I abbided by the instructions and secured admission already in my first try and best course.

Please i have a sponsor willing to cater for me in Germany throughout my studies; who is also of German origin.

She mailed me demanding a copy of my health insurance in addition.

Quoted below is a fraction of her letter addressed to:

Ich möchte Herrn (my name), wohnhaft in Asaba einladen, in Deutschland sein Studium zu absovieren. Herr (my name) hat seitens der Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Würzburg-Schweinfurt einen Zulassungsbescheid für ein Studium bekommen.

(consider the section i translated in English):

"The undersigned of this letter personally undertakes to cover all costs, including any repatriation costs, as well as accommodation and food. Even in a case of illness, I come up for the costs, which are not covered by the conclusion of a health insurance. I can hereby confirm the conclusion of a health insurance, see attachment.

I am aware that (my name) is not allowed to work during his stay."

NOTE: This is her application for sponsorship letter which i am supposed to show at the embassy.

Please this is my question is, i haven't read anywhere in this thread of similar senerio.
I am worried because this my sponsor, though we've known each other (over two decades now), is in her 70s and i really wouldn't want her to stress about this even though she willingly would do anything to help me.
i dont ever wanna exploit her.
Kindly guide me on how to go about this:
Either getting insurrance or advising her appropriately.
She hasn't done this before!

I didn't apply again after the one on Friday. Just got a mail by 10 this morning with the date. My enrollment deadline is October 31st

Bross, I applied on Friday too but unfortunately I didn't get response from them till around 7:30am this Monday morning.
What follows? I took my time around 8:05am to re apply again this early morning of Monday, fortunately I got this mail exactly around 8:15am saying;
Dear Sir,

 

You will get an appointment as soon as possible.

So, I just dey calm till tomorrow but if anything no show I will know the next step to take.

I booked on Friday evening, and was hoping to hear from them latest this morning, but I haven't. At what point do I have to be worried and probably resend the mail?

Those booking interview today, try and do it before 9 am. The earlier the better and you will get date today if you do it right without error.

Don't forget to update your date as soon as you get it.

funny thing I didnt even write Ielts. I just submitted language proficiency like that.

please o, for those that have funded, is it possible to fund the account in parts or must it be all at once. I have about 3 people in different countries contributing for me and I will like to know if it is possible to have them credit the account straight, or if they must have to send the money to me. thanks

I believe what is written on their website is that the visa fee is 75euro (payable in naira) with no exchange rate quoted. which still leads to my question if anyone has an idea of the exchange rate they use! If you have that information, it wouldn't cost you anything to just say it or just ignore the post if you don't.

Please o, for clarification purposes....how much Una say nipost Dey collect to send to Germany? I can see some people mentioning 1800-2000 and even 300 Sef�. I was at their office in Lagos and was told it will cost me 12k. Abeg, what am I not doing right?

The system is Germany runs from 1.0 to 4.0, with 1.0 being the best, like our 5.0 here in naija. So on the German scale, a 2.0 is higher than a 2.2

They sent me a mail that I should help fill a form for carrying over credits from school. They said admission list will be out by month end or early next month. That's for materials chemistry and mineralogy though, but I guess it should be about the same timeline with yours since the two courses have the same deadline.

Hello my gurus in the house. I am a newbie to this and I seek a little explanation. I have tried searching for a university to apply to, for MSC in Engineering and their requirements is a bit confusing. Most of them ask for a gp of 3.0/4.0 in the last two years of study, but still ask international students to check out the minimum international degree equivalence page, where the requirement for Nigeria is always a 2'1.
My question now is, if i have a 2.1, should i forget about the 3.0/4.0 part, or do I have to convert my last two years' gp to a 4.0 scale?
