers. Anywayz pls, I need practical ideas .
