Firstpage: Tell them to move to igbo land so he won’t loot from them again. There's a better way; you form your Afonjaistan where with the help of MURIC, you can have leaders that can loot and loot without being questioned since you seem to get easily irritated when your kleptomaniac leaders are questioned.. You can't be fighting to be part of one Nigeria while insisting at the same time on being left alone to wallow in your corrupt stupor... No! We have a duty as better citizens to save you from yourself! |
Politics › Re: Is Now Clear That The North Feeds The South by Rugaria: 9:58am On Oct 29, 2020 |
fineboynl: why closing the border? the south can buy from neighboring countries. the poverty, hunger and starvation in the north so how come they can't feed themselves. Tell them ooo. They are actually starving Nigerians with their monopolistic bans and price fixing! Most west Africans who are comparatively poorer to Nigerians, actually feed better than Nigerians because food is cheaper in their countries. Nigerians don't eat meat that much these days and you can notice the net effects on the appearance of a typical struggling Nigerian. We lack protein! Beaf is costly because the fulani with the help of the government has monopolised the business and are now fixing prices! Go to even neighbouring countries like Cameroon or Benin republic, change 5k naira and buy meat there. Come to Nigeria and use the same amount and you will see what I mean. Open the borders ahbegi! We want to import from other countries, after all almost every stuff being produced in other regions of the country apart from the north, can also be imported into Nigeria. The government is only protecting the herders from foreign competition.. |

NNEWIsuper: From recent events about the #EndSARS saga and its aftermath food shortage and hike in price in the south, is now clear that the southerners largely depend on the north for 98% of its food supply.. That's really pathetic, yet they're lands for arable farming in the south better than the north.
Pathetic to say the least! We can't all be farmers bro! You closed the borders and imposed import bans on rice, beaf onions etec... Remove your ban and open the borders! We will be buying foodstuffs of better quality from ECOWAS countries at very cheaper rates, that will give us time to face the more important job of making money from our places of work. You feed nobody actually because you collect the last penny for every food items sold...It's like the Igbo trader making mouths about clothing Nigerians or being the reason Nigerians drive cars because he sells cothes and spare parts! Are the people in Cameroon and Tanzania not wearing clothes and driving cars?? Understand? |

They will suffer the consequences of their actions for all the days of their remaining miserable lives Amen and Amen! Never going to end well for those who lied against the innocent people killed at Lekki.., those who criminalized genuine resentment of bad governance with different obnoxious name tags..... Tranquill: Lol fair weather friend? Far from it. At least you could see my position on working with the Igbos devoid of hatred or malice but when the same people come online every day to insult people, show some tendencies to dominate rather than work with others, open thread almost every day to disparage and fabricate lies against Ikwerre people and others who disagree with their views, you don't expect people to keep quiet.
You've almost squandered the chance of having a working alliance with the minorities as you allow and support ipod and other minions to continue disrespecting and insulting others. It seems to me that some of the so-called minorities in the east seem to have very little patience for the igbos compared to how they relate to the other 2 major ethnic groups in Nigeria. Let's be serious here; close your eyes and imagine what will be happening all over the south south, if it was an igbo man that is the president, handing off offshore oil wells to fellow Igbos right left and center, while "igbo herdsmen" are all over the place, killing and maiming at will as was the case at obigbo. I'm sure that every Igbo in site will be a target by now. But it's the fulani and you are all calm with it...The oil workers in your villages are mainly dominated by the Yorubas since the end of the war., it's all good.. Your oil money has biult shiny cities both in Lagos and abuja. , created billionaires elsewhere. You only get 13% and pipeline contracts! What I don't get is why you guys get soooo riled up because one says that their are igbos in the south south! Are there no igbos there? Nzeogwu is Igbo! Amaechi said he is Igbo! So why will any Igbo be happy when an uncouth Wike refers to him as a foreigner? Are there no igbos in obigbo? Or are you saying they are all visitors? What is it that the Igbo has really collectively done to the minorities, that outweighs the kind of strategic solidarity shown during the Jonathan's days that you so concisely explained with your initial post? |

TecM0: You clearly don't know anything about Nigerian Politics lol
Jonathan faced far worse stiffer opposition than Buhari and he came out clean, same as Babangida and may more.... Buhari would come out an hero to people because that's politics, you just have to wait and see
. Keep consoling yourself... Flight ban loading... Next? Some of his principal officers will be snatched off the streets once they step out of Africa... Knowing how Nigerian government officials love their London homes and Dubai joints, it's only a matter of time before some officials start voting with their feet... He's a drowning man.... |

As we speak Tinubu is a National politician with allies in the North and South and he is a major force to reckon with in 2023
. Lol Today his presidency and his legacy have become so totally tarnished that there is a very big prospect of him and his main principals spending some "quality time" in the Hague.... He came in as the Perfect Messiah! He's going out as the biggest failure of a president in Nigerias history! Politics › Re: ... by Rugaria: 7:45pm On Oct 28, 2020 |
Tranquill: The Igbos have shown the minorities that a true brother is one that fights your battle with you. Though the election was lost by Jonathan, the support he got from the Igbos can not be overestimated. Also, the Unity it brought among the minorities is unprecedented.
I got to understand that the dislike and sabotage Jonathan got from the Yorubas was because of the support he was getting from the Igbos as they always feel they are in competition. Some have said to me that Jonathan is building the second Niger bridge and asked why he did not build the fouth mainland bridge for them in Lagos and that he did not give them juicy appointments while one of the first things he did was to reward the Igbos with various appointments including the first chief of army staff they never had since the civil war.
Despite the disappintment, I feel this alliance should be consolidated to build a powerful block for the future. The two sides should forget whatever have divided them in the past and retain this brotherhood for the sake of future generations because NIGERIA CAN NEVER BE ONE. Since the Yorubas chose to align with the Hausa/Fulani which I strongly believe will be shortlived judging from history, the South/South and South/East leaders should see the positive side of the Jonathan presidency and if posible try to bring in the middle belt minorities to form a formidable alliance against the hegemony that the Hausa/Fulani will want to re establish.
Good politics is being able to think ahead and prepare for the future. Very apt write up from a fair weather friend... |

humilitypays: They said it's ipob, instead of confronting the evil Tinubu created over the years in Lagos for winning election, and after election he doesn't take them in, he just abandons them on the streets of Lagos and Southwest to become societal menace claiming to be OPC members, but in reality, these used and dumped youths by Tinubu are hungry, wretched, dejected, helpless and dangerous to the society they live in.
Go to any street or road in Lagos, it's filled with dirty looking agberos created by Tinubu under MC Oluomo,n all they do after election is to chase after Keke, Danfo buses, Okada, etc collecting owamida which they remit back to their Chairman MC Oluomo who in turn remits some portion to the Jagaban of Lagos and the cycle continues year in year out, its an ugly situation, a ticking time bomb still waiting to explode fully Starting to look like they are using the the agberos to loot peoples property while pretending to be protesting. |
