You book student visa appointment by mail. Every other method is not for student visa

If you plan using public health insurance in Germany, I got my travel insurance free of charge when I booked my health insurance with TK. I posted about it here, but the Mod deleted it. I dunno y

I think you have to write the consulate to send you a note that you will not be able to apply for visa this winter as there are no more appointment dates. You send the note to fintiba and they will process your refund. Have you been trying to apply for date since?

If the school says u cannot differ, you will have to reapply again next year. Meanwhile as u wait to reapply, start to hustle for the 8640 Euros that you need to block. I really don't think there's any magic you can do to go this winter. Sorry I'm blunt, but that's how it is. Take it on the chin and plan for next year

I actually tried differing to winter, I sent a mail to that effect and this was the mail I received 2 days ago.
I will really appreciate your candid opinions that could be of help because I really need to act fast because the timeline is just too short

You major issue is that you cannot get a visa appointment in time to meet up with ur enrollment deadline. I will advise you defer that admission to next semester

I pray I can give my interview transcript and testimony here too just like others.
This is the issue; and I hope I can find solutions here.
I applied for EuroMPM in Fachhochschule Dortmund
University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Germany with the orientation that it's a tuition free masters program; of course I am well aware I'll have to pay for my living expenses, transportation costs etc. and I am ready to handle that. Not until I finally got a mail on 20/08/2018 that "The status of your online application in the university portal changed", I logged in and alas I've been offered admission.
I was extremely happy until when I got to know of "proof of financial means" for visa vis-a-vis when I'm expected to be in Germany and then when the course starts fully.
I received a mail that I've been admitted to the school on 20/08/2018, I'm expected to be in Germany between 1st and 30th September and course work starts fully 15/10/2018.
Looking at the proof of financial means, the duration is just too short for me to gather [€8640] about 3.5 million to open and send to a German block account...
I don't know anyone is Germany that can provide a sponsorship certificate for me to use for my visa and the duration is also too short to get a scholarship.
I tried to defer the admission but I got a negative response that I will have to reapply in 2019, which the admission isn't sure then.
Does anyone have an helpful opinion? I believe there must be someone here that had similar issue and was able to scale through... I'd really appreciate your candid suggestions and opinions cos this is the time I need it most.

I will be going there this winter, to rwth not fh though. I hear there are jobs available, but accommodation might be a bit difficult to find sha. It's an engineering town, so adding u to the number of ladies there is a big plus lol. It's a lil lively,
but if u are big on parties, Amsterdam and cologne are not so far off

Hello everyone, I got last minute admission from FH Aachen on the ground that some cancelled their admission meanwhile I was rejected by same school earlier in June. Their mail said enrollment deadline is 10th September while my interview is on the 13th September if all things been equal. They categorical said no room for extension. My question for those who might have experienced such is that, can I enroll in person or paying the student's fee will be sufficient pending when visa is secured? Please I will appreciate every individuals option. Thank you.

He can't use the old one once he has renewed it. Cancelled will be stamped on the old one. He should kukuma present the two of them at the embassy

Well its not an issue just get the new one once AM comes out send the old one when u get to Germany and u want to extend present the new one for extension .

For your friend let him do new passport and collect the afdidafit in case embassy ask question about the old one and he should make sure his details remain same .

Contrary to what you said, your picture must not be in biographically old document. I used my vaccination card and it had no picture. Even if my 2 month old passport was on it,
do you think I will still look like that now? .

Yes, it's necessary you take the prepaid envelope along with you, unless you don't intend to get your visa and documents after interview.

If there's no other options left available for you, you may use the old international passport, but we don't want to have a problem of the consulate mistakenly putting the visa on your old passport, that's why people do avoid using it. Alternatively you can use your school ID card, national ID card, drivers license etc as this docs contain your pictures and details.

The biometric specifications is 35mm by 45mm. And your face should cover 3/4 of the entire picture.

Mine was issued with the present date. The VO asked when I got the certificate, I told him I went back to the school this year to collect it, and he didn't say any other thing.

If you booked your interview or opened your BA with the old passport, make a copy of the old passport as well and take it along
