I think the the answer lies with the letters E or H! For E;taking away the last horizontal match stick that forms the letter E; the word becomes HOTFL which might mean Hold-On-Till-Father-Leaves For H; taking away the only horizontal match stick that forms the letter H the wordmight form something like 110TEL; which might mean call 110 on the telephone. This answer, I seriously doubt cuz he must have had her line. So I stick with the E thing! |

All we can do is pray for peace; better than Our FG coming out to say Gibberish, when what we want to here n see is capture and prosecution of those responsible and not a repetition of the Owguche Scandal !!! |
Its all about the maturity of the individuals in the relationship. Doesn't really make one a perv by keeping them. All the same the trend is surely "Increasing" and alarming. |

Namibians voting in their presidential election became the first in Africa to use electronic voting. It has been 25 years since Namibia's first democratic elections, and for the first time 1.2 million people are expected to cast their votes electronically in the country's fifth election since independence. "The decision to consider acquiring electronic voting machines was primarily based on some challenges and experiences that we have had in the manner and way we manage our elections," the electoral commission's Theo Mujoro told China's CCTV. The voters will cast their ballots for presidential and parliamentary candidates on separate machines, chunky slabs of green and white plastic with the names and images of candidates and their party affiliation that make a loud beep after each vote. "The younger people get it first time, but the older ones you have to explain a little," said presiding officer Hertha Erastus. The voting modules will not be connected externally to any sources to prevent tampering, and the commission hopes electronic voting will reduce queues and speed up counting. Opposition parties had launched an 11th-hour court challenge to stop the vote from going ahead, saying the use of the Indian-made e-voting machines could facilitate vote rigging. The High Court in Windhoek dismissed the case. "There is merit about the electronic voting machines not having a paper trail. The paper trail issue is a very fundamental issue," opposition presidential candidate Mchenry Venaani told CCTV. "But I think all the parties that are complaining now had ample time to take government, or whoever, to court earlier, than coming to stop elections two days before the election." The ruling South West People's Organisation (SWAPO) party is expected to retain power in the country it has run for the past quarter-century. Voters at Katutura township, outside the capital Windhoek, formed long lines before daybreak, including some first-time "born free" voters - those born after independence in 1990. "It's a rich country with poor people, so I hope there is more balance," said 43-year-old Elias while waiting to cast his vote. He said he hopes to see opposition parliamentarians challenge SWAPO's long grip on power. President Hifikepunye Pohamba, who has served a maximum two five-year terms in office, will step down after the vote and is likely to be succeeded by prime minister Hage Geingob, if SWAPO wins the election. The liberation movement won 75 per cent of the vote in the last election, but the party has seen increased criticism of the slow pace of land reform as well as allegations of government corruption. What's most annonying is that no nigerian channel is reporting this? I have to rely on foreign channels and the internet and signals from security agencis for information. So sad! |
ndcide:You said something quite good here; since we have now established that there is "nothing" GEJ can do for these people, why don't he call these politicians saying they can end the Boko Haram menace in a month or so, listen to them, or engage them towards achieving that purpose tho not in the same political party? As for the man in "Blue suit"; he should have been the top-most priority of the security agents there, and not the Helpless Representatives. Come to think of it, if you defend the IGP on his actions and remarks afterwards, then I'll say that u're being bias! If the IGP had intelligence report that they'll be an invasion of the assembly premises on that day; courtesy demands that adequate measures be put in place to create an alternate entry and exits for members of the house or more importantly the Speaker due to the impending "doom". But to show that the IGP was playing a script instructions passed the officer in charge of the House was not to respond to anybody especially the speaker when he calls @ the gate! And when the IGP appeared before the senate select committee he didn't accord respect to the Speaker, he didn't even recognise his Position! yet the Speaker was the man who sat and confirmed him as IGP of Police some months back! |
ndcide:Permit mytypos as I dey hold-up dey go back house; Firstly, well agreed; I am a critic of the GEJ Administration, But a Constructive critic! More Importantly I belong to no political party nor group. The Commander-in-chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is @ liberty to listen n act accordingly to individuals(in persons of governors) representing the people of a state n maybe heed to their advice or not concerning security issues affecting that state or region in question. With respect to my office, I can say; The first line of action taken when the issue of Niger Delta Militias/Boko Haram raised its ugly head during the Yar'Adua's Administration, was to get the Governors n Elder Statesmen to offer advice on how to resolve it peacefully. We all know why that of Niger Delta worked, but same cannot be said for the Islamic Extremists whose cause of struggle cannot even be discussed. In line with the aforementioned who do u approportionate the blame to? Taking u back again to the Niger-Delta Issue, No single governor in that region could boast of any contact within the ranks nor leadership of the Militia; all the governors could do then, was to ask the traditional rulers of their communities to liaise with the Militia whenever atrocities(especially kidnapping) were committed. Comparing that with the Boko Haram menace, the Traditional Leaders in their "Caliphate(strike zone)" are even among the victims. So what do expect the Governors to do? Well in your court of judgement I'll say: inability of the Federal Government or State Government to quash the terror group(as they have evolved into) are both parties' fault. It's not just a question of approportionating blame, but to who? Besides this will not solve the issue! I am in no way exempting the FG as its not the State Govt that the International Community will look up to for answers before sanctions are placed(as it might soon be the case). All we can do is pray for the families of the affected find the much need consolation in the Lord they worship. And Hope that the Federal Government look for a better way to solve this issue. |
