We would be making a bad mistake to score him high just as is a bad mistake to score him low. The reason is there is no president in Nigeria that will ever give us a satisfactory performance in a country where you have weak and destroyed institutions.

The decay is continuing and worsening.

Unfortunately, Nigerians themselves don't want strong institutions, we prefer strong individuals whereas no society can ever produce a strong leader where there is no strong institution. No, there isn't! That is why in places where there should have been rays of hope like churches and mosques, we only have sour experiences.

Look at the past and present of certain political figures who are going up and down because they want to be president. Who among them is the kind of messiah figure we always crave? Bunch of untried and/or unconvicted criminals.

That is why we say brake it up or down so that we can go back and build strong relevant institutions which people can own and trust. If we restructure, aren't we going to have good leaders produced and nurtured by our institutions and for our development ?

A country where terrorists are in charge and untouchable; a country where deadly dealers are celebrated saintly saviours; a country where citizens would rather in a season take N90 billion for Mecca hajj subsidy, only God knows how much for Jerusalem, and turn around to say they want a developed country like UK and US which don't send their wealth to Saudi Arabia; a country whose citizens would rather go to UAE to hide and enjoy stolen wealth but wouldn't learn and use the example of the 7-emirate structure to replicate similar or better development at home; country which ranks amongst the poorest in the world but boasts of the richest in Africa and in the world; a country where lots of people, including religious leaders, go about with unquestioned questionable wealth... Is that a country?

Ask me o.

Who facilitate or brought Dangote to Lagos? Check it well. He knows a day like this will surely come. That is being visionary. Moreso not only Dangote, just watch as things unfold as we go on. I know most youths started knowing jagaban from 2023 election, now and soon, you will know details of how he became and meaning of Asiwaju.
OK. We await the unfolding and the manifestation of Asiwaju in Tinubu.

What do we stand to gain if he falls?

So funny, Nigerians did not even know what they want or maybe being spoon-feed. Everyone saying failure but can't state categorically and how he failed shows that Tinubu is doing well in the right direction but Nigeria didn't want to bear any cost like pains. Let's keep this, till just 6 months of dangote selling fuel to the Nigerians from July, then we come back to say another thing. No pains no gains!

So your hope is on Dangote and not on Tinubu

Subsidy removal across board... No nation can go far on such level of welfarism.

However, he hasn't been able to show transparency and properly cushion the effects of these radical approaches.

His failure to also stamp his foot against corruption also casts a huge shadow on his administration so far.

Hence, my score of 4/10. tongue

Chai!
"Subsidy removal across board"
Is it not the same fuel subsidy they are secretly paying?

Ok, you don't hear of the new one, religious subsidy or hajj subsidy that we spent 90b on?

Did you sincerely expect Tinubu to fight corruption?
The fight against corruption should ordinarily start with him

Honestly, he has taken some bold economic steps... For that, I will give him some credits.

However, he doesn't lead by example. He doesn't walk the talk.

Nigeria ought to be cutting government expenditures by at least 50% going by the depleted resources, but he has failed to toe that line.

So, on a scale of 1 to 10:

4/10

And which of those "bold economic steps" has had any positive soothing relief on the lives of the people?
Which of them is sustainable?
How many of them have they reversed or secretly doing the opposite

The government lacks direction of any sort. There is no noticeable development plan. The president, suffering from dementia related aphasia, clearly seems not to be in control of his own government.

Every development indice and index keeps getting worse. Nothing has improved. Clearly, the president is incompetent and lacks the ability to move the country in the right direction. This government is the worst in the history of Nigeria.

Nothing more to say.

you don't have nothing to say, Where in the east the coastal road will pass. You people are just full of envy. Am s south south person. Before the construction of the second naija bridge where there no bad federal road in Anambra, why did the foolish obi and most of his stupid obidient who are mostly his tribe not ask for stopping the bridge and construct very bad federal road in south east first. I will always respect Asiwaju even thou I didn't vote for him, but he has mind to do what he want, unlike Jonathan that could not bring any tangible development to south south. We are not suppose to even be taking about east west road if not Jonathan was foolish. Mind you there is fund budgeted to construct some section of the road by Tinubu. If am still around in Nigeria in 2027, I will definitely vote for Tinubu. You people praise Jonathan because of personal gain when he was president and you people didn't bother to fix bad roads and even construct the second naija bridge that he used for his two campaigns. I have not seen anybody from south south and south west condemning the road project but just you people. Wether you people scream from now on, it has come to stay and before next election, the road will reach a level of not less than 50 percent. Every time you people accuses the south west as the problem of south which you people is actually the problem. Awolowo seek for regional government but your agunyi ironsi never allowed that to happen because he was head of state then and also Isaac boro was the first to declare succession but same agunyi ironsi frustrated that with the help of ojukwu because they were in charge of the country then. When power left them ojukwu now want to get Biafra. History in secondary school need to be brought back so that Nigerian will know does who never ment well for the country.

Do you know where I am from?

Why didn’t you say all this when they were building 2nd Niger bridge?

Were all the roads in Nigeria perfect then?

You’re lucky you’re not in my front.

I would have given you a very dirty slap. 👋

Have you ever used or crossed the Niger bridge? Everyone knew and agreed that it was necessary to build a new one.

And why are you making it look like it's a tribal matter? The coastal highway we are talking covers/touches west, east and south. So why should I play such card?

And hey, is your father close by? Kindly do the needful

Reno, you can play whatever card you want but reasonable people know that this project is VERY UNNECESSARY at this point of our economic crisis.

Obi is 100% right. For several years now, we can't complete Benin-Ore, East-West road, Calabar highway and you want to start another one.
We should spend part of that humongous amount to perfect those roads
