Just wasting their time no body will follow this protocol in Kano. |
You really don't deserve it. Let it be given to those who really in need of it. You can even afford to buy split AC and still collect the one mudu of rice and shared it. Haba |
They will balance it with the one they chop in 2016 when FG increased it from N86 to N145. |

I did not agreed with you during Rwandan genocide it was Theonese Bakasora that was controlling and mastermind the genocide in fact he was more brutal than Jean Kambada. Jean Kambanda became Prime Minister of the caretaker government of Rwanda two days after the assassination of the President. He was held to be criminally responsible after it was found that he did not intervene to stop the genocide that took place. He has been proven guilty of being responsible for giving out weapons and ammunition to people during the 1993/94 Rwanda Genocide. However, he denied the knowledge of their intended use in a genocide which leaves him with the blood of some 800 000 people on his hands.[/quote] |

Another early signs of breast cancer are: 1. Change in the size shape of the breast: for instance if the size of the breast change that's one breast is bigger and fuller than the other one, u need to see a doctor for examination. 2. Discharge from nipples: for women if u notice a discharge from ur breast while u r not breast feeding u need to consult ur doctor. 3. When u also notice ur breast looks like a skin of orange pls consult ur doctor as early as possible. |
[What happened when they claimed they removed subsidy in 2016? Pls stop deceiving yourself. quote author=Telkart19 post=80156794]Good idea Increase prices, and stop throwing N2 trillion down a drain every year. In fact, it is better that NNPC stops controlling prices of petroloeum products. Instead, let the market set the price. Yes..prices of stuff will go up. Yes, we will pay N200 and above for petrol BUT....eventually, investors would flow in, investment will flow in, and more money will come, and eventually...more refienries, and LOWER PRICES FOR FUEL Instead of us dashing subsidy cabals 2 trillion every year...let them work for their money. Government can use the savings for things like educaiton, health, etc. P;S If you quote me to abuse me, I will report you to the mods. I have a right to my opinions. An FCT High Court in Maitama has dismissed a no-case submission made by Maryam Sanda, accused of killing her husband, Bilyaminu Bello, and ordered her to enter her defence. Ruling on the submission on Thursday, the trial judge, Justice Yusuf Halilu held that from the preponderance of evidence of all the prosecution witnesses, a thick cloud has been formed by the prosecution making it important to call the other side to make their case. “The submission of no-case to answer by Maryam Sanda, the first defendant, is overruled. I call on the first defendant to enter her defence,” the judge held. Maryam is being tried before the court for allegedly killing Bello, her husband, who was a nephew of former PDP Chairman, Alhaji Bello Halliru Muhammad. Meanwhile, the court has discharged and acquitted Maryam’s mother, Maimuna Aliyu; brother, Aliyu Sanda and house maid, Sadiya Aminu, who were accused by police of assisting Maryam to conceal the evidence by cleaning the blood of the deceased from the scene of the crime. The judge held that the police, either by omission or commission, have clearly not done well in tying Maimuna, Aliyu and Sadiya, to the offence of screening. “The no-case submission of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th defendants is hereby upheld and they are hereby discharged and acquitted,” Justice Halilu held. The court thereafter fixed May 6 for definite defence and ordered that the trial shall be on a day-to-day basis unless otherwise decided by the court. |

For some organizations any casual leave before annual leave should be deducted from annual leave. In my office which is govt agency they deduct your casual if you go before your annual leave, but if you go for your annual leave then you can apply for a casual leave without deductions. |

