I mused over this, considering the fact that the Federal Road Safety Corps
(FRSC) have no way of saving or aiding
accidental victims. They have no way of saving people from highway robbery and all other forms of danger often experienced on the highway. So why do we still have them on the highway?

In breeding, aggression increases after birth. So if you have a dam that's very aggressive before birth this traits will definitely increase during pregnancy which might give you a 50/50 chance of losing pups.

Even overtime some dams have shown aggression towards newly born pups which might be a chance most breeders aren't ready to gamble with.
It's okay if she's playful when she becomes a mother she will be calmer and will have a balanced temperament.
Save the aggression training for the males when breeding.

To the advice, my brother do not leave ur faith for anything or anybody, religion is about believe and what works for u, if ur fiancee cant respect ur faith or atleast allow u to practice what u believe then whats the point, today it is ur religion, tomorrow it could be ur father, mother or siblings thats the problem and u need to stop seeing them

moreover who is she to even think her Church is better than urs, that believe alone shows she is myopic and ignorant.

Locate a friend who has aggressive dogs I repeat dogs. And keep ur dogs there for a while. Your dogs will begin to see how your friends dogs guards the house. Barks and attack which he might learn one or two. This method have been proven over time.

Also know that agressivesness and dominant behaviour grow in dogs with age. As they grow older, they become more territorial.

for the female, if you have intentions of breeding, don't make her aggressive.

Yes and no. The reason a dog gets too playful is basically the absence of fear. When a dog plays with everyone and everything it shows a lot of trust and an absence of fear of danger. When u start being aggressively violent with a dog it instills fear in it and also exposes it's psyche to d fact that humans are dangerous. The dog therefore acts on that fear to be vicious with strangers. With time that fear becomes its strength. So in essence u need to instill fear in a playful dog to awaken it's animalistic instincts to know danger and also be able to defend itself.

it's a gamble I wouldn't try because the dog may chose to embrace fear and dispel visciousness

I know peeps would argue with this concept but to make a playful dog aggressive u have to mess with it's psyche. Every tamed dog can be vicious. It's animal instinct. If u want to make ur dogs wild then u need to start being mean with em. Occasional whippings and starving with less playtime can change ur playful dog into a beast. If u have the courage to hurt ur dog's feelings then definitely they can change into what u want them to be.

you will end up having a fearful dog and there is nothing worse than a fearful dog. OP stuffs like this are genetic if you dogs are not aggressive there is not much you can do.

Is because your regular guard dog will just stand there and be barking to inform you of an intruder but a pitbull will just attack without even thinking twice. Thanks guys my friends dog had a swollen virgina we thought it was a sign of heat but it did not agree to mate with any dog so he is sad that d dog has gone through her first heat cos he promised his uncle a pup soon

a dog will not be receptive throughout the cycle, it will be receptive usually around the 9th to 14th day.

OMG. Bruh, read again and understand. If you want a well guarded house, get those dogs mentioned. the OP doesn't mean they are popular dogs in Nigeria. The choices are based on how ferocious or intimidating the dogs are. For example, if one sees a French mastiff and a German Shepherd side by side, naturally, the French mastiff will be feared more due to its intimidating size. The op did not mean the dogs mentioned are dogs popularly found in Nigeria.

op did not say most popular dogs. Op said dogs that are beat for guarding homes in Nigeria. By that the OP is saying these are digs you should get if you really want your home guarded. Of course German shepherds are rampant in Nigeria because they are easy to find.

French mastiff for example is not common in Nigeria so where is the result sourced from?

My GSD Puppy is the most destructive Dog i have ever seen in my entire FULL Life.

I can boldly remember the movie Child's Play=====Chucky. That's how bad my dog is

It doesn't eat rice,beans,yam,egg,etc. It doesn't eat its own canned food, or its own dry food, It drinks only milk,I mean ONLY PEAK MILK and Golden Morn, i buy the 900g average size and it finishes in 4days

Now, it destroys anything inside the house, from my PS4 Pad to the remote control, from all my socks to my boxers in the room

I kept her out in a cage and it ate the wood while crying mostly at night and you have no option to bring it inside(and d destruction continues)

She barks at will, she barks when happy, it barks when sad, it barks when hungry, infact if it wants to poopoo or fart it will bark, like seriously which dog barks at it's own mess

She chases anything without fear, Including me the owner ( On one fateful night i was drunk)

The yeye dog is only 2months, i wonder what will become of it when she's about 9month old

NB: It has once attempted to swallow my car key and it peed directly inside the cup of my last liquor i was sipping at home around 11PM

that's what you get when you don't research and buy what you can't handle. Engage your dog more
