What they needed were soft copies of my documents, no mention of certifying anything. FAU was advanced materials and processes, and Bremen was materials chemistry and mineralogy. I think the problem is that people just want info sharp sharp and are not putting in enough effort. I spent days going through each school's requirements on daad.de eliminating those that didn't favour me, before settling for these 3. Having spent some money earlier chasing the 'Canadian dream' , I knew I had to work hard to make this one click, with the little funds I had. I will advice others to do same. The benefit of starting your search on time. dailydolar: didn't you send your document to them which one did u send ? Also which course did you apply for in FAU and Bremen |

RWTH Aachen, Uni-Bremen, FAU Nürnberg - Erlangen If you have been following the thread, I don't need to tell you the school that rejected me! Lol. You should also have to check with your particular course at these universities as they may have a different requirement. Eg. I hear a lot of people talking about certifying your documents for FAU, I wasn't asked to certify o. stateboy8080: List of those schools pls. It will be nice others benefit from such in future. |

I think everybody has their own story. My 3 considerations while applying were: no tuition, no uniassist and no sending of hard copy documents (before admission decision is made). I did that because I knew I didn't have any single kobo to 'waste' In the end, I applied to 3 schools, and I had 2 admissions. So experiences differ. Because it worked one way for somebody, does not mean it won't work another way for another person. Hulkimiliano: I disagree with the uni assist stuff. All d schools I applied to without uni assist no admission, I applied through uni assist and 2 schools gave me admission out of 3 |

Oga Mi, i hail o. You do well. But how did you jump from myth 3 to 7? I am not understanding. Lol. Ride on Eke40seven: Wow! This thread is moving at the speed of light!
I hope your interviews and dates and admissions are going all as planned.
I have been busy so couldn't really continue with my myth bursters as planned but I will try.
Myth 7 Germany is fun! Germany is beautiful, the people are super duper nice and courteous.... You wouldn't experience physical or aggressive racism. Most of the cities are safe and crime free! But one thing German is not, is "fun"... You must double your hustle, remove your mind off Saturdays owambes, there will be no mogbo moyas, you will not tear up players at viewing centres, no street dances and performances by promoters at computer village, no drama on the streets... Have a fill of these when as you leave Naija... Germany is work work work work work.... You are working hard at school and you are working hard at work! No time is free, free time is a sin..... Your anthem is, "everyday I'm hustling, everyday, I'm hustling..." By Rick Ross.... However, NSIG is trying hard to organise events to make people come out more and relate. To kill depression and make you have a feel of home... Germany is a very beautiful country in and out but be ready, be very very ready. |

While booking for your flight tickets, try scheduling your departure between Tuesday to Thursday. Flights are usually cheaper on those days and could save you a few quids. |

There is absolutely not that is not on this trend if only "the lazy youth will read" to prove buari wrong. Stay well. Germo here I come. |

I am not sure about the information he gave you. Anyway, different schools have different requirements. You should browse the individual course websites you are interested in and determine whether they need things like gre or not. kfrosh: Thanks so much for your reply. I will start doing extensive research on it since I have a chance.
Do I have to take the GRE? I have TOEFL already. |

2.9? I know most schools take 2.5, while some may go down to 2.7, but 2.9 ....me no know o. He has to confirm. Obinnalex: Yes it’s possible to get admitted into MSc program with your 2.37 GPA. Your GPA according to German scale is 2.9 (keep in mind that 1.0 is the highest possible grade in Germany and 4.0 means failure. Unlike In Nigeria where 5.0 means 1st class and 1.00 means failure). So bro you have a chance. You just have to find the right school to apply to and make sure that the course you are applying to won’t be restricted. I will also advice that you apply for Bsc too as you are applying for Msc, just Incase things doesn’t work out. Wish you the best |

Rimz28: My passport will be expiring by May next year and I want to apply for winter semester next year and most schools will start application before May and can I use it to apply like that or can I apply a new one before it expires. You can only apply for student applicant visa with iniassist letter, and the German embassy in Nigeria does not issue student applicant visa.... You can only get student visa... 2 different things walexies: As for your visa issues, we are a student advisory organization, thus we are not able to provide you with any sort of confirmation letter that you could submit for your visa application. However, you can apply for prospective student visa with the confirmation letter from Uni-Assist stating that your application has been forwarded to the business school.
Check this link below for more information on visa application:
https://www.daad.de/deutschland/nach-deutschland/bewerbung/en/9199-visas/
Furthermore, anyone that has booked for appointment successfully using letter from uni-assist should please advise and share his/her experience(s), this would be of great help to us all. |

There's a space just under it where you write the country you would like to retain permanent residence in, did you fill that? If you filled Nigeria there, the embassy might understand that you made an honest mistake Yungsholly04: Hello guys, please I have a problem. I already did my interview but I think I made a mistake when filling my application form. The question regarding you intend to maintain your permanent residency outside republic of Germany which I think I wrongly stated NO to the question. Please is there a way I can correct this even after the interview. Please urgent suggestion is needed |
