Ahead of the deadline by political parties in submitting names of their candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the National Working Committee of All Progressive Congress has declared Engineer Isaac Osahon Nosakhare winner of the Ovia Federal Constituency primary election held on Sunday 7th of December , 2014 at Iguobazuwa having scored the highest vote cast as announced by the presiding officer .
 
A top member of the APC National Executive Committee who preferred to be anonymous disclosed  in Benin that based on the committee report submitted to the National chairman of the party , Chief Odigie Oyegun and signed by the committee chairman , Abdullahi Saqid and Muktar Kaura, secretary and from the evident from the video clip that the primary election was substantially about to be concluded when the process was disrupted by two people who are Hon. Morrison Ogunrobo and Dennis Idahosa, NEC has given Hon. Nosakhare Osahon the Independent National Electoral Commission form to fill.
 
 
The NEC member who quoted a section of the party  guideline as saying " Notwithstanding , the provisions of the guideline or any other rules of the party , the decision of the NWC acting on behalf of the NEC shall and be binding on all aspirants , officers and organs of the party in respect of the primary election to the National Assembly ".
 
 
Part of the Abdullahi Saqid report says, "These same persons abducted our presiding officers to unknown destination. We can deduce the following statistics, number of accredited delegates is 662, number of valid votes cast is 654, number of invalid votes is 8, number of votes scored by Hon. "Therefore, it is our submission that in the interest of justice and fair play, Hon. Nosakhare Osahon is the winner of the Ovia Federal Constituency primary election held on the 7th of December, 2014."
In similar vein, in the report of the National Assembly primaries Appeal committee headed by Chief Oludele Sonola and signed by the 3-man committee said after intense scrutinizing and consultation, the appeal committee said they uphold the petition of Hon. Nosakhare
Osahon and declared him winner.
"We invited the presiding officers of the election and show him the video , where he made a pronouncement of 8 void votes , and we asked him how comes 3 votes were writing as void votes which he couldn't answer then we asked how they got 299 votes for charity Amayevbo which he couldn't answer also ".
 
It would be recalled that, the APC primary election held in Ovia Federal Constituency was disrupted by Dennis Idahosa and Hon. Morrison Ogunrobo having done on them that Hon. Nosakhare Osahon has won against their preferred aspirant.
