With my heart finally at ease and full of joy, I wish to announce that my Almighty AM has dropped.

My journey started around this same time last year. I initially wanted to go to Norway and started following the thread, but I somehow stumbled on the German thread and I have been on it from that day. I don't go a day without opening the thread and I have read from part 2 to the last page on the current part.

I applied to about 3 schools for summer semester 2018. They all rejected me (with good reasons though) except for FAU that rejected me just because of cetification. I was heartbroken.

I only applied to those 3 schools for summer because I didn't want to go through UNIASSIST because of financial reasons.

TIMELINE:

Applied for Admission: 02-12-2017
Opened Fintiba: 20-12-2017
Received Admission: 13-02-2018
Interview: 28-05-2018
Sent blocked account confirmation: 15-06-2018
AM dropped: 25-06-2018.


I am not sure where I am going yet. I have admission for University of Freiberg. (Environmental Geoscience)

Still expecting from Leibniz universitat Hannover (Water Resourses and Environmental Management), University of Bayreuth( Environmental Geography) and Kiel (Marine Geoscience).

The one month wait for the AM was really a tough one. Even though I was very confident of my interview, I was still kinda worried.

Thank you all for all the assistance here. I use myself as a point of contact to all those still expecting, it will get to us all in Jesus name.

Onto the next phase.

No need to disagree. It is written on the embassy document checklist that they accept ONLY birth certificate from NPC.
So you can go and argue with embassy

The form should be typed. Coloured or not, shouldn't matter. Senior waec is enough and yes, age declaration must be deposed by head of family.... Forget about the birth certificate as you were born before 1992. They won't accept it.

I believe your answer to maintaining permanent residence outside Germany should be Yes, in Nigeria (assuming you don't have residence status in another country). Then tick yes for the 12 months question.

I will advise you to be serious with your studies now to make the best possible grades, finish your 100 level first and probably apply next year. Meanwhile within that time, take your time to read up previous pages of this thread. I don't think there's any type of question you would want to ask that has not been answered previously here.

This kind of question is very annoying! On almost every page of this thread you will see that your sponsor must be residing in germany, yet people keep asking same question. It is not unreasonable or a punishment when you are asked to read the thread from the first page, it is for your own good.

My visa interview *Transcript*....I go there by exactly 6:30 Mr Paulinus was already there. For my mind, "how far guy u dey sleep here"?. I was told by those hustlers that I need to photocopy date page(coloured). I didn't have so I did it 1000 before going to meet Paulinus. As usual, the man dey strict like mad, but if u get all d docs and dey smart, u nor to get issue. After arranging, we went inside. (Note, Mr paulinus said he is now lenient due to resumption is close, so if he drives one back, u won't have time again to book appointment). He didn't drive anyone even one gal that was just misbehaving and making several mistakes.

I don't think it matters. Besides you don't need to specify your whole address to book. They are OK with your city alone. There's a reason it's place of residence and not residential address. One love!

You might still be able to get admission for winter, but getting appointment for visa is going to be another issue. I will advise you focus on summer or winter next year. Start now to get yourself prepared

That means both courses were restricted. It's difficult getting admission in courses like that. You should be looking out for unrestricted courses. Theres a much higher chance of you getting admission for unrestricted courses

I applied as early as possible, since January now got rejected, it's painful
