Yes. you should own a dog, they are lovely creatures...follow this pet section and check out the lovely Caucasian shepherds that are tagged 'for sale' then when you see a puppy you love talk to the breeder about the Puppy and let him/her educate you on the care, handling and other necessities.

Nice pup, one thing with gsd is that at certain age,they start looking ugly and lanky,(leggy),but will later go back to being that beautiful dog they use to be when they where a puppy, same thing occurs in a rott.

Yes, that's true but a good eye can still spot a good gsd at the leggy stage. I increase the quantity of my dogs food when they are in this stage and I've also had gsds that didn't pass through the leggy stage.

Lovely dog. as long as your puppy is still teething there's no problem, there's only a problem If it's still not up at about 7months...then you can be worried. But if you saw both parents and they have erect ears then I'm sure in no time your pups ears would be up.
