And the economic hardship there was caused by western imposed economic sanctions placed on that country for its land redistribution program, which eliminated the previous situation whereby the white minority of 4% owned 85% of the land, with black Zimbabweans mere peasants on their own territory. Mugabe changed that, and that is why his people love him. Their suffering is slowly coming to an end and their economy is now growing, but with fairness to all, and that is the best.
