This guy is hallucinating. Talking nonsense as usual. The same nonsense they have peddling for long that have been rubbished in this election.
Obi almost won the election for atiku. He managed to brush up atiku's image and use his history of credible achievements to project the atiku brand especially in the south among the educated.
Anybody, but Buhari and atiku would have won. His failure came from his inability to secure his own regional votes.
Peter did his work in the south. And I believe 2023 is the year for the igbo nation.
Any party that wants to win should run with a credible igbo. The signs are already there. It is a southern affair in 2023 and igbos will win. There would be no more buhari to act as spoiler. |

I've read your posts pre election insulting the Yoruba.
What we just showed is that we are diverse in thinking. We don't do what is do e in SE or SS by saying, he's our son, hence he must not be prosecuted.
OBJ is Yoruba, but Yoruba don't like him cos of his character See this otondo. If we are calling omoluabis, this one too will show face. Bigoted fellow. The Yoruba in the real-world just proved that the ones on nairaland are bastards. |

Atiku's undoing was the north where he comes from. He has no one to blame. |

modath: Don't blame your people, past elections were written in Godfather's houses, SE folks don't really vote... This time, it's hard to reduce votes of powerful people like OUK & Rochas to add to PDP's own.... Also they won't allow inflation...
Umahi owes Buhari debt of gratitude for his support, he'd be an ungrateful backstabber if he had allowed vote inflation...
Just thank God for Anambra & Enugu "cooking", it would have been disastrous... Look at this one. Upon all your bigotry on nairaland, half your region voted for atiiku. If I were you, I would go and sleep. Shior. |

Tobimillar1: With apc winning the presidency, South south just lost the biggest opportunity. Akpabio would have been the most qualified for the position especially as a returning senator . As it stands now, senator Ovie omo agege is the only returning APC senator from south south. I don’t know of any returning senator from south east in ApC asides kalu from Abia . That is If pdp will allow it. They have significant numbers if not the majority. They will thwart the apc and reelect their candidate once again. |

SaintLucia: Mr Congress Man our NNPC is now safe. You people think giving Atiku visa will influence his chance of winning election here after your country and una puppet Obasanjo told us how corrupt the man is. Never again shall those criminals rule us again. Foolish and corrupt Americans. Go and find solutions to how Russia wrote your own election results for Trump. Have you seen the way apc fought tooth and nail to win? Even with massive rigging. All their strongholds in the south were plundered. It will only get worse. Pdp have gained the national assembly. Anybody but buhari today and they would have won. Given how terrible the next four years will be for the country under buhari, and with Buhari out of the way in 2023, the pdp will regain power sooner rather than later. They voted massively for GEJ in 2011 and voted against him in 2015 not because they hate him, but because he failed. I know you're expecting them not to vote PDP because Obi is on the ballot with Atiku but hey, the Yorubas don't reason the way u guys do Shut up. When buhari ran with okadigbo, why didn't we vote him? Anything the SW is doing now, we already laid the example. Obi is exceptional, that is why we vote him. Not necessarily because he is igbo. Stop the hype, if they were sophisticated as you claim then voting would have been peaceful and Tinubu would also have gotten the Saraki treatment at the polls. I will wait till the governorship. If apc still retains Lagos, then their sophistication is shallow. But given the current trend of voting in Lagos, jagaban is going to lose unless he rigs it massively. |

BayportalEnt: To be honest, expected a larger margin from South South and South East, with these margins it's obvious Buhari has won... You may not like it but it's the truth I fear that may be the case. Unproductive, ignorant over population of the north west would swing it in buhari 's favour. I am sure the apc and buhari knows they don't deserve the presidency even if they win. The rejection was widespread. The pdp is regaining majority in the national assembly as usual.
