Avram Grant, Big Phil, Guus Hiddink & now Carlo Ancellotti. . . . . . . . notice a trend in life after JM, all these guys have come with their individual styles & footie principles; all recorded good results at the initial stages of their reigns & towards the tail end faltered (*except GH - he didn't stick around long enuf*). . . . . . . why ![]() I think what y'all should be looking into is those set of players y'all have got!? |
MUFC Players of the Decade: #6I still miss this fella. . . |
presido1:would u rather have Welbeck spear-heading the attack ![]() |
igbo boy:Well said. . . . my sentiments exactly; some people are just quick to bash a poster without giving much thot or tryn to understand the message. @ topic, neva been to Cali but got lots of pals & family that skooled, served & worked there 4 awhile & from their tales, it sure does sound like the *^iisshh to me! |
Did someone in here say "Jose Mourinho is special" Is he still ![]() Well, as someone's signature here says "Pep Guardiola must be his God" Why don't y'all go buy Pep, maybe you'll be winning sextuples in no time ![]() |
aieromon:Very true. . . . hope the boys are all fired-up by the Chelski results, we need em out there with all gunz blazing so Hull won't have a prayer! |
L'pool really needed the win but up until the 60th min, it was looking like a real mountain. The red card to the hull player really helped. I still feel that inspite of the losses, Rafa and his Reds can still make up a lot of ground on the current top-5 teams as long as they can put together a consistent string of wins in between these lost games. |
biina:well, mancini berra start typing his cuz he's not gonna do any better. . . . |
Aquilani starts for the first time in the EPL. . . . what is he made off? We'll see. |
Rafa's reds hope to bounce back from an embarrassing defeat at Pompey and can move up to 6th place on the table if they win tonight - just five points away from the teams occupying the champs ligue spots. Wolves are striving to avoid being dragged deep into the relegation squabble and will want to build on their crucial win over Burnley in the last but the odds are not really in their favor. Mick will no doubt field his strongest possible side tonight with a view to getting something from L'pool who have been uncharacteristically generous in dropping points this season. With Rafa having the complement of a full squad, L'pool are expected to take all 3pts and the onus is on them to but with happenings over the past week. . . . an upset is not entirely off the cards! |
OMO IBO:Whats up man. . . . . don't fancy diamonds anymore ![]() |
Goran Pandev of Lazio is a good striker on the market now. . . . his contract with Lazio has just been cancelled by serie-A commission, so he can now go wherever on a free. |
a cupful of draws can cost more than a handful of losses. . . . ![]() |
Akolawole:GBAM JIGI JIGI GBAM GBAM. . . . . ol' boy 1 star 4 u! |
nateevs:oh. . . . ur eye jus clear abi ![]() |
SIX minutes added time. . . . . . Chelsea will SCORE.
2.5mins to go, don't be shocked when b'ham do cuz they're a threat oh! ![]() |
under 20 & counting. . . . come on b'ham! |
raul:even if berbatov & rooney are going to play at the back, make it a string of 4 so there'll always be a covering player for another. against fulham the defence was all at sea. . . . the back 3 couldn't spread out and stop the fulham wingers/wingbacks; the midfielders in front of the defence were not dropping back to cover the flanks. . . . . it was such an uncomfy formation, i don't think the players quite understood it themselves! |
sturridge seems to be the name on y'all's lips now. . . whatever happened to the controversial kalakuta? ![]() |
sel'sea are very lucky not to be a goal down. . . . drogba, though lying postrate, could have been deemed to be playing benitez on. |
I think RVN will still make a good acquisition. . . . expecially with a club that has good m/f'ders that can work openings and create chances! |
raul:true. . . . wouldn't be very hard to beat hull; important thing is to field a stable team, get the balance spot on all thru - no room for suicidal experimentations like in fulham last week! |
Pep might have much more success but i'll say Rijkaard on the account of experience - he's seen highs and the lows; and felt the heat of real pressure managers face. . . . plus he's dutch and the philosophy of playing good, attack-minded footie as a strong cohesive unit is a tradition where he's from; they are practically weaned on it! In truth, Pep is just playing Frank's system with a slightly different personnel. |
v3:on current form. . . . who wouldn't ![]() |
v3:yeah. . . . close to Brown rd - am i s'posed to know u ![]() |
gracias senorita! |
Say criz, don't u think it'd be a good idea to include the satellite tv provider (HITV/DSTV) that would be airing em games!? |
Tough 1 for the gunners. . . . . without Fab4, be very surprised if they can cop all 3pts! |
as long as play a flat back-4, Carrick/Fletcher in the absence of the regulars, we can hold out and keep a clean sheet - hope SAF gets his mind right and not try any sen're're moves like he did at Craven Cottage! |
Honestly i dont really know what to expect. . .
true talk. . . . the way things are shaping up these days, 1 is not just sure anymore what to expect from these games! say, who knows which channel this matches are gonna be on ![]() |
Javier Saviola is 1 who seems to be picking up again -- he'd make a useful striking addition for any squad! |
