His colleagues out of their large heart lend him money, some #10,000, another #5,000, another #20,000. He collected the money but later had issues with his company which warranted him to be laid off.

By the 10/11th century, a lot, including the demography of the middle east, north african and the nearby european countries, had already changed.
The Arabs were living in the then Arabia; not in Jerusalem, not in Palestine, not in Egypt, not in Turkey,etc, before the creation of islam.
They only invaded and occupied these areas during the conquests.
