Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has called on residents of Ekiti State to vote for the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming governorship elections in the state. “APC is the only party that appreciates youths,” Governor Bello said in a short speech at the rally. “It is the only party that recognises the youths and in this dispensation, they gave me the opportunity to represent you in government. Please watch video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ArRI-d2d3w Bello, 43, who describes himself as the ambassador for the youth, called on them to help his party seize power from the PDP in Ekiti. “When we went to Edo State, the youth were fearless (and) we won,” he said, stressing that the same scenario played out in Ondo State and the party seized power from the PDP. “The way we did it (in Ondo), we are going to do it here (in Ekiti),” he declared. “We will campaign day and night, under the rain and under the sun and we will win again in Ekiti State.” Mr Fayemi, a former minister Steel and Solid Minerals and ex-governor of the state, is seeking a second term in office as governor. Natasha Akpoti once alleged that Minister of Steel and Solid mineral Mr Fayemi in a secret deal with Yahaya Bello almost sold Some part of the Ajaokuta Steel to Bello through proxy. And so far among the APC State that has donated financial to the Ekiti election have Kogi State as the highest donor. Why kogi state remains unviable and underdeveloped? Why Salaries are not paid and projects were uncompleted? Kogi State was the most affected state where past and present leaders practice these iniquitous attitudes of ” self needs satisfaction”. No wonder the state remains unenviable and perpetually under-developed, due the disposition and diversion of public funds for personal use. https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-7.55.31-PM-1-300x298.jpeg https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-7.55.28-PM-1-300x225.jpeg https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-7.55.29-PM-1-1-300x247.jpeg https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-7.55.29-PM-2-300x169.jpeg https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-7.55.58-PM-1-300x223.jpeg https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-7.55.59-PM-1-300x225.jpeg https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-7.55.56-PM-300x300.jpeg https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-7.55.57-PM-1.jpeg A comprehensive investigations carried out by an anonymous who pleaded for his name to not be mentioned, has revealed some personal properties acquired by the incumbent governor of kogi state, which could be the reason of the stunted growth we are experiencing in the state today. This means that funds were diverted for personal projects, which exposed the state to continuous financial crisis, left her in the state of discombobulation. Which is the main reason why salaries are not paid and state projects were uncompleted. I sincerely wish to remain silence but for the fact that these nefarious injustices continue in a lackadaisical manner and somebody draw my attention to the salary issues that refused to die, that continue to live among our people, yet imposes pains and agonies on the lives of our people. Aggravated my anger to revealed this unhealthy practice by our accidental governor. Today we presents to you numerous fleet of exotic cars and magnificent multi-million Naira mansion acquired by Govt. Bello amidst perpetual hunger and abject poverty in the state. Now you know why salaries are not paid, the state remains unviable, under-developed and projects were uncompleted. June 17, 2018 The Peoples Democratic Party has outlined how its 2019 presidential candidate will emerge. https://thenigeriatimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/WhatsApp-Image-2018-06-17-at-9.24.35-AM.jpeg In a 40-page document titled ‘Electoral Guideline for the PDP, Directorate of Organisation and Mobilisation’, exclusively obtained by SUNDAY PUNCH in Abuja on Saturday, the party said its presidential aspirants are to pay a total sum of N12m for both nomination and expression of interest forms, respectively. However, female aspirants are to pay only N2m for expression of interest form as they are exempted from the payment of N10m nomination fee. The document that explained these modalities was signed by the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and the National Secretary of the party, Senator Umaru Tsauri. The party said all aspirants are to swear to an oath to abide by the decisions of the party on the conduct of its primary elections. The document said each aspirant must be nominated by not less than “60 persons from at least two-thirds of all the states of the federation who shall be registered voters in their respective local government areas and also registered members of the party.” The document added, “A copy of the voter’s registration card of the aspirant shall be attached to the duly completed nomination form. “To be accompanied by a sworn declaration made before a Commissioner of Oaths or notary public; undertaking to abide by the guidelines, all laws and any rules or regulations made by the party for the conduct of the primary elections.
