They have to take the bull by the horn and tackle the root cause - too many of these poor folks are pushing out unneeded and unplanned children with such reckless and careless abandon and then wait for one alhaji to take up the responsiblilty. That's the almajiri system and it's the BIGGEST obstacles to economic prosperity in the north.

I stayed in the north for a number of years so I'm speaking from experience. It's a real crisis and it's sad our politicians are doing virtually nothing about it.

Talk about population control, and the likes of buhari and el rufai will call you an infidel who hates the north.

And given the population of these people, your political ambition is dead immediately.
