Ngozi123: No one wants to 'steal' anything. Should Biafra be realised, the oil revenue will be controlled by the oil producing communities. The non-oil producing communities should use their natural or human resources to create more revenue for themselves. STORY. So when 'President Nnamdi Kanu' is sworn into power, and directs Delta oil earnings to be forwarded to the treasury, you will tell him "no, go and mine coal in Enugu"? Who do you think you are deceiving, young woman? Do you realise that some of us here are old enough to be your father? |

Before we were amalgamated was there oil? No. All through the colonial rule was oil in use? No. We're parents working not being paid? How many countries in the world have oil. Expand your brain small. Life is bigger than oil money. Do your visa and travel a little. Most super powers do not have oil and are moving on. Expand your mind. Oil will be useless in the next 50 years. Tesla just launched 3000 electric cars. Expand your mind it's not oil . It's that darkness is dragging light backwards You reason like a clown. TODAY, and well into the forseeable future, Nigeria depends on its oil and gas revenues. That is all that matters, not your theories. Snatch away that source of income, and you consign millions of Nigerian children to suffering and starvation, and death. That is the FACT. |

Do they care that millions of Nigerian children will suffer and die if they seize the oil income being shared by the whole country?
It appears they do not give a damn.
What kind of human beings are these?
They need to remember that it is no fault of those millions of Nigerian children who depend on the oil and gas revenues for their parents' salaries and businesses, and that they cannot take away the means of livelihood from them and not answer to God for their wickedness.
Thank you. |

ndcide: I've heard it all. It's a psychological thing. The closest and better partners our people really have are the igbo people, even if you want to look at it from the angle of regional development... The Niger deltans don't have all it takes to be a country of its own. The complement comes from the igbo people. Are the Niger deltans not being arrogantly oppressed now?
Like I've said, the fear of the igbo people by the SS is stupidity. Are we truly developing as we should? Oh the escape route is "true federalism" as they call it.
That may not happen any time soon. In fact the easiest way to get that true federalism is in pulling out of Nigeria. If Kuwait, Qatar, and UAE with smaller populations than Niger Delta, can form independent, oil rich countries, why can't the Niger Delta? You don't need the Igbos. Get rid of your dependency syndrome.[/quote] |

Politics › Re: Biafra Can Only Be Achieved By WAR by Rossikki(op): 3:17pm On Jul 29, 2017 |
Freemancipation: Let me tell you all one simple fact.
The Biafran army that Nigeria fought in the civil war was a standing army with a streamlined command structure.
The Biafra army that Nigeria if stupid will dare fight now will be an insurgency. It will be boko haram time 100. The Nigerian army will be open targets for snipers when they venture into cities. Attacks will be coming from all directions from Biafran insurgents and they won't be wearing uniforms unlike the Biafran soldiers in the 60s.
Did Nigeria army defeat rag tag boko haram? No
Have they defeated avengers? No
Now add Biafran insurgency to the mix and you realize that this will not end well for Nigeria this time. More bombastic nonsense. None of those groups are threatening to seize Nigeria's primary resource base. Biafra is. The Nigerian military response to secession will be on a scale and magnitude 50 times greater than BH or Avengers. |

Freemancipation: So you are basically saying that Nigerian unity is because of oil and that the reason Nigeria won't let Biafra go is to continue sucking their oil.
So basically one Nigeria is a scam. That is a childish argument. There is no nation on earth that will sit back and allow its primary resource base to 'secede' from it. It just doesn't happen. Texas has at least 4 major secessionist groups, who want that state to leave the US. But as the oil and gas headquarters of the US, Texas will never be allowed to secede, no matter how much Texans demand their right to 'self determination'. |

Nigeria will not let Biafra go.
Biafra accounts for 90% of FG revenue.
Expecting Nigeria to allow Biafran secession is like asking a man to stick his head through a noose and hang.
So far I've seen large crowds at Kanu rallies with colorful flags and attires.
But I've seen precious little by way of military build up or preparations for actual combat.
Isn't it time someone told Kanu to form an army or quit disturbing our peace? |
