Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Need Help With My First Job Interview! by Rubyjade: 5:50pm On Jul 22, 2024 |
Nskbnf: Good evening Nairalanders, I have a job interview tomorrow for a customer service representative position. This is my first job and I have never had an interview before. Can anyone tell me how interviews usually go and what kind of questions they might ask? I am feeling a bit nervous and would really appreciate any tips or advice you can offer. Thanks! Here are some likely questions for a customer service intern: 1. What does excellent customer service mean to you? 2. How would you handle a difficult or angry customer? 3. Can you tell me about a time when you had to resolve a customer complaint? 4. How would you define our company's values and mission? 5. How would you prioritize tasks in a fast-paced customer service environment? 6. Can you walk me through a time when you had to troubleshoot a problem or answer a technical question? 7. How do you stay patient and composed under pressure? 8. Can you describe a situation where you went above and beyond for a customer? 9. How do you handle confidentiality and sensitive customer information? 10. Can you tell me about a product or service you're familiar with and how you'd explain it to a customer? 11. How do you handle a high volume of customer inquiries and requests? 12. Can you describe your experience with customer service software and tools? 13. How do you stay organized and manage your time effectively in a customer service role? 14. Can you tell me about a time when you received feedback or a complaint and how you used it to improve? 15. How do you demonstrate empathy and understanding in customer interactions? These questions aim to assess your customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure. |

You will know how backward many African cities are
The serenity and heavenly peace you find in those countries are out of this world. Greatly splendid You went to far mentioning Western countries. Ordinary South Africa a town there beat some major cities in Nigeria. If you haven't travelled outside Nigeria you wouldn't understand. |

MrPOTUS:

See, Lagos is hell.
If you weren't born and bred in Lagos, you'll find it difficult to cope. You know them once you see them, they are always in a hurry, from rushing busses to many things. A few years ago whole in Benin standing at the b/stop and the bus came for us to board it lo and behold a woman rushed the bus and everyone was staring at her and I walked up to her to ask, are you from Lagos and she said yes, I just laughed |

Some Caucasians still believe we Africans still live on trees and in caves.
It’s so barbaric that a white guys asked me how we’re still survive living with lions and wild animals on our streets. I visited Canada and understood why they believe Africa is living on hunger and starvation. |

ivandragon: Lagos is overpopulated.
But those who want to mock Lagos should have a rethink... because your own land is probably not any better in terms of physical infrastructure and investments.
This is one of the reasons why the coastal highway is a waste of scarce resources.
The investment should have been in developing the existing seaports to make them more attractive and commercially viable.
This would help reduce the pressure on Lagos ports, reduce the population of people, reduce businesses located in lagos strictly because of the port business and spread wealth as other cities would be able to develop better. I am from Togo you need to visit my country and see the huge difference between your cities and ours. |

It's obvious you have visited any city outside Nigeria, even Zimbabwe that's in the last 10 beat Lagos hands down, Benin Republic wasn't even mentionedwt alone Ghana does that tell you something about Lagos. |
