Why are you comparing Nigerian brand of politics with that of USA, both countries are practising democracy but their system is totally different so no room for comparism, in Nigeria majority carry the votes and the North got the numbers. Why? I think that's because they systematically wiped out tons of valid votes in opposition strongholds while at the same time fraudulently swelling votes up in APC strongholds. I have never being sure of atiku, especially when I know he comes from a poorly educated region running against a god like incumbent.
In fact, I actually preferred kwankwaso.

But He actually impressed me in the south beyond expectations, and I attribute that to the obi effect.
