Toosure70: and why he wanted to remain power for life? Nonsence And who says it is a crime to remain in power for a while after doing so much for the citizens under your care? Take for example the most performing Governor from the south-south geopolitical zone of our country: Should he decide to remain in power either as a Senator, Minister or Member, House of Reps;, does that translate to "nonsense" as u call it? Hell no! Or is he going to be made a victim of the hegemonic force of the EFCC or ICPC just as Gadaffi was made to become that of the US and NATO? |

I don't even think it can happen, cuz its how u handle arguments that matters; so it doesn't degenerate into fist fights.

Nairaland General › Spiritual Leader Of Ombatse And Murderer Of DSS Agents Killed In Early Morning R by saaedlee(op): 8:48pm On Nov 17, 2014 |
Baba Alakyo, the spiritual leader of the Ombatse, an Eggon group, has been reportedly killed alongside the village head in an early morning raid on Alakyo, near Lafia, Nasarawa State on Sunday.
Recall that Babe Alakyo was the spiritual leader who gave order for the ambush and murder of about 74 security operatives including 10 Department of State Services (DSS) Agents on May 7, 2013 in a village about 20km south of Lafia.
Barrister Zachary Zamani Allumaga, Legal Adviser of the Ombatse group which has been proscribed by the state government, said information available to him indicated that Baba Alakyo and the village head of Alakyo were killed in the raid, which he blamed on the State Security Service which disguised themselves as Fulani Herdsmen as retaliation to their agents who were killed more than a year ago.
He said: “From the information we have received, Baba Alakyo was killed”.
He said Fulani(DSS) gunmen stormed Alakyo from four directions, killed scores of their members and burnt properties to the group.
Eye witnesses said they heard gunshots @ about 5:30 am and somebody asking them to stay indoors as a security raid was in progress. Furthermore, Residents told newsmen that the Agents disguised as Fulani militia also burnt down four brand new Toyota Hilux vans belonging to the group.
Allumaga, the Ombatse legal adviser, alleged that they always believed that the Fulanis from Wamba, a neighbouring local government area were friends not knowing that they were always on a mission to survey, plan and strategize the best time to attack and killed their leader |