Between August 2017 and August 2018, 20 parents lost their lives at the hands of their own children in cases reported in the media. For a society that prides itself on children taking care of their parents, this is shocking. When on May 4, 2018, the mutilated corpse of Rosaline Okadigbo was discovered in her native Nando, in Anambra State, it was such a shock. But even more shocking was the fact she was murdered by her own son Christopher Okadigbo, who removed her eyes and heart for money ritual purposes. Mrs Okadigbo is only one of twenty parents in Nigeria murdered in the last one year by their own children. This figure comprises only reported cases in Nigerian newspapers between August 2017 and August 2018. In this figure, nine mothers and 11 fathers have suffered this fate from their children. In a culture where children are taught to honour and care for their parents, this figure is alarming, raising questions as to what could have gone wrong. The reasons for the various parricides, or killings of one’s parents, are as varied as the cases are. Chief Nwode Nwigboaka of Ifelemenu village of Anambra State was on July 29 brutally murdered by His son Julius Nwode Nwigboaka, 23, who was on drugs. Pa Bulus Azi of Boloji village of Bauchi State was murdered by his son Nuhu Bulus who was also high on drugs. But Jonah and Gold Amanze of Umuokiri Nwosi village of Abia State were killed by their son Osinachi Amanze, who suffered from mental illness. Drug-related mental illness is said to be behind the murder of Papa Nathaniel Chukwuemerie killed by his son popularly called Big Boy in Ojinato, Enugu State. Malam Adamu Gamji, was killed by his children Auwalu and Rabiu who accused him of witchcraft, the same reason Kwacha Manu of Marke Gada, Niger State, proffered for murdering his mother, Mama Inne Kaiyo. In Maltawa village of Bauchi State, Malam Muhammadu Jauro Ori was murdered by his son Umaru Muhammadu Ori for the dissolution of his marriage in his absence. Pa Kusha Kure of Karava village in the FCT was murdered by his daughter for not consenting to her marriage proposal to her boyfriend. Love also cost 57-year-old Mrs Chinyere Ogbonna’s life when in June 2018 in Akoli, Abia State, she was murdered by her son for refusing to give consent to his relationship with a blood relation. Other reasons besides these have resulted in parricide. In Muktum village of Yobe State, for instance, Malum Kwarantcheri was killed by his son for not joining the Boko Haram group. While in Pissa, Niger State, Malam Turuwa Ibrahim was killed by his son Abubakar Turuwa in a dispute over sharing cows in July 2018. While Madam Helen Eghagbe, 61, lost her life at the hands of her son Emmanuel Eghagbe, 27, over N20,000 pocket money in July at Ajangbadi in Lagos. When Madam Bene Ikegwuonu, 67, of Okpunoeze Uraugu-Nnewi of Anambra State, returned from the market to prepare soup, she had no idea that a dispute over land would lead her son to attack her with a machete, killing her. The list and the motives are endless, one no less brutal and gory than the other. But for Guidance and Counselling expert, Mrs Olayinka Oparinde, she knows where the buck should stop. “Now most parents don’t have time for their children, which has affected their up-bringing. The children are left to choose which values to adopt and that lack of closeness to children has created a gap in the bond between children and parents,” she said. “The resultant effect is a lack of love from the children to their parents, so with little provocation, the children can decide to kill or hurt their parents. A child who from his infancy is allowed to fend for himself with little or no contribution from the parents will not have that bond that should exist between a man and his son or between a mother and her son,” she said. But for a mother, Hajiya Amina Saidu from Kano, it is hard to believe that a normal rational person would kill his or her parent. “Drugs are freely sold in the open markets which affect the mental health of the children. Also, poverty contributs a lot to the general decay in the wellbeing of some children. They can do anything to make money in order to have a good life,” she said. A father, Mr Kazeem Odejobi blames the increasing number of parricide on the faltering marriage institution, saying this results in poor parental care. For him, moral decadence in the society, child abuse and peer group influences are some of the causes of this ugly development. He implored government to take proactive measure in ensuring that drugs are regulated in the country so that they will not be abused. While experts and parents exchange blames, there is a lot hanging in the balance, like the life Madam Iyabo Fawole. On August 19, 2018 at about 6 am, Madam Iyabo, 68, was already in her shop at Ayobo, a suburb of Lagos, when her son Taiwo Akinola, 29, asked to have a word with her in private. She left her shop and followed him into the house. On getting to house, Taiwo immediately sent his Nephew Faruk to buy him a white handkerchief and a stick of cigarette. Alone with his mother, Taiwo attacked her with an automatic voltage stabilizer and a wooden stool, smashing her head and leaving her for dead. It was the returning Faruk who found her in a pool of blood and raised an alarm. Today, Madam Iyabo is recovering from her injuries while her son, a reported member of Aiye confraternity (a cult group), is standing trial for attempted murder. It is yet to be seen which way the scale of justice will tip but there is no doubt that an ugly trend is on the rise and so far, it is claiming the lives of the parents and their children who murder them. |

Members of staff of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) on Tuesday expressed their displeasure over the reappointment of Prof. Eli Bala as the Director-General of the commission. Mr Ibrahim Usman, the Secretary, Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, ECN branch at a news conference in Abuja, appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to reverse his reappointment. Some of the placards displayed by some members of ECN staff read: “Bala: We will not allow you to bury ECN after killing it”, “E.J Bala: You Are Not Welcome”. Others are “After 29 years, ECN Lacks Appropriate Condition and Scheme of Service”. Usman accused Bala of misappropriating the funds of the commission, adding that there was a breach of administrative procedure in his appointment. According to him, Bala’s reappointment for another term of five years does not augur well for the progress of the commission due to corrupt practices and high handedness in piloting the affairs of ECN. “For all well-meaning staff of the commission, the last five years of Bala’s tenure as the Director-General of ECN can best be summarised as that of ‘rust and rot’. “Aside being unproductive and unethical in industrial relations, there was lack of focus and abandonment of primary mandate. “Bala has done nothing to deserve second tenure instead the anti-graft agencies should be directed to investigate his stewardship. “Hence, his first tenure is better imagined in a wild dream than experienced again for another five years. “This wallowing mismanagement under Bala’s leadership of the commission and his cronies know no bounds as even operational funds were looted spuriously to satisfy the interest of some official of the Ministry Science and Technology,” Usman said. He further called on anti-graft agencies to unravel alleged mismanagement of international donor funded projects handled by the commission. “Particularly, the mystery surrounding how African Development Bank Fund of about 975 million dollars of Lake Chad Basin project was expended. “Similarly, money had been budgeted and squandered under the National Energy Data Bank project, a core mandate of the ECN with nothing to show for it,” said. Usman further accused Bala of continuously perpetrating unfair labour practice in his first tenure. “This was the result of his vehement refusal to implement agreement reached with staff thereby creating unnecessary tension and conflict in the commission leading to man-hour loss,” he added. All efforts by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent, who was at the protest venue to get the reaction from any management staff was unsuccessful as no one agreed to speak. Bala took leadership of the commission in 2013 and his first tenure ended in May 5, before his reappointment. NAN reports that the ECN union in November 2017 embarked on a three-day warning strike over alleged administration anomalies. The union accused the management of the commission of several labour maltreatment, including people not getting promotion when due and lack of training for workers. It also accused the commission of under-performing because the D-G did not understand its core mandate. ECN mandate is to prepare periodic master plans for the balanced and coordinated development of energy in Nigeria, after consultation with agencies of government whose functions are related to the field of energy development and supply. It is also charged with the responsibility for strategic planning and coordination of national policies in the field of energy in all its ramifications.
