CareerRe: I Qualified As A Chartered Accountant With ICAN & ACCA In The Same Diet by rossi5(f): 7:30pm On Nov 19, 2016
hayoakins:
After wasting over 4 years in Lagos State University (part time) due to the epileptic academic calendar, I decided to combine with my full time banking job, a full time academic program and my professional qualification exams (ICAN and ACCA). To friends and family, it was an academic and career suicide mission but little did they know that my zeal to make up for the wasted years outweighs any logical, technical, financial or mental constraints. Having to stay up almost all night for over 4 years finally paid off.

I remember how my GP dropped from 3.78/4.00 to 2.87 when some lecturers felt insulted that a student who doesn't attend lectures was among the top 5%. They never knew I had Indian professors mentoring me on YouTube with Google at my call. I remember having to double my study time to still graduate against all odds with 3.35/4.00.

I remember days I stayed up all night at NYSC orientation camp studying for ICAN paper I had to sit for a day after being discharged from camp and ACCA papers while my platoon members and flat mates were flexing at mammi market.

I remember when I had to run away from been a guard commandant after been shortlisted when parade rehearsal was competing with my study time, having to also hide unto the bunk to miss the ever boring NYSC SAED lectures just to cover my exam syllabus. The sacrifices all paid off this day

ACCA and ICAN certified in the same year, in the same diet with two (2) ACCA awards in the bag.

Thanks to my boss who gave me time off when I needed it most.

To my mentees, the thought of never wanting you to give up against all odds got me going when giving up seems like the easiest option.

The thought of wanting the street kids to look at me and say because of you, we didn't give up got me this far.

The prayer of a praying mother also avails much more

Success is up for grab to whoever is willing to pay the price. ©Ayobami

The future is up for grab, I grabbed mine yesterday ©Ayobami

Whoever you are, where ever you are from, dreams come true to those who are willing to pay the price. No price, no prize.

The journey was stormy but I never took my eyes off the prize (this day) . #NoPrice #NoPrize

This is dedicated to all the streetkids who never sold their dreams on the alter of a few minutes pleasure and who had to run the race all alone. Never ever give up.

I dont think you shld try palmers tho, it works like mad buh it uses hydroquinone as its active agent wch is nt good for d skin

makari de suisse day lightening cream works, even d qei u re using lightens buh u have to use it nd d serum together(for these creams pls make sure u go to a shop dt carries their original or u'l b dissapointed)
To get faster results of any lightening cream u choose use it morning n night esp night, after cleansing @ nite(likas papaya is a good lightening soap to cleanse wit), apply some lemon or lime juice all over ur face(it'll sting a bit) leave to dry on ur face, then wash off and apply d cream, wit d combined effect of natural lightening agent and ur cream, u'll begin to see visible diff in 8-10 days, wen u have achieved ur desired tone discontinue d use of d lemon then use d cream only to maintain ur new complexion n u can reduce to once a day use... Do not forget to buy a sunscreen of 30% n above b4 buying any lightenin soap or cream, if not u'll just b wasting ur efforts n money; not using a sunscreen might be d reason y u darkend in d first place... Neutrogena's range of sunblocks works well
Nice contribution.. Can u please givean example of sunscreen

FashionRe: Lose Weight, Get Glowing Skin And Healthy Hair All At Once by rossi5(f): 8:50am On Jul 05, 2016
Belleladiva:
I love looking good, it's one of my personal obsessions and I believe everyone should always invest in achieving the best version of their physical appearance. In other to do that, maintaing a healthy weight should be the ideal goal. There was a time in my life when I was obsessed with looking like a super model. Think Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Miranda Kerr. That was fun though I later realised that it was totally unrealistic for my body type. I mean if I weighed 50-55 kg then I would be all head. Lol. So I decided to settle for a weight that would make me look more healthy and normal. I had to take my BMI into consideration. I also wanted to eat for glowy skin and healthy hair. So I ran to Google and read tons of articles and I came up with a list of foods that will help me threefold.
1. Help me lose/maintain my weight
2. Give me glowing skin
3. Encourage healthy hair growth

1. Avocado
This fruit packs a punch. It is high in fiber and that means it will help to regulate your bowel movements. Emptying your bowels on a regular basis will help minimize bloating. It will also make you feel less hungry. That means you are less likely to overeat and gain extra weight. Avocado is also one of the popular foods that is recommended for healthy glowing skin. You can even use it as a face mask or a hair mask. Some of the nutrients in avocado is believed to encourage healthy hair growth. So I always make sure to stock up on avocados weekly and I eat 2 or 3 daily. It is quite tasty too.

2. Green tea
I wouldn't bore you by listing all the benefits of green tea. I believe it is common knowledge. But the fact that it is a fat shedding ninja, gives me amazing glowing skin and also contributes to my hair growth makes it the holy grail of all foods. I mean it is just fabulous. I take 4 cups of green tea every single day. I don't add any sweetner because I don't want to lower its potency. Start drinking green tea today and you'll thank me later. I also use it to rinse my hair after deep conditioning. Sometimes I use it as a toner. I mean this tea is just AWESOME!

3. Carrots
This crunchy goodness will give you glowing skin overtime and the fiber it contains will aid your weight loss journey. But do you know that carrot contributes to hair growth and thicker hair? You can use it as a deep condiotioning treatment to prevent hair loss and shedding. Blend or juice a carrot or two and add a little honey and olive oil and voila, you'll have an all natural hair treatment. You use carrots in your smoothies or just drink the juice. The beta carotene it contains will help revitalise your body internally and externally.

[quote]While y'all are rushing to apply,u must also know the hazards that come with the job! Basic salary is 75k, contract staff are not entitled to upfront payment, profit sharing, leave allowance or 13th month. Cash and teller unit must work saturday and sunday to monitor the atm, you must be ready to become SLAVES to professional staff which includes keeping shut during meetings, you mustn't contribute while your elders are talking if u want to have peace all tru your stay. The contract is 2yrs, but can be renewed after that if u are unlucky, if you have strong connections or have made connections during this 2yrs and your record is flawless, u would be retained as ET. What else......you may have a total of 4-6 appraisals for the 2yrs, make sure you don't get a B! It has to be an A or B+. Be prepared to take a lot of crap from your colleagues afterall you are not a staff of the bank yet as your name wouldn't be recorded in the staff directory of the bank. Goodluck y'all. [/qouote]it's still a good place to start whether contract or not...graduates are out there collecting as low as 40 50 k

Talking about building a duplex with 6.5m, the first question that will come to ones mind is which location? I will say yes if you are building it in a remote location up-country. If in a place where a plot of land goes for 20k, trip of sand goes for 4k and with cheap labour like N300per day, trust me it can and I mean it with prove. However, if its in the city of Lagos or abuja where N6.5m can not afford a plot of land, then this topic is dead on arrival. You may need to tell the house you planed location for more candid opinion.

Use apple cider vinegar as a final rinse after washing your hair to get healthy and shiny hair.

hi Everyone,

its a New Year, time to to reveal that new skin you always wanted...

chemical peeling/exfoliation is a procedure done to remove that dead top layer skin (when i say top layer, i meant Top layer) not some removing dirt, deep-cleansing kind of skin exfoliation.

alot of people go about it the totally wrong ways and way more people dont even know what it is altogether.

chemical exfoliation can rejuvenate your skin dramatically, when done right.
a few of them are:

glycolic acid
lactic acid
mandelic acid
salicylic acid
and more...

dont just go buy a peel and rub on your skin and complain it didnt work. you gat to know how to do it.

so, here we are. join me lets talk.
