Anyone who has traveled out of Nigeria knows that Lagos is not top 100 best cities by any parameter.
So when you see a ranking, it makes sense to look out for the credibility of the organization conducting it.

The is the highest lie I've heard in 2024. How is Lagos most liveable city? That mean the whole world is hell. I lived in Lagos for 10 years, and the dream of leaving Nigeria came in because of Lagos stress. Thank God I escaped.

I lived in Lagos for about 15 months, worst time of my life. That place is truly bedlam.

Lived in Ogun for about 5yrs, terrible roads

Lived in Ibadan for 4yrs, absolutely love it. Ibadan is peaceful and orderly.

As an Igbo man, we travel to any part of Nigeria without fear or favor

A huge chunk of Nigeria’s oil revenue and resources went into developing Lagos since independence just like Abuja today, yet it is one of the worst places to live?

If LAGOS remains the World's 4th least liveable city in the 2024 Global Liveability Index report, I wonder how other places in Nigeria will be... Places like Benin, Kano, Onitsha, Owerri,Asaba, Ijebu Ode, Oshogbo, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Maiduguri... Lol...

This is happening to my very closed frnd for some months now he has not been feeding well due to the situation of the country coupled with he just lost his job.
His g/f visited last 2days ago and he was very very disapointed.

Advantage
- no stress related to the formalities of renting an apartment
- less likely to become a victim of fraud

Stay in Ibadan, Lekki is overrated and you'll spend more, raining season is terrible, borehole water is very bad there, traffic is a major issue and you'll spend productive or resting hours navigating Lagos roads

I am confidently telling you millions of salary earners without side hustles and those who dosen't have the knowledge of making money the illicit ways are going through your ordeal right now and most of them are still bottling it up.

But when Nigerians were appointed to head Western companies, they reduced the largesse of workers and introduced similar work practices as the Asians. Worse still, the firms never survived. At least, the Asian firms are still standing. What stops us from building successful companies as Asians? That should be your interest. Nigeria is too big for only Western companies to operate.
