pls read this excerpt, i'm probably not the only hindsight analyst who saw the game at the cottage:

the formation for the wolfsburg game was a straight-forward 4-4-2; but for the fulham game baba strangely opted for a 3-5-2 and that was why the defence was so porous - SAF practically shot MUTD in the foot with this 1!

c'mon people. . . . . the man played a back-4 against wolfsburg - here against fulham, he played a back-3. Unthinkable when you know the lone CB is who. . . . . . . . CARRICK; on the left DE LAET, on the right FLETCHER

Well. . . . twice the ligue shield has been put into Chelsea's hands and twice they've failed to take a firm grip on it - maybe, just maybe its just not going to happen for the diamond!

SAF should never ever try that 3-5-2 formation ever again if he doesn't have DEFENDERS. . . . . you have a make-shift defence and instead of playing a system they are familiar and comfortable with, you opt for something right outta the blue - what was all that for

I think Lyon - Madrid is the game thats gonna provide the most drama of all the draws. . . . . .

Milan - ManU: looks attractive but truth be told except Milan undergo a very major transformation before Feb, they run the risk of suffering heavy losses in this fixture. That team is way too lightweight to be regarded as a big threat.

Inter - Chelsea: get ready for an exciting verbal tirade and an absolutely drab 2-legs of unsensational footie.
